Fabulous service love my hob. Free pans and griddle a bonus
I was looking for a induction hob but want a good one. Did loads of reading on the pros and cons and decided Neff was exactly what I wanted and wanted flexzone. Checked out pricing etc and cookers and ovens was the most competitive and free pans and griddle were a bonus. I was going to buy some so really saved money. Delivery efficient even the driver was friendly and helpful. Roll on my new kitchen One of my friends is stArting. Kitchen project I immediately sent her cooker and ovens link

My hob was the best buy online that I could find but I didn't realise what an excellent customer-focused company I was buying from. I would definitely recommend Cookers and Ovens and will use again. I could not have wished for a better service and was phoned the day after ordering to arrange the delivery. Excellent - 5 stars

Not informed of delay in despatch at point of purchase
I placed an order for a rangemaster cooker on 28 July and was informed that I would be contacted by email regarding a delivery date . I was informed by email within 48 hrs, but disappointingly the earliest that the oven was expected in the warehouse was the 11th Sept. I think this should of been mentioned when I made the purchase and then I could of decided to wait or shop else where. I still have no delivery date, so my kitchen is on hold.

Thank you for your review. I appreciate your frustration with not being able to get a delivery date at the time of order. We are working with Rangemaster to try and integrate our website in with their computerised stock system which is not proving to be a particularly quick or easy task due to the different platforms involved. With Rangemaster making over 1000 variants of their cooker holding one of each in stock is an impossibility and the delay was as explained in our email exasperated by Rangemaster's factory being closed for Industrial summer shutdown. We have as promised done all we can to get delivery through quicker with your cooker now being due on Monday 1st September a week ahead of schedule.
I hope all goes to plan with the kitchen

All I can advise potential customer's reading this review is that if date is critical to call us first we are open 8.30-5.00 Monday to Friday and 9.00-12.30 on Saturdays and can check availability within a minute from Rangemaster's live stock system if it's a model we don't physically have in stock.
Cooker great, delivery poor
I was very pleased when I ordered my Rangemaster Classic 100 Cooker. I selected a three man delivery which I was happy to pay the extra charge for as I live in an apartment in an old converted rectory with 18 steps to the front door which I clearly indicated when I ordered. I was contacted with a 2 hour delivery slot and the cooker arrived in that time slot on a Thursday. So far so good but unfortunately the instruction regarding the need for 3 man delivery had not reached the 2 man delivery team who arrived in the van, who said they would have to take the cooker back to their depot, which they duly did. Having disconnected the old cooker which I had arranged for them to take for recycling, and booked an electrician to connect the new cooker it caused a great deal of inconvenience as the next delivery date I was offered was the following Monday. Whilst the order process went smoothly I think the communication between the company and its couriers needs addressing or if it was a problem within the courier company they use perhaps they need to choose a different one.

Thank you for taking the time to write a review. We were as disappointed as yourself with the failed delivery on the Thursday. We had clearly stated on the delivery booking that a three man crew were required as the cooker needed to go up 18 steps. On investigation with the delivery company it was a fairly new employee who had booked your delivery in and had missed the three man delivery instruction having seen the word induction he assumed wrongly it was a hob not a cooker. I have been advised that additional training has been provided to prevent this happening again. It is regretful that your postcode is only covered on Mondays and Thursdays and that they could not reschedule delivery for the following day. I can only apologise again for the confusion and inconvenience and hope that you are now enjoying your new Rangemaster.

Good personal service.
When I tried to a Rangemaster built under side by side double oven at the start of August , no one had any in stock and the factory was closed . But the sales woman contacted Rangemaster and managed to obtain the only one at the factory thanks to their good working relationship with the company. They were also able to offer us a choice of delivery and were able to change that with no fuss when our kitchen project was delayed.

Easy ordering and free delivery
We were looking for a Wok ring for our new Neff Hob - having searched many websites, this one was by far the best as there was no delivery charge - we live in Scotland and they are based in Lichfield; very pleased. Other sites are saying free delivery within 20 miles of M25 - well, that certainly excludes us and as this item is small we find it difficult to have to shell out £5.95 for delivery. We believe the wok ring will not be a heavy item. Whilst we do understand delivery charges being levied for heavier items but not in this instance. Also, thanks to many other reviewers, we were persuaded by their positive feedback to give this company a chance. We have not received our goods yet but thought we would leave our experience so far. Will update once the product is in our hands.

Best price that I could find and excellent customer service
I bought a Neff hob with free saucepans, apart from being the best price they were the only website I found that delivered the pans at the same time, others had complicated deals where you had to claim the saucepans after delivery of the hob.
Customer services were helpful replying to my questions accurately and speedily.

Great product unconvincing delivery
Great cooker at the best price we could find... Not sure who provides the delivery services but for £60 I got a nervous hour long comedy sketch of 3 blokes unsuitably equipped and dressed to man handle the cooker into the kitchen.
Flip flops really aren't acceptable footwear when lifting a cooker in excess of 200kg.
I think it was more luck than anything that they got it into the house with an injury to themselves or damage to the cooker.

Thank you for your review which most certainly raised a few interesting questions! It appears the driver in flip flops had been suffering from an infected foot and had gone with the drivers literally as a spare pair of hands on the proviso that for health and safety reasons upon leaving the delivery vehicle he had to put on his safety boots. As your delivery was a two man delivery only there was no need for him to have involved himself, so sounds like a classic "two many cooks..." scenario. Usually the delivery service is a very professional and slick service so I can only apologise and the delivery company have spoken sternly with the driver involved.
On the plus side the cooker was delivered on time and safely. I hope you are enjoying your new cooker and have many years of pleasure from it.

A very good service from start to finish!
From ordering it was an easy process & good communication after our order was placed, I was notified of the courier & when the job was dispatched & then a time slot for delivery, the delivery was very good & unpacked in front of me so I could check it was correct so all in all we were very impressed!

It is always pleasing to receive such positive feedback, especially regarding delivery which is the one area outside of our control. The delivery team we use offer a very professional service taking the utmost care of particularly fragile appliances, they will always unpack the appliance and give customers the opportunity to fully inspect the appliance and even take away the packaging and also the previous appliance for recycling if requested at time of order. The timed delivery slots save wasting a whole day in the house as we all lead such busy lives. I'm glad you had such a positive experience and thank you for taking the time to share it with others.
