Ordered a lot of Christmas lights and things to do with Christmas on 4th November. Rang first time on hold 35 mins no answer. Tried again a few days after and a girl answered asked her about my order was told would be the end of the week. Nothing. All in all 7 emails to them all sorts of excuses waiting for delivery's. Didn't reply to my last email on 18th November. Contacted my bank told them all about it. They refunded the £105 to my credit card and would take it up with them. Had forgotten about it till today and batley diy are disputing it. I have all the emails I have sent and recieved from them and cctv and no parcel has been sent to my home. Bank have said they batley diy have 30 days to respond. They are crooks and judging by what I have read I'm not the only one. How are they allowed to get away with this.

Company is locked up with letters from Bailiffs in the window.

Scammers using fraudulent trading practices

I ordered goods online which never arrived.
They never answer the phone so don't try calling.

I initiated a chargeback via my card company to retrieve the funds, and reported them to trading standards.

Avoid this poorly managed company run by crooks and scammers.

Dreadful company, avoid at all costs. Damaged large item- advised on day of delivery in June 25. Months of delays between contact emails to try to resolve. Eventually went to CAB/trading standards. Only got refund end Oct 25 by going through bank for charge-back after final registered letter &and 20-odd emails! and then they tried to get some of the money back. They need to be stopped from trading! Unscrupulous & unprincipled.

I ordered Christmas lights from Batley DIY a month ago and I’ve still received nothing. Every attempt to contact the company has been completely filled with excuses by them or totally ignored. Based on my experience, the whole thing feels like a scam - money taken, no goods delivered and zero communication.

In my opinion, this is not a business you can rely on. I strongly recommend avoiding them at all costs, unless you want to waste your time and money.

They never delivered, they never refunded my money, they dont answer the phone or email. I doubt the store is real. A scam

Do NOT order from this company. I ordered a product on line that was apparently in stock for collection in mid November. When the confirmation that the product was ready to collect never arrived I decided to take a drive to the address on the website only to find an empty unit. When phoning nobody picks up either leaving me to believe that the business is a scam.

Scammers! Ordered an item that was never dispatched, and now their website is shut down.

Wish I had read the reviews before placing an order. Item never showed up, despite me chasing and being told it was being dispatched. I requested to cancel order and have a refund, they said they had cancelled the order and would issue a refund. Never received refund. Avoid at all costs

Placed an order nothing forthcoming so cancelled and asked for a refund still battling since beginning of November. I'm getting in touch with the bank.

Placed an order which was not dispatched after 3 weeks . Emails always say “significant backlog we’ll be dispatching at end of the week”. No reply on telephone. Wish I had checked reviews before ordering. I have cancelled my order, it remains to be seen if I will ever get a refund…

Whatever you do do not order from this company I have never ever had such awful customer service in my life. After repeated emails to cancel an order as i had waited too long they continued to ignore my request and my unwanted item turned up. I told them to take it back and was promised my refund. I am still waiting six weeks later. Awful awful company save your money and your sanity. They need to be shut down.

Ordered a specific type of fly spray. Emailed after no progress in a week and received their normal excuse of 'problem with deliveries' despite product still on sale.
Contacted PayPal, a week later, and received an immediate refund. No waiting to contact retailer etc - just straight back into my account - very telling.

Placed £200 order on 4th October, still not received. Phone constantly rings out and they repeatedly advise me that the refund will be processed soon via email only for nothing to happen!

Complete scammers, avoid! Bank and Police being called.

Placed my order two weeks ago have been emailing batleydiy and customer service is awful always making excuses and when trying to phone no answer shocking.
Save your money and buy elsewhere

Dont answer the phone. Promise refunds by email but don't follow through. Very slow delivery. Altogether a business you don't want to buy anything from. Read the other reviews and choose a respectable supplier

I placed my order over a month a go, have sent several chasing emails and been on hold on the phone without anyone ever picking up. I have disputed the charge with my bank and hopefully that will resolve it. Absolutely appalling that a company can steal your money like this.

Waiting 6 weeks for a refund for an order that was not sent. Cannot get through on the phone. Hopeless. Unprofessional. Do not use them
