The salesman Sean was very helpful without being pushy? After visiting other sofa outlets, I decided to purchase a sofa from furniture village.

Dan, was a great listener to what i needed and helped me choose the perfect sofa within my budget. Well, a little over actually. But I walked out a very happy customer.

I came in and got helped straight away from Steve. I needed change and niel ran to the shop to get for me . Very helpful staff here I would definitely recommend

Avoid this company at all cost . Paid over £6,000 for G Plan 2 x 2 seater electric recliners , armchair and footstool one of the sofas wobbles like a jelly . Contacted customer care the day after delivery then had to wait a month for a sub contractor engineer to visit who after phoning his office to ask what to do said that the wobble was normal when no one is sitting on it 🤷‍♂️which is funny because the other identical sofa doesn’t do it. After another phone call to customer care another visit was arranged who suggested adding an aftermarket rod and bolt which we refused because if there wasn’t anything wrong with it why would it need extra hardware added. Furniture Village have now washed there hands of the situation and suggested we report the problem to the Furniture Ombudsman. Cannot add photos or videos to this review which is a shame because they make interesting viewing .

I purchased a corner leather sofa from Fv a few weeks ago. I was not happy with the assembly of the individual pods also one of the pods slopes so therefore does not align with the rest of the sofa. I sent photographs to FV who arranged for an independent assessor to come to the property. He took more photos and said he would send them to FV, I have to say he was extremely uncommunicative on his visit and said he was only here to take photos! The outcome of the visit was deemed “within tolerance” well it certainly IS NOT within my tolerance. I have now paid over £5000 for an item which is not aesthetically pleasing and very obvious to the naked eye.
I would like to ask Fv if they would advertise my wonky sofa in a magazine…….the answer would be a definite no.
Avoid this company if you are looking for a good aftersales service and an item of furniture that looks good in your home!

We dress casual but still treated as important customers. The staff Leigh was patient to explain the different brands and we chose what we want. We are still waiting for our sofas.

We built the most excellent rapport with Jason, the manager at the Orpington branch, who couldn't have done anything more to help us make a considered purchase. Jason was so helpful, friendly and extremely knowledgeable with the sofas, leathers, recliners etc and went way beyond what we had experienced elsewhere. We were not pushed, rushed or left feeling pressured. Thank you Jason, you are a very nice man, it was our pleasure to meet and deal with you.

The communication was very good. The delivery was on time. The delivery team were friendly and polite. Great service.

Rob knew everything there is to know and advise on mattresses. Set out a plan on how to try them. Everyone hates picking new mattresses but rob helped us with our final selection

Dan was brilliant. No hard sell (which I hate), just pleasant, funny and informative. The sofa we've chosen is exactly what we needed, despite checking countless other outlets.
Superb all-round.

Team member Dan was friendly and v knowledgeable re the seating we tried & tested including where made, base materials and the available options re motorised parts. He readily provided the range of upholstery colours and materials. He gave us the perfect mix of providing information & help when needed and letting us wander round and test multiple chairs/settees at our own pace.

Barbara Janowicz at the Orpington branch was so very helpful. She was brilliant! We were indecisive and she was very patient with us and we didn't feel rushed at all. It was a pleasure to be in the store and we would certainly use the store again in future. We also liked the range of styles of sofas and the wide range of colours and material types. The quality of the sofas looked much better than some other stores we visited. We would have liked a bit quicker delivery than the 14-16 weeks we were quoted, but are prepared to wait.
