Britannia Parking delay their penalty notification letters so that they arrive AFTER the discounted period has elapsed. The final reminder arrives ON THE DAY of the final deadline. Scam.

Wow Brian Parker Ceo
Wow Brian Parker Ceo, I hope you read these reviews. Absolutely disgusting customer care and poor data protection. You really need to organise and manage your company.
Avoid at all costs
Avoid at all costs. giving them a rating of 1 is a lot more than what I would give them.
Dont listen to any appeals and preying on hard working individuals to line the pockets of their CEO's
I will never park in any of their car parks ever again!
Britpark are scammers!
Britpark are scammers!
They have a one way system, remove their barriers and put up misleading signs to tell you to pay on the exit and next thing you know you are back out to the streets again wondering what to do.
They do not have CCTV in any of their carparks and they do not record their phone calls so you do not have any evidence that can be used at your defence.
What company dose not have CCTV in 2024? A company that scams that's what.
They can afford ANPR cameras but not CCTV cameras, is that not a little suspicious?
The system they have in place is designed to use fines as a way to maximise profits and pray on the venerable.
It is wrong what they do and they need to be exposed!
AVOID their car parks!
Like many people who have left reviews about Britannia Parking, I would give the company 0 if I could. I used one of their car parks in Knutsford, Cheshire one Saturday afternoon last year. Payment had to made on arrival, the only ticket machine was 'not in use' and there was no other way to pay for a ticket. I received a PCN through the post for £60, increasing to £100 after 2 weeks. I appealed and they rejected my appeal, claiming there were 'multiple ways to pay' - a false claim. (The photo I took of their signage proved this!). I also offered to pay the £3.50 I had tried to pay on the day but no - 'the PCN was issued correctly', they said. I then received another letter asking for a £100 as the time to pay the reduced fine of £60 had elapsed. I then appealed to POPLA, arguing that it was impossible to meet the T&Cs of the parking contract as there was no way to buy a ticket. POPLA later informed me that BP had reviewed my appeal and decided to cancel the PCN - utter rubbish. It was clearly because I had appealed to POPLA so they backed down. I think Britannia Parking is an unethical company, aware that the only ticket machine in that car park was out of order and so fully exploited the opportunity to issue PCNs, hoping to make a tidy profit out of honest drivers. Needless to say, I will never use one of their car parks again and I would strongly advise others to avoid them too.
Lambhay Hill, Barbican, Plymouth - car park pirates
Parked at Lambhay Hill car park in Plymouth, as we had on a number of previous occasions, and paid £6 for three hours while my husband and I went for a birthday lunch. (We actually stayed just one and a half hours). We had some difficulty keying the car registration number as the machine appeared to not recognise certain keys! However, we persisted and eventually believed the correct details had been entered and printed the ticket.
Two weeks later a penalty notice was received through the post. We appealed with evidence of paying (detailed by bank App) but another two weeks and appeal turned down accusing us of either not paying or not validating the ticket with the correct reg. number.
The fine was ‘reduced to £20’ to cover administrative costs (of falsely accusing us of not paying) with the ‘treat’ that a failed appeal to independent POPLA would mean reinstating £100 fine! This is daylight robbery. We will never use this carpark again and advise everyone else to avoid Britannia Parking sites at all costs!
Britpark didn't listen to my appeal…
Britpark didn't listen to my appeal after fining me £100 when I had paid cash in the machine for 4 hours only parked for 3 1/2.Apparently they can't check the machine against what I said but seem happy to have taken the fee in any case.
Disgraceful will never park there again and will encourage everyone not to use Carlisle car park.
Evil
Evil, profiteering, surveillance company that gave me a £100 fine on Christmas Eve for overstaying by 15 mins.
Why would anyone want to work for these people?
Con artists
You go to appeal as
a ticket was purchased I put my email in plus proof but website keeps saying email field is wrong so making impossible for you to appeal lol
Dealt with very well after my mistake
Dealt with very well after my mistake. Used their Barnet car park and didn't read signs properly. Left without paying, as I thought I would have to pay at entry barrier. Emailed them straight after I realised there was nowhere to pay on entry in vehicle. Got a polite response to say a PCN would not be issued. Thanks
Scamming parkers saying card machine…
Scamming parkers saying card machine isn't working so you are forced to pay cash.
Inland revenue notified this company is pocketing cash in hand
Paid for parking
Paid for parking, while using a hire car no receipt issued. Brit park then sent a parking notice to my hire company for £35. Hire company obviously informed me and passed my details to Britpark who then issued me with a fine of £60! I had paid for parking but as the machine did not issue a receipt so I had no proof. DO NOT USE BRITPARK CAR PARKING.
This company should be shut down
This company should be shut down. I have paid for my parking at Croydon and then I got 2PCN for £200. I paid as soon as I entered the parking, but they are saying that they cannot find my car details.
Please don’t use this parking. They are shameless people working there.
Machine out of order and spent 45 mins…
Machine out of order and spent 45 mins trying to pay!!!! Leaving now and looking forward to their invoice that will happily go to court about! Guy behind the bar informs us that the machine happily goes out of order through the holidays! Does not help a business that we were going to spend the afternoon in!! Shame on you!!
Britannia Parking are disgraceful…
Britannia Parking are disgraceful organization it is impossible to telephone and discuss any thing with them; never respond to e mail or letter, just let your appeal run and run so that you forced to give up and pay heavier fine. Their car park signage is bad to non existent. Be strongly advised DO NOT EVER USE OR GO NEAR BRITANNIA PARKING, it will cost you expensively if you do!
I went in to the car park and I entered my details an joined there site bank details an all …
I went in to the car park and I entered my bank details an they supposed to charge you my bill was £2.80 and I got a letter saying I owed more they have my bank details I joined up with them I ended up paying £100 I have dyslexia an struggle with forms an stuff but this is just victimisation
as I have stated on the other Britannia…
as I have stated on the other Britannia parking review:
who ever runs Britannia Parking has no clue on how to do customer service. my friend of mine recently got a fine a month ago which I thought had been resolved as they did check that their account had £60 less in it. next thing I know they send another letter saying they didn't pay it off. then I made a stupid mistake in trying to pay it for them and which said the transaction was complete( I even went to check that it took the money from my account.) but when I went to check their website on the PCN status, it said it wasn't valid!
I tried multiple times to get in contact with them but no avail. do not pay a single penny.
theives…
They sending the tickets to the businesses where we parking since last 7 years never had any issue and now these people start sending tickets
Awful theiving company
Awful theiving company! Charge you and no ticket produced and even though ANPR in use, you need the ticket to avoid a parking ticket! So....you have to pay twice. No replies to emails complaining and asking for a refund. They know they aren't going to be taken to court for £4.50! Easy money for them! Dread to think how much extra they make a year with this con! Day light robbery! Will now avoid their carparks like the plague!
Absolutely disgusting.
I think this is one of the bad parking…
I think this is one of the bad parking management I have seen, first of all no clear sign, notice boards while you are operating parking within a pub premises, when network is not working and you notify the same to the pub, you will still receive the parking fine.
