Dstv internet is a scam,the first month…

Dstv internet is a scam,the first month it works fine then after that you will be paying without receiving data,their call center doesn't go through,if you want out they tide you into a contract you have to pay cancellation fees yet you are paying for a service that's not delivered,I trusted dstv little did I know

Why isn't dstv streaming working on…

Why isn't dstv streaming working on cellphones???? We have the premium package with 2 upgraded decoders. I tried logging onto the app on my cellphone but couldn't access any of the channels I normally watch. If there is a problem, kindly get a technician to sort the bloody thing out!!!!! The decoders are on my husband's name, Mr R B Misthry.
You need to get a human to answer questions on your WhatsApp, as it's clearly useless to waste data adding DSTV WhatsApp, unless there are signs of intelligent life there.

I've been trying to contact Dstv via email the past 4 days because it looked like the debut order did not go through then I needed to pay a fee for that also which I feel is unfair towards me.

The fee did not go through because the debit amount was incorrect.

When I sent a email questioning this I received the most bull **** answer:"Kindly be advised the payment for 31-03-2024 and 05-05-2024 was not successful. the total of R 2088.84 it includes subscription of April and May 2024."

Ok so now in which universe should I pay for April and May? I'm due March. Now I'm told that I have to pay April even though we were 5 days in April and May needs to be paid even though May have not been started.. Multiple times I've asked this to be explained to me because I clearly do not understand this logic. Because according to me this is not how life works and its not the first time. I've received that one email and that's it. I tried making a payment the payment got accepted then declined because it was not amount due, now the money is taken off my account. The amount should still be returned but yet i still have to make another payment. Do you guys think we just have money laying arounf like that when mistakes on your end is not corrected? I asked several times please update my account, give me a correct amount due so I can manually make the payment and nothing.

Now what's really annoying me that this morning my account have been puased. What the hell is reason you have a CS departmen? Why is it that I have this expensive package if there is so many issues?

Whenever there is a issue all you do is give apologies for the inconvenience and that is it that. No compensations no nothing.

Same thing everytime.

First you guys billed me for two decoders when I clearly stated it should not be but the person on line was still on training then few months ago you charged me double and again it was a mistake on your end so it was just we are sorry.

Now this. I get this is part of life but now you are inconveniencing me when I've been asking what's the amount and time correct the account. 1700 for DsTV premium for one month on this app. How is this normal?

Untill now no communication.

Your communication is horrible really its so sad that you guys think this is normal.

This service is the worst.

Please also do not say you will call me I wish not to speak with you, one day when you decide to pick up my emails and this review I will answer emails but not your call. It's no point listening to the same **** via call everytime.

Dstv Is a FRAUD!!!

Oh WOW.. Where do I even begin? I'm a widow raising 3 kids whom I try to pay dstv for to watch. However for 2 months I have made payments on my subscriptions but would always get disconnected every week and each time I call, I am asked to pay another reconnection fee plus the subscription service because my "payment was not allocated". That's the excuse I always get. Guys please, if there is anyone who is in the legal services, I need your help to sue this company for fraudulently taking my hard earned cash. I paid another amount on the 1st of April and I was disconnected on the 8th again. I called in and asked why I was disconnected, none of the agents including their "manager" called Dini were able to explain why. She then promised to call me back to reconnect after discovering they were in the wrong... However, I remain with adverts playing on my TV till date. Can I please have someone reach out to me who can help me fight for my consumer rights because this company has gotten too far with their behaviour.

Worst ever

Worst ever, total cr$p they have taken away so many channels and have not replaced them with anything they just want money but they don't want to offer a service to get it. Unbelievable really

Dstv is the worse ever.

Dstv is the worse ever.
At this point I will take up any other alternative other then dstv.

Do I paid my dstv at the end of March.
My internet package has not been reloaded until today.
I have been asking them how do I reconnect my Netflix account to my dstv bill.
I cant get all my dstv compact channels on the dstv stream app.

Everytime I chat to one of their agents on web chat they either end the chat or tell me to delete the streaming app and re-download which I have 3 times already.
They say when you log into Netflix on the TV it will automatically add it to the dstv bil but i have done that 10 times already it reconnects me to the web page on my browser.
The web hat agents won't even talk about the fact that my data has not reloaded for the month.

