What difference does a number make as long as the correct oil is used ,Do NOT go near a used C4 pure tech Useless car ..£750 bill with no help..

DO NOT BOTHER VERY RUDE

Absolutely unacceptable customer service skills and false information given no refund for what asked me to do and pay for. My car was recalled for takata bag recall last year August my car was due to be fixed in December in which the battery went flat key for would not stop it as all electrics stopped working I had rac come out to disconnect battery to stop it and was advised by a citreon customer service advisor to get car to garage and sorted before the date of airbag fitting I paid 240 pound and now they refusing my money back. Also I had obtained for all calls to be recorded just spoke to case lady who did not listen to me and tell me I can not have refund as car over 5 year old. She hung up and its absolutely not acceptable do not buy a citreon car as they very rude not helpful and its taken 3 months for a call back. DO NOT BOTHER THEY DO NOT KNOW WHAT THEY DOING

I have never known worse service

I have never known worse service. Citroen will sell you a car that is 3 years old but not tell you it is on the brink of collapse. We were sold a time bomb and the car we have had for 6 months is now undriveable. Citroen are doing everything they can to avoid paying for repairs when they have extended warranty to cover the exact issue with our car- because it is a known issue- We have a young family and are pregnant but Citroen have left us without a car for weeks on end, no courtesy car offered and would be happy to see us waiting for a bus to get to the Maternity Ward.

Paid for Citroën connected services in…

Paid for Citroën connected services in full and they simply do not work. For around three months, the app has reported that my vehicle is not under network coverage when the car is switched off, meaning remote features such as climate control cannot be used. The car is used every day so it is not sitting unused.

I have been contacting customer support throughout this time, providing logs and all requested information, yet the responses are always the same. I am repeatedly told they are waiting for the technical team and that there is no update and no timeframe for a fix.

For a paid service, this level of support is extremely disappointing. Months later, I still have no resolution and no refund. It feels like I am being fobbed off while a feature I paid for remains unusable.

This has to be the worst car company

This has to be the worst car company. They failed to notify me of a serious recall. Subsequently, the car broke down in a dangerous situation. It was over seven hours before I was rescued. That episode left me seriously out of pocket and despite requests, there was no reimbursement. They have an app, supposedly to help manage the running of the car. This is not fit for purpose. There are so many flaws in it, I could not list them all here.

I was very impressed with Emily Lewis the New Vehicle Sales Executive she was very friendly and helpful with the issues my car had and also very knowledgeable. I would definitely recommend her to my friends and family

Citroen recall

Citroen recall. Absolutely appalling customer service. No car from July 2nd until September. No support, no compensation. How is this company allowed to get away with this. Everyone affected should have been compensated. I will never buy another Citroen again!

Arnold Clark told me a needed a new…

Arnold Clark told me a needed a new engine for £5500, just a week after passing its MOT and taking £1400 off me for a service.
Citroen refused to help at the start. Then after many many phone calls and emails they agreed to pay half. I had to transport my car from Scotland to Carlisle England at my own cost because Arnold Clark refused to fix it because I had lodged a complaint and no other non Arnold Clark Citroen garages in Scotland. No new engine needed. Just spark plugs and wet belt. Spark plugs were overdue before I even bought it. Arnold Clark told me in writing it wasn’t the wet belt !
Despite the awful treatment by Arnold Clark, Citroen could not have cared less and literally did nothing to help me. Even though the Citroen aircross is known for wet belt issues, oil problems etc. there was even a recall. I now drive a Toyota and it’s a great feeling to drive a reliable well made car. I would rather peel off my own skin than drive a Citroen again in my life time. Horrible car. Literally the worst car I’ve ever driven and I owned a fiat multipla at one point in my life !! Avoid Citroen and Arnold Clark and you will thank me one day !!

If I could give you zero stars I would. I reported a 2nd payment being taken from my account on the 3rd of February. I even sent you bank statements to prove this was the case - yet I am still waiting for an update and I am still waiting for a refund. This just isn't good enough. You were quick to take my money but awful to pay back to me what is mine. Terrible service for such a big company!!!!

