If it was an option I would select zero stars not one.
We got this watch to help keep a relative with dementia safe and had nothing but problems with the watch, causing it to be more stressful and unsafe having the watch as opposed to no watch.
The signal was poor / non existent despite the watch being used in a town and not a remote area. It never tracked the wearer to their correct location and did not update in real time.
The watch battery was poor.
The help we got from the company was poor and not transparent. We were sold many promises that never materialised.
The timeframe to receive the refund for a faulty product and a contract that we no longer wanted due to the watch not working was completely unacceptable (more than a month and the process involved having to make contact with the company and prompt for the refund regularly).
A very poor product, I would not recommend it to anyone.

Thank you for your reply. However I do not think there is anything to look into. I am reporting that the product does not work, there is very poor customer service and the amount of time I had to wait for the refund was unacceptable.

I bought the CPR Guardian 3 and signed up for their bronze service plan on 02/02/2023 unfortunately the signal was almost non existent despite living in a town (not rural) I therefore had to cancel my 12 month contract on 04/02/2023 as per consumer contracts regulations 2013 since then I have contacted CPR Guardian by email a number of times and received no reply then this morning they took a second monthly payment of £14.99 from my bank.

I am pleased to say that this matter has now been resolved satisfactorily and I have received a full refund.

This product is ideal for our requirements as a single long press on the watch triggers a text and phone call. The only drawback is the battery life, which requires daily charging but the location feature is not crucial for our needs. We are pleased with its functionality and hope it remains reliable

I purchased the CPR Guardian watch for my husband who has dementia. It will provide peace of mind if he should lose his way and means he can stay in contact. I paid for the set up and year in advance contract. Everything worked very smoothly, the watch arrived within a day or two ready to go. The sales team and customer service could not have been more helpful. So far we are finding the watch very easy to use, the app works well and the battery life seems very good. I also particularly like the magnet charging system. Would highly recommend

I purchased the GPS watch for my brother who has dementia last June, it worked perfectly well and was very helpful when he went wandering, my problem is that I paid the monthly service charge for the full year up front and my brother had to go into care in October. I contacted the Company 30th November to request a refund and was told this would be processed, called back 16th January as it still hadn't been processed and was informed that it was probably not done due to staff shortages and would be done. Sent message to them today via their online service and no reply.
An update to the above, I eventually received a part refund of 5 months, after numerous emails even though they agreed I was due 7 months, had to chase again and again and then sent them proof this was agreed and eventually got it, frustrating, time consuming and unfair how they treat the vulnerable in the community given that is who they provide services to. Three and a half months it took them to pay out when I was told it would be received in two weeks. At no time did I get a reply to a query from Customer Services, they only got in touch to tell me a refund was processed, had to cc another person I was dealing with to get an answer and threaten them with updating review. I actually asked if they were going down the tubes as service was so bad!

I bought the CPR Guardian watch for my husband who has Parkinson’s Plus and prone to falls.
I paid for the full set up service which was initially disappointing as it came without a Sim number, and I was then given the wrong number by support which delayed the set up.
Once a different support person helped out the service was exemplary and the watch has given my husband greater confidence to go out on his own, knowing the fall monitor would alert me, and I can use the GPS to track him.
If not for the initial set up problem this would have been a 5 star review.

Fantastic customer service, Caroline in the sales team was fantastic and very helpful. Steve in Tech support was very helpful too and supported us with navigating the aap. The team will call you back when they say they will.
The watch arrived in time, simple to set up and use and gives you a real peace of mind. Fall detection works well, emergency sos call works fab and the aap is so useful to know where our elderly father is. Well worth the buy.

The watch was easy to set up and use by my sister in law. Support desk were quick and helpful on the on occasion I needed assistance.

The Guardian III works great. I can see exactly where my mother is at all times and she can contact me by pressing the red button. Not complicated at all.

Simply the best thing I have ever bought for my Dad I know he’s safe wearing his watch ( and I can check where he is too)

Excellent customer service and lovely looking effective watch. My father is very happy wearing his watch ( and he’s always been a watch man and wouldn't wear other wrist alarms) and my family are very relieved that he has at last an effective safety detection device.

Brilliant watch! Saved us already twice when mum went wandering and only had it two weeks.

I bought the watch for a friend in August and to speed up the process used my own credit card to make the purchase. I have tried to amend the direct debit to his account, but despite saying that they would get back to me they never have. Another DD arrived today. I also asked a technical question last month which remains unanswered.

Great customer service. The watch does everything it says it should. The date on the watch was in Chinese which could have been sorted during pre-setup but Tom was very helpful, phoned us up quickly and sorted it all out and answered all our questions whilst we checked the fall detection etc.. 5 star service.

From the very first time we spoke to a member of your staff we were completely assured that all would be well. We needed to purchase a replacement mobile phone & your colleague Steve has just talked us through the setup & it now works satisfactorily. Thank you

We've only had the Guardian 3 for the last 10 days and it has been awesome ! I bought it for my mum who suffered from a brain aneurysm, had 2 operations and was released from hospital after 11 months. She's showing signs of dementia but fully functional, albeit slow and easily distracted !

The watch has given us the confidence to leave her on her own, giving her a bit of independence over the weekends to see her aging friends and slowly getting her social life back. Something I didnt think would be possible.

The screen developed a fault, but Steve at Tech Support was very helpful and immediately send out a new replacement (hopefully she'll receive it tomorrow). The charger is a little flimsy but I believe there is a better charger dock you can get for it too.

Based in wales, answered calls very quickly, phoned back when they said they would, sorted all the problems out quickly.

Friendly and helpful.

The watch itself is fine but the service is not.A few times it's got no data for family to check in on our dad. Trying to get a response from the company is like pulling teeth. Been trying for 3 months to change the direct debit date, had tickets issued to respond....and no response.
