We moved to Wicklow in 2019. There was an EWT water treatment unit installed. On getting it serviced by EWT, they recommended a new unit. That was installed about 2 years ago at a cost of over €600. It has never worked. We have huge ongoing issues with limescale.
I have engaged with EWT customer care, but they are a waste of time and do not care about the quality of their products or service.
The unit supplied either uses too much salt or none at all, as it is now. Either way the product does not work.
I would very much discourage any customer from using this company.
The engineer called exactly when he said he would. He was very friendly. Kept us informed of what he was doing. Left the place spotless after installing a new filter.

I had difficulty initially trying to contact the office and have my questions answered but when I did the customer service was excellent. The engineer arrived out on time and installed the water softener very quickly and efficiently. No mess and very pleasant. This is the first time since I moved here I have been able to drink the water from the tap. Time will tell if I see an improvement in my children's skin but so far so good.

I have been dealing with EW Technologies since the very beginning and I would have to say they are probably the best company I have dealt with. Super service, never a problem. Can highly recommend them to anyone 10/10
I purchased the water softener in September 2018 and have had it 'serviced' regularly by EWT since then. The first one really seemed like the guy did his job. The second year, the engineer seemed to be done very quickly, so last year I timed it. 8 minutes! At a cost of £100. On 28th April this year I contact EWT as the water softener had flooded. VERY poor contact procedure, but eventually I gave up using the "advised" way of contacting via the (utterly useless) App and phoned - which took an age to get through. I then got a text telling me "your appointment date will arrive by SMS within 5 working days". Not an actual appointment understand - just to GIVE me an appointment! This with the thing flooding! When eventually I did get an appointment it was for a date when I was away. So I replied with RESC to reschedule as advised in the text. Nothing. When I got back from holiday still nothing, so I used a local guy who came and fixed the problem easily and charged just £75 - no parts needed. He was also astonished that there was no overflow fitted which would have at least stopped any water damage. Consequentially I checked out the diagram in my brochure that came with the water softener, you can clearly see an overflow fitted, so why was mine not fitted with one on installation? Ludicrous when you think about it. I will be using the local guy for servicing in future as he does provide actual SERVICE. If it ever breaks down and he can't source the parts, I'll just replace it with one that he recommends - which won't be EWT.
The actual service of the unit was fine and completed very quickly and efficiently by the tech but EWT need to work on their communication. Having called EWT to change my deal with them and to order some salt the day of the service, it took 2 weeks to get the salt delivered and no-one has been in touch regarding terms of service. They told me to use the app, they had the wrong info about me, so they had to update my info for the app, which I still can’t login to. Not impressed with their admin at all.
