Absolute disgrace of a company
Absolute disgrace of a company ,
I have had this account now for around 1.5 years , just using it here and there if I needed .
Had 0 issues
But these last 9 days have been hell !!
Apparently my account is under “review”
Which makes 0 sense as the only money that was sent into the account were all from my other banks with my name .
Nothing over £100 ever.
And yet it’s taking them 9+ days to review something which I don’t even have a clue what they are reviewing .
I have called them every single day and it gets more and more frustrating because the staff on the phone are reading of a script .
“Your account is with the relevant team and once we know more we will email you”
I said let me speak to a manager , and what a surprise thr manager comes out and says ,
“Your account is with the relevant team and once we know more we will email you”
I asked to close my account down and for them to transfer my money to another account.
The “manager” says flat out “we won’t do that “
Not we can’t , but we won’t.
Highly highly recommend NOT using this bank or whatever they call themselves.
By there logic my account can be under “review” for the next 6 years with no sight of my money .

Appalling service.
I’ve had this card a few years and previously found ok. Service seems to have deteriorated. I couldn’t change my money into the currencies I needed as no drop down on app. Live chat no help. When I rang customer services the person I spoke to told me I had insufficient funds. Although I could clearly see the money Id paid on to my account. (It was not in pending). I’ve closed the card and used an old Hays card for my holiday instead

Great Product and Customer Service
A great product Ive used for many years. Having come on holiday and trying to top my card up, I found a problem. Contacted their support team and had an immediate response from Zamahlubi who dealt with the issue swiftly and kept me informed throughout. Too notch customer service.
Absolutely disgraceful
Absolutely disgraceful. I had money go into my account from work and they’ve kept it for 8 days saying other people aren’t allowed to put money in your account as it’s a travel card! If you’re not gonna accept it then don’t but you can’t keep it for 8 days sitting in limbo. I’ve been calling them and emailing them non stop and they still haven’t accepted or rejected my money.

FairFX is a great product
FairFX is a great product, I've had it for years. It's good to have only one card but in the past, with separate cards, it was a much easier purchasing and using customer experience. My last two trips I've had to contact the helpdesk as I find the site more confusing to top up a card than it was before. The helpdesk are excellent and have a 24 hrs SLA which they always meet although this isn't always as convenient for a client / customer who is abroad or in their home country. I've taken one star off as I think their CX could be improved onsite.

Chat Option disappointed
I was quite disappointed with the customer service level on the 'chat' - no one would call!
However, then someone called but didn't speak. I ended up call.
I spoke with Marcus Imran who was incredibly helpful. So although I was happy in the end the first 'chat' experience was very poor!

A mixed experience
I had a mixed experience in that I was finding the app rather confusing to navigate. However, Kate was extremely helpful and kind and assisted me in achieving my aim. So app not great but customer service excellent.
