I took my BMW to them for a hood inspection which they initially told me it was the load divider that was out of position and will be fixed for £96 then they came to inform me that Pump relay is out of order and needs replacing and it cost extra £312. I agreed to it and soon after I found out that pump relay cost £24 each from BMW which is £48 for 2 and it would take 15 mins to change it. I told them but they refused to do anything abt the price and i was charged £408 for 30mins of labour and £48 parts and I was told that I got a favour of £96 service that they sprayed lubricants on hood henges. I just want people to know and do their research before they agree with their extortionist cost.

In a word - IMPECCABLE. My BMW 3 Series roof suddenly stopped working - something I wanted to resolve urgently. Booked an appointment for the next day. Swift, efficient service, and a reasonable price to fix. Kudos to Gavin, Milli and Adam. The entire process was conducted professionally and fairly. The communication before, during and after was faultless. I have no qualms in recommending them, and will visit again for preventative measures.

My VW Eos folding roof stopped opening in the spring this year. I live near Glasgow and could not even find any garage in the whole of Scotland to take on the problem. As VW stopped producing that model in 2014, one even said VW in Germany would make a new hydraulic pump for £2,160 payable in advance without diagnosing that was in fact the problem. I found Cayman on the internet and made the 900 mile return trip this week. This coincided with visits to relatives in both directions. All the Cayman staff I contacted were rightly confident the repair could be done in one day. My cabriolet was fixed by 4pm.....and the honesty of the technicians was outstanding in that I did NOT need a new pump, only new switch control and some wiring, along with a roof service. The cost was about half what I was expecting. How's that for honest expertise and and service.

Absolutely excellent service from beginning to the end. All the people we dealt with were professional and friendly. They took the car in earlier than booked to keep it safe and dry, diagnosed fault promptly ordered the parts and the job was completed ahead of schedule, my wife now has her Ford Focus convertible back and is extremely satisfied. Will definitely use again if required and most definitely will recommend. Thank you once again for such a pleasant experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff at Cayman Auto Services. Had work done on the convertible roof of an Aston Martin and was very, very happy with it. Work was very tidy and reasonably priced. Would have no problem in recommending their services. Special thanks to Nicky and Dan.

Be in no doubt that the level of customer service you will receive either by email, phone or in person, is nothing short of exceptional. The team at Cayman are hugely motivated and deliver incredible customer service levels that make my Audi mechanic look like he's still living in a cave.
OK - so my 2009 Audi A4 Cabriolet developed a not-uncommon roof problem and despite being fully booked, Cayman found time to diagnose and repair it on the same day.
Richard greeted me outside on arrival and I knew immediately I was in safe hands. Adam the technician went the whole hog explaining how the repair was made and had lots of advice. Millie and Sophie were amazingly polite to chat with and answered my queries by email quickly and fully.
Summing up – however far you are travelling to get your pride and joy fixed, every mile and hour away from home will be worth it.

What a fantastic service
I found Cayman Autos through Google search, as the power hood on my SAAB 93 was stuck open. I did have to wait a month before I could get a booking and I can understand why.
The service offered was exceptional. All the staff I spoke to were very helpful and informative. They carried out the repair and also serviced the hood. As I had had a repair carried out they offered the service at half price - very nice gesture.
Cannot recommend highly enough

Alfa 939, hood would not complete its closing cycle. Consequently it would not lock down, the boot could only be opened manually and the windows would not fully close. The onset of torrential rain, left me with no alternative than to cover it all with a tarpaulin, not having a garage myself. So began my hunt for a local garage/mechanic or so called "specialist" to fix it. Waste of time. Fortunately the previous owner had used Cayman Autos before and recommended them. I booked in online with a thorough description of what my problem was and the earliest appointment was about 4 weeks or so away. Worth the wait. It was about a 4 hour roundtrip but just like all the excellent reviews, these guys know their stuff. A replacement for the part that was not working would have set me back about £1700!, so I was so relieved to find out that they could fix the problem without having to replace it...phew. All round from beginning to end, great service, very professional and wont go anywhere else now.

This company is brilliant. From the first phone call with an amazing lady who was really understanding, to Rich who met me and took my car through to be repaired to the wonderful lady who discussed the final bill with me and explained my options.
Very helpful and I would highly recommend this company. They quoted me a fraction of the Quote from Mercedes. I would like to give more stars if I could. I have a smart car and was really stuck. Thank you-

My first experience with Cayman Autos & cannot praise them enough for the service experience despite lockdown. DB9 roof had stuck open previously, they carried out a check, made recommendations to fix & completed same day including some new parts.

I went to Cayman Autos after some disappointing experiences elsewhere.
My first contact with them was with their receptionist, and she was very polite and helpful.
I went there and I saw a technician called Dan.
Hi checked the roof on my car
( Mercedes class E convertible )
And explained what the problem was.
I booked my car in and since then the roof of my car is perfect.
Dan is a very polite and knowledgable gay
I was so happy that I booked my girlfriend car too

Wow wow wow.... these guys are proper experts. Had an issue with my Jaguar XK folding roof, warning on the dash “hood not locked”. I hadn’t got a clue where to start. After taking it to my usual Jag go to place for a diagnosis he told me that it needs to go to a roof specialist. After scouring the internet for a week I decided to book it in at Cayman Autos. I was given an appointment at 8.30 in the morning for a diagnostic check. I travelled down from the midlands and dropped the car off and was told that I would have a call within two hours with the diagnosis and what needed doing to repair it. Sure enough, around 1 1/2 later I had a call telling me what the faults were and how much it would cost to rectify the faults. Once I agreed to go ahead I was told that my car would be done for 2pm. Sure enough, I returned to Cayman Autos and my car was ready. I was talked through what was done, how the faults were rectified satisfying me that I had taken it to the right place. Very highly recommend this company for any roof repairs to any make of car. A big thank you to the girls in the office who were at all times polite and professional and explained everything fully. Also a massive thank you to Adam for finding and rectifying the faults on my roof within a matter of a few hours. Well done guys.

This is the 2nd time that I've had to call on Caymans expertise, 2 totally different faults 2 years apart on my 12 year old Vauxhall Tigra roof. Exceptional service, diagnosed, rectified & serviced all in 3 hours. And the people are so nice, its a shame I cant give them TEN stars. Thank you Nick Perry.

First rate service from start to finish. Had issues with my Audi A4 roof, so booked in for a diagnosis. They kept me informed throughout the process and offered excellent advise as to the best course of actions to remedy the problems. Very friendly service and clear that they pride themselves on quality work and customer service satisfaction. I would not hesitate to recommend the company if you have issues with your convertible roof.

These guys definatally know there stuff took my eos in today with faulty roof and windows it was sorted within three and a half hours and had a roof service excellent workmanship and price definatally use again

Far exceeded my expectations. Everything was handled contactless and I felt very safe.
So grateful to have a fully functioning roof, which my local Vauxhall dealer told me would cost thousands to put right! And they didn't have the expertise to do the job and I would have to take it to a body shop to have the roof taken apart.
When I contacted Sophie at Cayman she assured me that they could help. The work was carried out same day and I was kept informed throughout the process and my vehicle was repaired and ready for collection within 3 hours.

Excellent customer service from start to finish received from Niki. Originally spoke to Vauxhall about an issue with my hard top roof malfunctioning, they quoted me £274 + vat just for a diagnostic test and informed me they couldn’t book me in until middle of August. I then got in touch with Caymans Autos who booked me in on a day that was convenient to me. Fixed my roof and came back with a price that was a hell of a lot cheaper than Vauxhall. I can not recommend them enough.
