We can't praise Nick and team enough, they did the most wonderful job restoring a very hard old oak floor. We learnt some valuable lessons the hard way by initially attempting to sand the floors ourselves with both disc and belt sanders, to no avail. First Class Floor Sanding did a brilliant job, total professionals and extremely polite, friendly and thorough. They also advised us on the best oil finish product (better than we had been able to source ourselves) and by the end of the process it looked immaculate, exactly how we had hoped and like a brand new floor, whilst retaining it's natural beauty. We asked First Class Floor Sanding to sand our original floorboards in two bedrooms and the landing, including replacing a number of missing boards and removing a patchy combination of tiles and concrete hearth. They gave great advice and the results look (and feel) amazing. We've had floors done before but never to this standard. Clean, tidy and a great finish. We'll be asking them back to finish the upstairs as soon as we are ready! Highly recommended - very professional.

First Class Floor Sanding is very friendly, customer focussed and professional. They arrived on time and completed the work on time. They took great care with a couple of large items which had to be moved. My new floor is a joy to behold.

Nick was responsive over the phone and provided me all the information I needed in a helpful way. His quote was precise and the job happened in the scheduled day as planned. He sent one of his employees to do the 2-day job (40sqmt).

The job was good, but a few scuffs and sading marks remained behind, as well as a poor finishing on the gaps. I asked him to fix and he helpfully clarified that the scuffs were part of the wood, but he could come back to repair the sanding marks and the gapfill.

After another 3h of work, which he scheduled quickly on a Saturday the sanding marks were gone, but the gapfill was worse than before. He left behind a lighter-than-the-wood gapfill and when he tried to remove it he scratched the floor around.

I then made the payment because overall the service was OK, but asked him to fix the scratched floor. I understood that the gapfill was impossible to fix, but the scratched surface was worse than before. He ignored my email and whatsapp message with the pictures.

We hired First Class Floor Sanding to sand and restore the floorboards in our kitchen, hallway and stairs. They also removed an old concrete hearth and applied stain and finishing to the boards. We're really pleased with how it all looks and the work was done quickly and tidily. The price was also very competitive. Would recommend!

We had our floor sanded by Nas from Nick's team and are extremely happy. We received an answer to our enquiry straight away over the weekend and Nick had responded to everything quickly afterwards as well. The estimate was realistic and the job was superb. There was no long wait.
Even with a critical eye I couldn't find any imperfections. The floor looks like new. We were given some cleaning products and instructions afterwards. Everything was tidied up afterwards. We will definitely be using his services again in ther near future. Highly recommended +++

I had recently moved into a flat and needed the carpet taking out and the wooden floors underneath the sorted. The team were very responsive and came to give a quote within a couple days. They also got the job done the next week and I was extremely impressed with their efficiency (got the job done in 2 days!) They moved all my furniture with care, put everything back where it was. The floors look wonderful and I couldn't be happier. I am really happy I chose this company and their help with the after care has also been fantastic.
