Shit website, can't change booking.. 1 star is too much, should be in negative not above zero..

Had a really great experience with DVSA Examiner, Brian, at the Kassam motorcycle test centre in Oxford this week. He gave clear instructions for both Module 1 and Module 2 and good, constructive feedback at the end of both tests.

27.10.25 RRG Rochdale fraudulently claimed my car had failed its MOT claiming it needed 2 new rear tires (worn cords showing); new rear brake pads (less than 1.5mm) and new discs at the rear. TOTAL COST £1003.20 NOTE - The tire cords were not showing and the pads had more than 1.5mm on them.

28.10.25 MOT redone and passed by another independent garage the next day.No failures just two minor advisories

29.10.25 I submitted a complaint to DVSA

31.10.25 email received confirming receipt of my complaint.

02.12.25 DVSA eventually contacted me to say they couldn't do anything because 28 days had now passed since the original MOT and my complaint.

What is the point of submitting a complaint if they sit on it and wait until the statutory deadline has passed. DVSA is openly enabling fraud by allowing RRG Skoda in Rochdale to falsely fail MOTs in order to create work and generate income.

My theory test is running out in April, and I was trying to get a test booked almost impossible. I got up at 5am twice Mondays and stand in front of the computer for hours in order to get a slot. That is too much to ask for.

But I failed it for a small mistake. I don't think I will do it again. I think the whole driving test needs to reform. 2 years last for theory test is not enough because it took me one year in order to get a instructor to teach me, then 1 year is gone. Then I need to book the test after learning fews months. It would be impossible to I pass after learning. I feel examiners does not care how much affords you put in in your test

To book a Driving Test it’s IMPOSSIBLE these days even months ahead there are no slots available… what’s wrong with this Company? you can book only by paying paying other people hundreds of pounds
are they become so corrupt? Should we start to sign Petition? GET IT SORTED!

Cannot change driving test.

Have to be online dead on 6am every Monday morning to check for a cancellation but the site tells me to phone them but the lines are not open at that time..

How silly is that?

Tests are time sensitive and having to book so far in advance to beat the bots and scammers is just disgusting

Sort your driving test bookings out.
How can people book tests then SELL on sites like Facebook for hundreds of pounds. Surely tests shouldn't be transferable! No wonder noone can ever book a test apart from i assume criminal gangs exploiting a God awful out of date system!

I wish one day we could be able to give negative star on our review, dvsa website it's a junkie, trying to access my book for driving test and it says access denied, doesn't matter what it do, even following all suggestions given by the error page, nothing changes.

TEST CENTER- ABERGAVENNY-
My examiner was called Mark - what a nice man! I was genuinely so nervous, he came into the waiting room to collect me and immediately put me at ease! I can't thank him enough for explaining how the test worked etc etc and then...we were off! He really did put me at ease. Thank you Mark for your expertise and knowledge and for just being such a nice person. It is a truly scary thing, to go and try and pass a driving test, especially as a mature/older woman, you made it much easier and I really appreciated how kind you were. Thank you.

The system remains broken
Emails are sent to learner drivers with 'advice' and 'suggestions' about preparing for your test! How insensitive!
There need to be more tests available so that learner drivers are not put through the current stressful process which blocks them from getting a test when they are ready.
How long is this going to continue for these poor learner drivers?

Take money from the vulnerable and those with learning difficulties unfairly. Absolutely disgusting.

Absolutely lovely person who made my pupil feel so comfortable during the test, especially as she was extremely nervous. Just genuinely a lovely friendly person who made it a memorable experience in a positive way. More like Mark please.

booked my driving test in july 2025 for middle of january 2026 and now just a month before DVSA has changed my test to another test centre ( to far from me) because they doesn't have enough exams! its a shame to wait months then to change my test to a new centre! a cant do any lesson there because its to far from me! they say it's illegal to use thirt party to book tests! but my question is is it legal te let them book lot of tests?!
🔴 also instructors who ask for license photos should be prosecuted and their licenses should be revoked. only then will the system return to its previous state!

my first instructor lady asked me for a picture of my license but i haven't sent.
and she teached me 6 hours (3 lessons)
she never asked me to show her my license
or just to ask if i had one!

i said i have my L in case you want to see
and she said oh ok send me a picture when you can!

I hate the DVSA. Booked 4 tests and only did 2 because of pathetic reasons. Honestly if you are learning to drive good luck to you because it’s a disgrace of a company. Basically uncontactable all the time and it’s really not good enough. My test was meant to be in 3 days because the examiner isn’t available and the next available one is in 2 months. Like what a ridiculous excuse!!!! Find another examiner for god sake!!!!! Disgusting

What an awful system. Truly awful and I cannot believe it is still running the way it is. Everything about it is awful- from the staff phone calls( I’m sure not all) and to the actual booking of the test. It’s a disgrace and I wonder how long it will take them to change it . Considered going to another country and getting my license there- cheaper and quicker !

DVSA is absolutely disgusting. Wake up 5.30am and wait to book the test at 6am. few test dates come up and disappears before you click on it. This system is corrupted. Third party selling the booked test with more price you think. It is illegal. My previous Theory test has expired because I couldn't book through the corrupt system. I have passed the theory test second time but still struggling to book the practical test.

I’ve been learning to drive for two years. In those two years, I only managed to get 2 driving tests before my theory expired. I’ve now redone my theory and passed in August. For 2 months, I have been up at 6am every morning on my day off to hopefully grab a test. Even if you wake up earlier than six and queue, there is still no chance of getting a test.

I failed my last test due to the pressure and anxiety of it being my last chance before my theory expired and I’m only worried I’ll fail the next test (if I ever get one) due to anxiety. All of my money goes to driving lessons at this point and I even considered stopping driving all together, even though I’ve been test ready for a year.

You need to fix this ASAP.

I tried booking a driving test, but it keeps telling me:
"We have searched all dates in this test centre. There are no tests that meet your requirements. You can search again at a different test centre."
Because I kept trying to search for a date and location that was actually possible to book, they gave me error 15, meaning they blocked me from using the service any further on the suspicion I was an automated bot.

Shocking customer service I’ve called on 3X occasions now to ask a simple question as they apparently lost my medical report and have had to wait on the phone over an hour each time to not get an answer.
Management should be ashamed of the shocking service

I'm an ADI and extremely disappointed with the poor service that I've received regarding the renewal of my badge. They took more than 3 weeks to just give a response to my application. No wonder they couldn't clear the backlog of practical test bookings since covid in 2019. In this advanced era of AI, they should hire more efficient people who are not as sluggish and useless as the current one.
