Like with all solicitors nothing happens quickly but our experience with Convey law, who we have used on a few occasions now was good and everything you'd expect when purchasing a house or land. Like with all solicitors if you're quick at returning everything given to you to complete then they act in a timely manner.

They mainly deal via email which i would say is the easiest way to communicate with them, getting back to you within the next working day most times. You can phone but they're a firm that deals more efficiently using emails otherwise you schedule a phone call which is the simplest way to talk directly with your conveyancer.

Our process was complicated due to issues on the sellers side but our conveyancer Alana was informative and knowledgeable throughout completing each stage as quickly as is possible when dealing with other clients at the same time and once able to proceed acted as expected in a timely fashion.

Overall very happy with the service Convey Law gave us and we would highly recommend them.

This Company claims an average conveyancing time of 15 weeks but it my case it took them just over 36 weeks to complete a seemingly straightforward sale of my flat to my sitting tenant with no chain.
From the outset I was never assigned a conveyancer but instead had to liaise with various assistants.
When you phone this company it feels like you are calling a call centre and it is often difficult to get to speak to the person dealing with your case and it was often the next day before my call was returned.
The assistants were seldom proactive and slowly reactive and I had to keep phoning to push for progress.
It was only as a result of complaining to a a couple of managers that after 26 weeks I was finally assigned an experienced conveyancer who was very helpful and managed to finally complete some 10 weeks later.
Due to this sorry drawn out process my tenant lost his mortgage offer and because the property was valued at a lower rate by a new lender he had to reduce his offer by several thousand pounds.
All in all this was an extremely frustrating and costly experience and I really regret instructing Convey Law.

We instructed Convey Law on 1 June 2026, sold our house, and were happily settled into our new home by 25 August 2026, just 12 weeks and 1 day later!

Convey Law have been great and we've had a pretty smooth experience, Jasmine Jones has been in contact with us often and any help we needed or questions she has replied promptly and clearly. The only improvement I could see is the portal they use for information like bank accounts/finances and ID checks, it just felt a bit clunky and could do with smoothing out, in my opinion! Buying a house is always going to be a stressful experience, but Jasmine Jones was assigned to us to help see our purchase went through. We was great at keeping us updated with weekly updates. When the final weeks arrived for completion of contracts she was super responsive and didn't shy away from picking up the phone and settling our concerns..

I honestly cannot recommend Zara highly enough. She has been absolutely incredible throughout the purchase of our family home and went above and beyond to get us to completion.

Buying this house means an enormous amount to me and my family, and after months of stress, Zara got us there. I genuinely don’t think I could have had a better solicitor looking after us.
