two years in a row i have had issues with Xmas orders

I placed an order December 6th hoping i would get this before Xmas. No chance. I tried engaging their chat service and it doesn't work. The chatbot is completely useless. Bad programming. all I received was two emails saying my order is delayed and that they are working hard to fulfill it. Can't they at least send me a partial order? no option for that. Complete fail as far as I'm concerned.

What is going on at Davids tea?

Like many others I ordered the end of November and as of 12/20 I still do not have my order nor has it been shipped. You cannot get through to any customer service to find out why or cancel your order. I am considering disputing the charge on my credit card as they charge you when you order not when the order has shipped. Long time customer who will never order from them again. I know things are tough this time of year but 21 days waiting for my order to be shipped is to much.

Horrible service

Horrible service. Ordered weeks ago. No one to help on any contacts they list. I will never buy from David’s tea ever again.

Ridiculous mishandling of holiday orders

I've ordered from David's Tea a couple times before. The shipping was always quick and I enjoyed their teas. However, I made the mistake of ordering during the holiday season, as many of the other reviewers. I placed my order on 12/1 for a Secret Santa event on 12/13. I *just* received notification that my order shipped on 12/19, and I no longer want what was ordered. I called their customer service and left a voicemail (because it's impossible to get through to a live human on either the phone or their chat service), and said that I wanted to cancel my order. I of course never received a response and the item was obviously still shipped. I understand technical glitches and holiday delays. But the way that they have handled this throughout - giving customers no real info, not offering cancelations/returns/etc, and continuing to promote their sales when items purchased weeks ago still hadn't been fulfilled is absolutely ridiculous and borderline fraudulent. I used to recommend David's Teas to fellow tea drinkers, but I will now warn them against it.

Customer service is ATROCIOUS

Customer service is ATROCIOUS. Items ordered seem like they are in stock while they get your payment....then guess what? Nothing in stock , no return calls, no idea of shipping time frame.

You guys are pathetic and don't deserve to be in business. Back to Amazon Prime for me !!!

NEVER ORDER FROM DAVID'S TEA

Tried David's Tea order again and the order I placed on December 13, 2022 is still not here. Not only is it still not here it is "In Process". So not packed not even mailed. They say oooppss sorry no cancellation of orders we have you money so suck it up we will get it to you when we feel like it. This delay due to them being "too busy" is not on their website to warn you that nope no gonna get your parcel for Christmas. Then if you want to call they send you on a merry go round of leave a message, you can't even hold for a conversation as they just disconnect you after 10 min. David's tea does not allow you to cancel your order and they will not help you. Soooo good luck last time I order from David's

Worst Customer Service

I ordered on December 4 and still my order hasn’t arrived
They continue to send out emails about ordering, current offers and sales, etc when they can’t even send out the orders they have.
The worst customer service, you can’t call for an update and all you get is the same continuous email saying your order is delayed.
Unbelievable service…. The worst

David's Tea's problem is their management doesn't care about you their customer.

This company is terrible for all of the reasons below and above. The expression the fish rots from the head is the case here. The CSRs and the warehouse staff can't affect this companies performance. The management is the problem and they do not care about their customer base and it comes out in each of their sales transaction. If they valued their customer they would correct their internal issues. They just care more about their dollars then their employees or their customers.

I ordered a gift December 12th from…

I ordered a gift December 12th from David's tea. It said it would be shipped within a few days. Now I go on the website 2 days ago and it says it's being processed. I go on this morning and it tells me I have no recent orders. They charged me took my money will not speak to me been on their chat line for about 2 hours waiting for somebody to talk to me. Nothing. Call their number ask to leave a message I've left more messages than I can tell you and nobody responds. Where is my money or my gift? Somebody is not going to have Christmas because David's tea appears to be very irresponsible in their online orders. Hoping this Sparks somebody to pull their head out of their backside and respond to their customers concerns.!

Bad customer service

Same as everybody else: ordered 3 weeks ago, no update, no way to contact them, the tea won't be here before Christmas. They are supposed to offer you an experience, their teas are pretty expensive. Yes, they offer you an experience, but a bad one! Will never order again!

