Very poor telephone service especially…

Very poor telephone service especially when placing telephone trades in the US which I'm sure compared with other brokers is quite expensive. It would have been better if the online help (Callum?) had given me the appropriate number rather than the general telephone number to call.

Many thanks for your feedback which has been noted. Our dealers are able to trade in a wide range of international shares as well as place 'specialist' UK trades. They can be reached directly, but often such calls are first placed to the Helpdesk and then transferred to the dealers. Communication failure

A fund I hold was due to be merged with another but Charles Stanley failed to inform me. I discovered it myself and was too late to do anything about it. I had to embarrass an apology out of them.

CS Direct is a generally efficient and low-cost platform, with a good Helpdesk - particularly as the staff are anglophone and based in Edinburgh. The charges are sensible.
I would have given you 5/5, but I think your website slightly lets you down, largely because it is slow and clunky (eg to look at multiple accounts, you need to keep reverting to the 'My Accounts' page, which consumes quite a bit of time when I need to look at multiple accounts).

Absolutely shocking and abysmal…

Absolutely shocking and abysmal response consistently from customer care they don’t give a damn sell u the dream but what you really get is a big nightmare. They ripp you off left right centre. we would never again by Persimmions Home. Shocking workmanship throughout cheap and nasty materials used clearly stuff that don’t know what the hell they’re doing.
