I can hand on my heart say that dealing with Creditfix has been one of the most depressing , stressful and frustrating experiences I have ever had with a company.

Due to being diagnosed with cancer I subsequently received a critical illness insurance payout which meant I would need to settle my Iva early.

After obtaining a settlement figure, this included statutory interest on top of all the debt and the fees for setting up and running the Iva.

I may add this was not something that was ever explained would be the case when I initially set up the Iva.

To top it of Creditfix have included a £1,000.00 debt that was not in my name when I took out the Iva and I am having a nightmare trying to get Creditfix to accept this is not my debt, almost to the point that I feel they are intentionally acting fraudulently playing on my vulnerability.

At a time when I am having chemo-radiation on a daily basis, I am just after a resolution from Creditfix to settle my Iva fairly, so I have a clear picture of the funds available to spend on additional treatment and day to day necessities.

Creditfix really have made me feel extremely depressed and hopeless at a time I already feel down 😔.

I had a failed Iva my fault I know, but I have sat down with all my paperwork and discovered my balances are either the same as they started or in quite a few of them had increased amounts owing, I also had to call one of the creditors up to query a debt only to find out that it wasn’t my debt that they had given me details of but broke data protection by giving me someone else’s information
It’s going to take a while to sort this one out. Keep clear of creditfix

i completed my IVA almost 1 year ago now i have creditors that are refusing to take this off my credit file after talking to various company's i was advised my IVA company should deal with this however this company have done absolutely nothing , i have chased this up on several occasions all iv been told is not to chase anything however i cannot continue my life like this , id avoid this company !!1 having to make complaints to my IP just to get a response from them .... do not give a dam about people once they have the money out of you

Absolutely useless call center ask them a simple thing they just give same answer over and over I have been told by 3 off my creditors that they have heard noughting from gredit fix and I have been with them nearly a year but one thing they are good at is collecting your payment each month the girls in the call centre totally blank u when u ask something they just don't reply and keep u waiting 4 or 5 minutes before they reply bloody shabby firm I was a mug and went with them don't u fall for it all they want is your payment each month they don't give a rats about their customers

Really disappointed with creditfix the right hand doesn't know what the left hand is doing . Wanted a final settlement they said it would be 30 days from the creditors meeting . Creditors meeting still not happened and its 54 days since we requested final settlement . Meanwhile keep sending me threatening messages which they've told me to ignore. Not good enough creditfix. Very unfair during a cost of living crisis when I am trying to organise my finances

they assist only to debtors, not creditors, they told me this as i was a creditor.

I have applied for IVA. They start charging me immediately. For couple months they kept postponing creditors meeting. After 3 months, my application has been cancelled. They haven't even tried to inform me about situation. And still kept charging me through their app. Once I deleted the app, straight away start getting emails with offers again.

The woman I tried to speak to constantly interrupted me and would not let me speak a full sentence! He had a foreign accent and I had difficulty understanding her however he was strongly verbal and would not let me finish a sentence. I put the telephone receiver down as he would not let me speak. Creditfix charges are outragious and hidden , I thought it was free help and wasn’t informed until to late to withdraw and has made my situation 100persentworse. Advice to anyone coping with dept Do NoT USE CREDITFIX !!!!!

I saw an advert on Instagram for a company called Mum's With Debt, so I completed the short survey and was accepted. Within minutes I received a call from CreditFix, saying they received my details and was giving me a call to go over everything. I told them I just wanted a rough idea of how much debt I could write off. They took some details then passed me to someone who would look at my case. The call last around 40 minutes but I ended the call as they wanted so much information from me. I even said at one point that I wasn't signing up to anything and I just wanted a rough idea. Before they could tell me how much debt they could write off, they said they needed copies of my last few months payslips. At this point I said I wasn't comfortable with all the information they needed and I'd like to terminate the call. I also requested erasure of all the data they held for me. The guy said he would arrange that and I asked for confirmation of it, which he said he would send me but I'm not going to hold my breath.

The person I spoke to was polite but I just didn't feel right about how much they wanted from me, plus I read these reviews during the call and it panicked me.

As a creditor I thought you might like to hear from the other perspective. It took Creditfix YEARS to even accept me as a creditor, and finally when they cancelled the IVA, guess how much I received? £1.40. After being owed £1000. Seems like they kept all the money themselves. Certainly none got passed onto the people who were owed it.
That aside, their communication was dire- often never replying to my emails and then replying nonsense. Avoid at all costs.

Had a debt of just over 6k over the 60 months of payments plus the PPI payments I was awarded I ended up paying back over 10k. Don't believe this have some of the debt written off. Better to make agreements with the creditors yourself

Dreadful company. On hold forever every time I call resulting in me putting the phone down. Again today they say they can not get into the case I am calling about (I had the same answer 4 weeks back). There is no customer service. I am in touch with them to find out about getting money back from a tradesman who took my elderly mum's money and never completed the work - and he is now on an IVA via CreditFix, Are CreditFix even a legitimate company? As bad as the scammer who took the money in the first place. I would not bother going anywhere near this company.

Dishonest even from the very beginning, they have no ability to pick the phone up and to calls emails, the dishonesty comes from the very top an hour god's earth they have managed to get past the regulator is beyond me the license should be removed immediately they have caused me nothing but distress, and when you've got senior managers dealing with their own complaints tells you everything you need to know about the company!!

Would give zero stars if I could nothing but lazy scum sent multiple text messages saying iv failed to send in annual review forms ring up they say oh yes we got it don’t worry next day another one they never reply to any emails avoid at all costs

Scam, beware after a while they will do everything to fail you and all money you paid in will be lost, you will stay with nothing and your debts will have to be paid again.

If I knew what I was getting into, I wouldn't have bothered. E.g I was accepted for car finance on the condition that creditfix would.ok it. 3 weeks later I have heard nothing. I emailed them to ask how they are proceeding. I got back such a bitchy email. Thanks to them the finance Company has had to take me off the books. Plus if you are looking to rent privately forget it. I asked if I could pay more as to end my IVA early, the told me.i would.have to pay 10 grand for a 6 grand agreement...oh I still get threatening letters from one of the companies they are supposed to be ealing with. Absolutely rubbish. My advice is IVA is like a Blackhole avoid it if you can

I have a letter confirming that I do not have to pay an extra year and two months of paying five years worth now they’re saying I’ve got to pay another year but I live in a mobile home no equity but apparently I agreed to this over the phone, I’m 71 get confused, but the choices was my kids pay it off equity from the Home or E extra year I didn’t realise the phone call was legally binding. Can anybody help please?

4. Ask to have negative entries that are paid off removed from your credit report
You may have a series of late payments on your credit report, or perhaps an old collection account that’s since been paid off still shows up. If this is the case, ask to have them removed. (And if you do have a collection account that’s unpaid, make this a priority. Unpaid collection accounts can negatively impact your score.)
