BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS. This company has turned out to be full of scammers. Invoice gold weight is less than initial weight of gold for which payment was done, but despite contacting them several times for the refund they are not refunding the obvious amount and making all sort of ridiculous excuses, the most appalling of them all is calling their own emails Default email. Who will trust this company when they change their statements and don’t even accept their own official emails as proof ? If a company can make such fake claims and scam their customers I wonder how pure their gold and diamond quality is. Xclusive points is one of the biggest scam of their site and one of their agent also said that tax is also added to xclusive points. Never expected such fraud and poor service from a company which uses its name with Tanishq. WILL NOT BE PURCHASING AGAIN FROM THESE SCAMMERS.

I have recently spent more than 2 lacs on this site but their service provided is pathetic & appalling. This is more of a scammer site rather than jewellery site. They hardly care about their customers and Customer support agents are hopeless, shameless and give vague and illogical reasoning for wrong calculations on their own invoice. They do changes in the invoice and think customers are illiterate and don’t know basic maths. Despite sharing invoice and their own emails several times for gold weight discrepancy they have turned a blind eye to it. their calculations are wrong in the invoice still they are shameless in proving that the calculations are correct. Never had such bad experience from any jewellery store. Shopkeepers selling vegetables are more proficient in Maths than this so called jewellery company. I would also like to make people aware to check your invoices as these fraudsters do any sort of calculations and give illogical reasoning for the same. BEWARE OF THESE SCAMMERS!

SCAMMER IS THE ONLY WORD SUITABLE FOR THIS SITE. I recently purchased a ring from this store. final gold weight was less than the gold weight for which i made the payment initially. Irrespective of sharing proofs of invoice and email received by them they have turned a deaf ear to refunding me the amount, and making all sort of ridiculous and baseless excuses and even calling their own emails default. This company is doomed. Will not be purchasing again from these SCAMMERS. I wonder how tanishq let them add their name to this Fraud company.

What a scam. They are charging $25 shipping for refunded and exchanged items. If you got the wrong size ring or a defective product they will charge you $25 if the order is under $300 to send it to them, and also $25 to send back to you once they exchange or fix it. Absolute high robbery. I explained to them that charging $50 for shipping for an item that is $150 is not reasonable, but they refused to compromise.

This company is on with a scam and mending lots of money from their customers.They take the full payment for the product and deliver a fake local product that doesn't even cost ₹50-60. Afterwards they ask the customer only to file an FIR and bear all the charges for the fake product that was actually delivered by Caratlane - Shaya. They are big time thieves and are just not trust worthy. Do not invest your money here. They mentally harass the customer and keep asking the customer to file an FIR for the wrong product that was actually delivered by Caratlane - Shaya or else they will neither send you the product ordered or refund your money back. Be careful and don't invest your money here and help them being rich. I was not even willing to give them a single star but had no option.

If there was an option we would give this brand a negative rating. Appalling customer service, pathetic transparency and poor ethics. DO NOT go by whatever the sales staff tells you. They will give you all the sweet talk to make a sale. We were told that the points (money) we accumulate from our purchase can be used toward our future purchases. When we, subsequently, went to make further purchases we were told that 'their company policy' only permits prorated encashment depending on the value of our purchase. THIS WAS NOT SAID, either by their sales associate Mehak or their store manager Vikas!! it gets better after this. We got a call from Avantika from the Caratlane office. She said she was getting in touch to offer a 'resolution' to resolve the matter. After being explained what had transpired she told us that she will discuss the matter with her office and get back to us. SHE DID NOT CALL US BACK AS PROMISED. I called her to find out what had been decided by Caratlane to resolve the miscommunication by their staff. She HAD NO RESOLUTION AT ALL!!. She kept parroting that she could NOT DO ANYTHING BECAUSE THE COMPANY POLICY DOES NOT PERMIT IT EVEN AFTER ACKNOWLEDGING THAT THE STAFF AT CARATLANE , RAJOURI GARDEN HAD NOT EXPLAINED THE ENCASHMENT POLICY CORRECTLY!!! WHAT A PATHETIC COMPANY AND STAFF INDEED!!! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BUSINESS ETHICS!!!!!! BUYERS BEWARE.

They have the worst policies.
If you are thinking of investment never ever buy gold/diamond from Caratlane.
Even though the gold price increased exponentially but Caratlane has buy-back/exchange policy at the same price you bought (no matter at what rate you bought).
My experience:
One of my product which I bought at ₹24k has still the exchange value of ₹24k and buy-back even lesser by ₹800.
But in their app the same product is now showing 38k. What a joke !!
And what I found these days, for many products they have increased the making charge by 3 times in a span of one year or so.

Miscommunication and no delivery on the committed date and asked me to pay the difference. Disappointed by the sales team - Alisha, Chirag and Mahadev!

Second time having a bad experience will never recommend caratlane it to anyone

I am a regular customer of Caratlane and liked it's collection and services but when I exchange a ring and ordered other ring with extra payment or 16000, they send me a fake artificial ring. After lots of call and mails they are saying that that have packed the original product. This can happen at delivery partner end. And delivery partner is also denying.

They are also saying that they are investigating but nopositive response. Whenever I call they want extra time. After almost one month they are asking to file an FIR. I live in U.P. Most of people know how serious the police will for a 35000 k rs ring. Since I don't have a unboxing video they are indirectly trying to frame me. They make you helpless. They are not providing me any video of send or packaging the real products and talking very rudely.

I suggest never shop anything from Caratlane online. Only purchase from store. They don't care for customer satisfaction. They are Breaking my Tata Trust.

I have attached the photo of the ring I received. They are asking me to check it's authenticity. Each customer care conversation is depressing.

The service at Caratlane Velachery is excellent. The service personnel Ms Geetha had helped me with ease during the exchange of old gold.

A happy customer, every time I made a purchase. The designs are beautiful and amazing. I bought 2 ear rings and a Nose Pin in diamonds and they are really affordable.

Very bad customer service.. they didn’t want to help me at all.. they wanted to put off the call.. no help from WhatsApp help centre, chats, calls they intentionally charged extra amount.. then after several calls they refund me half amount.. still gold weight difference refund is due.

I had presented my daughter with a diamond band/ ring. Unbeknownst to her, one of the stones has fallen out. She had worn it for about 2 months. She lives in NZ. How can you replace the stone without a fee? You will agree with me that it is shoddy workmanship from Carat Lane.

I had a really great try at home experience from caratelane. All thanks to vijayanand, he got all the mentioned jewellary for trial and the entire process was really great.