When I call all they say is that they are having technical issues.
That's been happening from the 26th of March.
Which is sad because other then the service dstv is reletively good

Dstv internet Problem

I have Dstv compact and took the DSTV internet package of R499. Now they are double billing for both and when I too the took the internet contract I told them to cancel the other
I have been dealing with them since the 23rd of March and nothing has been resolved.I dont get internet which I have paid for

You sit on the phone more than an hour without help. You phone again you get a different consultant who is worse than the other. You cannot get to.management and even if you flag for call back nothing happens. They are quick to take out contract and bill you but they wont attend to your problems.They are the monopoly and just show the middle finger.
It is really frustrating

I have bought xplora ultra with dstv so…

I have bought xplora ultra with dstv so that I can watch showmax. It's a week now. Still can't watch showmax. Consultant s are incompetent. I have called numerous times no one s assisting me. Feel like cancelling the contract on monday. This s bad. My acc is linked to dstv acci have already paid twice for showmax.

Taking away 115

Taking away 115, the only channel, that is mildly interesting... way to go DSTV!!!
No, way I want a premium subscription or Showmax. They both mediocre in content.

Customer service centre agents Are usles not one can talk english and speak delibritly soft like there no signal they cant even do change of banking Details ??? Phatetick is not even a word but end of month they want ure money usles im canceling

DSTV is the most disgusting company

DSTV is the most disgusting company. They are very good at taking your money at the end of the month, but that it where the good ends.
The fees are going up and yet there are channels disappearing. Or they put on 4/5 hours of one show.
The repeats are constant. The dubbed rubbish from China is awful. Wake up DSTV and give us what we are paying for.

Worst Service Charged Bill and Poor Service

It is just tiring to deal with incompetent people, I wanted to pay online and realised that I am double billed, when I call using my cell I will hold on so much that my pone bill amounts to what I must pay. I decided it is ok to be terminated, I got terminated few days later I get a call with an apology plus disconnection fee discount and told to pay R479, guess what, as I am about to process the payment, I must pay the R529 and this after I warned the lady of their unreliability. I called them, my phone bill was about R60 as I had to hold on to listen to the music, I decided to drop.

My family decided that I must pay it so that we continue with life, I do it for them and and I paid. If DSTV has 1000 000 customer and decides to scam R50 just from 80 000 they will have made themselves a whooping 4000 000, today I fell I am part of those.

I have never in my life experienced…

I have never in my life experienced such bad service like I did from Dstv. It's 48hrs and over R300 airtime and still no resolve. I did a change of ownership last month with no hassle so I know how to do it. I bought another to add to my name and here is where my nightmare begins. Eveytime a different consultant with different set of rules and regulations. It's going for 72hours and still no resolve..

Wifi data

Im cg oosthuizen recently one of the agents phoned me regarding the wifi,he offered me the 90 rand 25day 25night gb which was fine with me but since january i think that amount doubled which was VERY frustrating ..I then ask numerous agents on the streaming to please rectify the problem telling me theres no such thing as 90rand wifi data.As an only breadwinner i dont hav money to hand out left right and centre please i need answers who is gaining here and why making promises you cant keep....

Last month I was disconnected for…

Last month I was disconnected for almost a week yet the consultant said within 48hrs I'll be assisted.today is my second day without connection despite the efforts I took speaking to 3 consultants promising me the same thing that their team leader will call to assist me but none happened,worse part when I visit my profile using DStv self service there was no cancellation records and my subscription not even available on my profile record suprisingly one of the agents said I cancelled my subscription but couldn't give me the details on how I did that with a R550 charged on me as cancellation fee.not mentioning 3 subscriptions occured on my account for streaming.dstv system on streaming subscription doesn't warn you if you are subscribed.i even had to pay unnecessary payment using 1 voucher as it wasn't approving my subscription yet all 3 of them charged.the list is endless.Multichoice is operating like a scam because most of their charges are non refundable even if they cancel them they don't refund us.

Poor Service

i have been complaining the whole week of last week (from the 26 February 2023) regarding my DSTV Wi-Fi router is not working i even try self-service on WhatsApp. i even took the router to the nearest multichoice still to date i am not getting any help. each and every time i call the consultant comes with a new story the first one was the address, second one was the allocation of data. the first person who assisted me said she is escalating the matter, every time i call that was the case. the other one made me hold for an hour until the phone cuts of. I just need some advice as i enter in to the Second week without wi-fi what's going to happen moving forward.