Engine failure

I bought a 2019 Citroen Berlingo in 2021 from a Citroen dealership. Two year ago it suffered catastrophic engine failure and needed a replacement engine costing over £7000. In November last year, I received an urgent recall letter warning that a camshaft chain fault could lead to engine failure. I wrote to Citroen straight away asking them to reimburse me for the cost of my new engine and failed to get a reply or even an acknowledgement. Appalling customer service.

Horrendous company to deal with

Horrendous company to deal with. My c3 developed a reversing camera fault . Car is only 2 years old, still under warranty and servced at citroen dealer( wont be returning) Despite proving via photographic evidence they refused to admit the car was faulty... NEVER BUY A CITROEN unless you want hassle and to be treated with disrespect. AWFUL COMPANY WHOM ARE LOSING CUSTOMERS DUE TO CRAP CUSTOMER SERVICE.

If I could give 0 I would. I have a DS3 and got air bag fixed last year, DVSA is still saying there is an outstanding recall. I have been emailing and phoning over a week and they are not taking ownership. The lady I spoke to this morning would not let me talk, would not provide complaints and hung up on me, absolute disgrace.

DO NOT BUY A CITROEN CAR

In most circumstances you get what you pay for. I bought a used Citroen C4 2021 plate and the ECU has gone - vehicle barely works and doesnt accelerate - a very pricey repair.

I used one of Citroens recommended repair garages (EMG Croydon) who completely misdiagnosed my vehcile - spent loads of money and time on the repair only to hear back from Citroen there is nothing they can do. Even though they sent me a feedback form asking how their registered partner garage did.

There is no chain of accountability - Citroen do not have a process to follow up with an approved garage, so why have an approved garage in the first place. Then on top of thay the approved garage also doesnt have a regulator i.e. RMIF or Motor Ombudsman - so there is nobody to hold them accountable either.

More than poor from all fronts. Poor car, poor service, no line of accountability.

VERY POOR SERVICE

Was speaking to a " customer service " today 15.45...
He was very very unhelpful..
Wouldn't allow me to explain my problem..was very very dismissive...asked me for my details in a very dismissive manner and immediately tried to refer me to a dealer!
If I wanted to talk to a dealer...I would have phoned a dealer.
He now has all my details and when I pressed him on the reasons for all my information being taken only to refer me to a dealer..he hung up on me!!!
NOT QUITE WHAT I EXPECT FROM CUSTOMER SERVICE...

Outraged 😡

I am absolutely outraged with the fact that I have had this electric vehicle for only 4 Months, and twice it has broken down, and each time I have been told they cannot issue me with a courtesy car due to a small fleet. It is absolutely disgusting what I have been through especially as I suffer from Mental Health. I had to wait for over an hour in a freezing car before RAC turned up. Never will I use Citroen again and nobody else should either 😡😡😡

Got a new EC4 28th February 2025
It was a long time until I realised that the car was not fitted with windscreen wash jets as the weather was generally dry.
I initially emailed them a couple of times
They replied saying when is the best time to ring you.
I answered
They never called.
Two months and at least 10 phone calls later I am no further
Every time they say they will get my handler to contact me.....they don't
4 days ago a guy called Thomas said he'd refer it to his manager.
I rang today and a lady answered she said hold the line
It just went dead after 9 minutes
I rang back and an Easter European guy answered I could barely understand him.
He said hold the line.
A minute later he muttered unintelligibly and hung up.
For crying out loud all I want are two plastic water jets
I can fit them myself.
Non existent customer care
Absolutely appalling
One star is the least I could give
Zero stars would be more representative......😡😡

My Citroen c4 broke down on the 19th of December.i have had no courtesy car since then with no explanation.
It has Citroen warranty and I’ve been calling the customer service everyday since then only to be told no ones available and they’ll call me back they never did , until today the 5th of January To be told my car is not even being looked at till the 12th of January , asked about a courtesy car his reply was they can’t till it’s been diagnosed which is nearly a month without a car they simply don’t care and won’t even try and help you, they’ve had your money .so I’m stranded with no car with no help from them,absolutely disgusted really angry to be treated like this through no fault of my own 😡
Do not get get a Citroen and expect good service you won’t !!!