Poor Customer Service and Product Design

I do love this company's tea - but as others have stated, their customer service is atrocious. I've been waiting over two and a half weeks now for my 'Black Friday' sale items, with no ETA on when they will ship. You can't reach customer service. They changed from letting you stay on hold for 30 minutes, to only 10 minutes before they disconnect you and force you to call back again. There is no email contact form. How can you have a modern company with no email based customer service? I'll be leaving town soon without my shipment. I just hope my order doesn't arrive while I'm out of town.

And to make things worse - they're still tweeting out things like this, 8 days ago, when they know their shipments are backed up by 3 weeks:

"@davidstea Last-minute shopping to do? Take it from our HQ crew, these tea gifts are a guaranteed hit."

I also don't recommend their 'slide lock' travel tea bottles. They're tall, thin, and top heavy - prone to falling over on a daily basis. This has two problems. One: it causes the lid to crack and break. And Two: it causes the internal tea filter to break loose and spill the tea leaves into your tea, giving you mouthfuls of tea leaves when you drink. And even if you avoid cracking your lid, the button itself to open the bottle will break. Very poorly designed bottle. Also: the designs on the bottles are not durable - they scratch and scuff almost instantly.

Do not order from David’s Tea

They are terrible! I have no idea if I am supposed to get a different Christmas present. There is no update, you cannot email, the chat bot has no answer, even their voicemail says they can’t do anything and they can’t give me any update, and they don’t call back, and they don’t answer the voice mail. So terrible! I filed a PayPal dispute for a refund. Never will I ever order again!

Untrustworthy Company

Very poor customer service. Offers promotions but don’t have the proper infrastructure to support the onslaught of order, leaving customers in the dark about their orders. Really poor job David’s tea!!!
Don’t offer promotions or deals that you can’t fulfill. Shows lack of integrity.

company is vapor-ware

company is vapourware. they fulfilled a portion of our order, but charged fully for it. No way to contact them, chatbot is beyond ridiculous. No email and phone call on hold for 30 minutes then we get disconnected. Done this twice. David's Tea has sucked away 1 hour of my life.
Every company with a chatbot should be avoided in my opinion. They all suck, this one is king.
Avoid David's Tea all all costs.

David’s tea not able to fulfill online orders

If you are trying to place an order with David’s tea - do it at your own risk. I placed two orders. One of them was cancelled, they didn’t notify me, just cancelled it. I only found out later by trying to check on the status. Still waiting on my second order, it’s saying ‘processing’ ten business days after I placed it.
There is virtually no way to contact them, there is no phone number and the roboagent just drops the chat without resolving any issues. No live agents available. I believe they experience significant problems after closing almost all stores, and their ‘virtual’ business model doesn’t really work.
I will never order through them again.

Buyer beware!

Please check the reviews before ordering from this company. Their tea is good, the service is terrible. I ordered $40 worth of tea for a stocking 2 weeks ago, the order still says “processing” the online chat bot is as helpful as a heart attack. Judging by the other reviews this company is in trouble. I would use your hard earned money elsewhere.

its not even worth a 1 single star the worst company ever it has started to seem like a scam they charged me 198 dollars pretty quickly order placed on November 19 today its dec 12 and I have been trying to contact them via phone nd their stupid chat bot no reply I have let voicemails no callbacks the is so bad on companies part as the order was supposed to be part o a gift basket or my aunt who just got back rom her treatment at hospital and she loves tea and now it was a big mistake and my money is stuck and they have been of no help and no one replies or cares never buy from them a company should be permanently close bloody scammers

DavidsTea is NOT a trustworthy company! You have deposited my funds without providing me and every other consumer with their products. SHAME ON YOU!!!!

Worst customer service experience ....

I tried calling their customer service number 1, To reset my password (tried to reset my password online.. two weeks later I still had not received the password reset link). 2, Inquiring about the status of my order placed on 11/26 and 12/04. I understand this is their busy season. However, it's been two weeks and I still haven't received my orders. Furthermore, when you call their CS number 1(855) 702-3006 you are placed in a 30 minute waiting queue, BUT!!! it drops the call 10/15 mins before the 30 30-min time is up. I STOPPED ordering from their site when I realized they had not emailed me any tracking/shipping notification. DavidsTea is NOT a trustworthy company! You have deposited my funds without providing me and everyother consumer who placed their orders during BlackFriday weekend.

DAVIDsTEA has a market cap or net worth of $20.26 million as of December 11, 2022.
