CS-Direct enables me to manage my investments
CS-Direct and way the site manages my money gives me complete confdence. All the web-site information, the functions (e.g. buying, selling etc.) are very easy to manage; it enables me to monitor and track all my investments, payments in or out, dividends, income etc. Essentially, I enjoy managing my investments through this website.

Be aware of the time limits to draw money out
Let us face it, the Charles Stanley Direct site is complex from a customer point of view. So I needed help to navigate and used the chat facility. I was pleasantly surprised how quick the responce was. My reason for help was to navigate through to withdraw money. Slight niggle though, I was trying to draw cash out following a sell off of part of my shares. But as I was a day too soon, the option to withdraw was only shown as £0 to withdraw. It may have been better to include a timing when proceeds of a sale might be drawn.

Webchat Delivers
Webchat sorted out a classification error by CSD in just a few minutes. The security was wrongly showing up on the system as being ineligible for an ISA and I'd had no answer to my secure message for a week. So gold star to Ryan the webchatter, with the message handlers left watching from the sidelines.

The help desk support on a transfer…
The help desk support on a transfer activity was simply outstanding, from the first call and through to completion.
Their support, and very clear guidance, plus their ongoing updates was beyond first class.
This was not the first time I have had outstanding support from CL Direct and their help and dedicated activity teams,
If only other organisations were even 10% of what CSD are - sadly they're not.

High fees, PAINFULLY slow withdrawals - have the audacity to charge you £25 if you'd like your own money same day, limited stock/etf options.
Slow, frustrating, and outdated.
