Caroline has been really helpful throughout the process, this was my first time buying a house and she answered all my questions (there was a few). She kept me updated on the exchange and completion, I’ve really appreciated her help throughout the whole of this process.

I used Conveyancing Direct for the purchase of my house as I had Dealt with them for a house I wanted prior to this. The sale fell through and as advertised, I was not charged. When I found my new house I asked Conveyancing Direct if I could deal with Poppy Newcomb again as she had all my previous information and she was absolutely brilliant last time.
The vendors were on a very tight time scale and Poppy made it happen!
She helped me every step of the way and always answered calls and emails promptly.

Overall, I had a great experience with Conveyancing Direct.
There was an initial teething problem caused by what appeared to be an administrative error, which meant my emails were not getting through. This was worrying at the time, but once the issue was resolved, the rest of the experience was excellent.
Christopher handled my conveyancing and was brilliant throughout. He was knowledgeable, completely in control of the process, and always gave me clear and honest advice. I was particularly impressed by the level of detail he picked up when reviewing the property, including issues that needed to be addressed.
He was easy to contact, kept me informed at every stage, and was very reassuring throughout the process. I cannot praise him highly enough.
Although the initial issue might normally have led me to give four stars, the conveyancing itself was handled so well that the overall experience fully deserved five.

The absolute worst experience ever, if I could give no stars I would. Was unfortunate enough to have the person buying my flat use this absolute joke of a company. In particular Gregory Jones was the case handler and should not be practising. Made an already stressful time 1000% worse and almost cause the chain to collapse due to his incompetence.

Sale was agreed on 4th December, with my buyer being a first time buyer, should have been simple. Took until 12th March for the initial enquiries to be made.

After months of chasing and delays, and with my mortgage offer expiring 30th June, we finally exchanged on 10th June with completion on the 12th. No acknowledgement was made as to the urgency of the deadline. If mine or my buyers offer had expired it would have cost us thousands and likely collapsed the chain. Not that Greg cared!

At no point have they offered any explanation as to why they are so useless nor an apology for causing such a delay for their own client, myself, and my vendors.

I would avoid at all cost, even if they appear cheaper at the start it is not worth the additional stress.

For anyone who notices their buyer/ seller is using this company I would urge them to consider insisting they change.

An absolute joke from start to finish. I am only glad to finally be rid of them.

When buying the same flat it was agreed before the first covid lock down and still managed to complete quicker than this.

The combination of being able to speak to an assigned Property Lawyer in person when needed, and the practicality of the portal uploading successive documents/tasks to be completed, created a fast, efficient and user-friendly experience. Very different to the traditional conveyancing method we have experienced in the past - in this case, 6 weeks to completion of purchase, when compared with previous experiences extending to more than 12 weeks.
