Unfortunately 4 stars because the item I purchased from the website wasn't actually in stock. Ideally the website should only be showing items I can actually buy. Nice to be able to speak to people on the phone and via email when there was an issue, and I received a different size of my item in the end with fast delivery.

Unboxing, unfolding and set up of the ebike was easy. The finish, colour and the complete look of the bike is excellent. Mini toolkit for key fob was an extra bonus. Tempted to get the e28.9 as well.

I have an original Estarli 28 (I think). It’s amazing bike. The bike rack is solid and estarli panniers are perfect. Not expensive for what you get. Love that it is a British 🇬🇧 company.

Ordered a spare charger to keep at work. After 6 weeks no sign of it, chased to be told needed frame number and other details “to protect our customers from theft”. No mention of this when ordering or any request from estarli until I chased them. After I provided this was promised the charger would be sent as priority but in fact took another 2 weeks and 4 chasing emails. The bike is great but this was abysmal.

The locks are of excellent quality if a bit on the heavy side when you wear them around the waste, and arrived in good time.

I odered a refurbished Estarli 20.7 around a year ago through a certified distributor. The bike is excellent to ride, strong and sturdy and the orange model is a stunner.

Where a couple stars are missing is the quality control of the smaller parts of the bike and the accessories on offer. The magnet connecting the bike is pretty useless, it cannot be trusted to hold the bike together. I have since purchased a velcro strap through Amazon for a tenner, which does a much better job of keeping the bike folded. I wish they skipped the weak magnets and included something like this instead.

Additionally, I ordered a new pannier bag from Estarli with my refurbished bike. This broke within 2 months and they quickly sent me a replacement, however this again broke within a few weeks. I am sure they would replace it but I don't want a third bag which would likely break. So I will opt to replace it with a bag from a different manufacturer.

Aside from that, the charger has recently died and I am awaiting a free replacement.

All in all I am happy with the experience of riding the bike and the customer service has been phenomenal, I just wish a little more quality control went into the magnets, the bags and the battery.

Terrible service.
Ordered charger months ago didn't come, ordered again and for more than 3 WEEKS didn't here from them...sent email, they said: "oh will be dispatch it tomorrow".. Turns out their solutions even worse.

Estarli folding E bike model E20.X PRO +pannier rack

Bike was ordered direct from the factory it arrived on time fully assembled including my selected accessory.
I have now done 250 miles on the bike. The effective technology, well set up software and good components continue to ensure a great ride.
Brakes very good only 1 finger operation needed, display clearly visible at any angle even in full sunlight, handlebar grips supportive and comfortable wing shape. Built in lights have an excellent range of visibility/see-ability.
After 65 miles of use I had a technical problem with my bike and contacted the UK manufacturer who dealt with the issue helpfully, honestly, effectively and quickly.
A well designed British bike at a great price

Great response when I lost a magnet from the front wheel. A new magnet was dispatched immediately and arrived a couple of days later. Really helpful and speedy response to my emails too. great service!

Bike Arrived faster than expected and some minor issues where quickly resolved by the help desk

I've held off giving a review for the Estarli E28.X to allow it to settle in and see if it's worth it in the long run. I purchased in December 2024 and writing this review in September 2025.

Well I have to say this bike is a dream, it's easy to ride, the power is good and it needs minimal maintenance. Literally I just stick it in storage and drag it out whenever I need it. Apart from putting a bit of air in the tyres every now and then that's pretty much it.

Even though I purchased the E28.X which is classed as being a city bike, I took the option of fitting the front suspension forks and suspension seat. The bike itself just loves country roads and gravel tracks. Cycling with friends who have Specialised Turbo Vado's we exchanged bikes part way round and they all now want an Estarli.

The Vado felt like a bone shaker and unrefined, with friends saying the Estarli was like a Rolls Royce of bikes.

Well as you can imagine I'm chuffed to bits with it, the quality and reliability are spot on and it's just great fun to ride. I would definitely suggest paying out for the suspension seat as this makes the ride sublime and you just don't notice bumps in the road.

We made our purchase at an E bike testing day back in June. There was some delays due to production line issues and Estarli could have kept us better informed by a quick phone text or email, however it was us who were doing the calling.
Other than that the bikes are great, delivery went smoothly. They are still new to us to this review relates to the purchasing process rather than the product.

Arrived promptly and incredibly well packaged.

I was very pleased with the look of the bike to start with and Electric Bike Shop Gloucester were very good about letting me try their demonstrator and helped adjust things to suit me. The one thing that didn’t feel good was the saddle and I ordered a different one. I have used it to pop to the shops and some leisure riding. 35 miles so far!
The controls are easy to use and I’ve not had any trouble using them.
The bike is going in for an inspection late September and I will have a replacement handlebar end stop which was damaged.
All in all, I’m very pleased so far!
