Myself and partner were referred to Conveyancing Direct as we were selling two properties and purchasing one together. We were assigned Jan B as our Senior Property Lawyer. From the start, Jan’s communication was timely, practical and on the same level as us. Jan has the best sense of humour which through past experiences we have not had with solicitors. Jan was a joy to deal with. We had complications and had to complete and do a remortgage 6 months later. We could have chosen the lenders panels solicitors but as Jan was so good and knew us, our situation and we knew how fun she was to work with, we paid to have her do our remortgage and other legal work. We specifically asked for her and we were lucky enough to be assigned her. Again a flawless and stressless process.

This company was used by our buyers. There did not seem to be any specific person with responsibility hence, communication was very poor and very slow. They were chased by our solicitor and the estate agent and their client with little or no progress made. We were informed that they are a volume conveyancing service which may explain the lack of personal contact available and length of time to complete. There was no upward chain and we sold to first time buyers.

I really appreciated Tom from this company, who has been very accommodating in my awkward circumstances (being away from the UK for most of the sale process). Once everything was set up, the process was made clear and he was very helpful with any questions/issues that I had.
