The audiologist explained everything thoroughly, checked and recommended what was right for me. I was very pleased with the service. The hearing aids have made a difference, I am beginning to hear the sounds that I never picked up. It was a good experience.

The quickness of the appointment and…
The quickness of the appointment and the Audiologist explaining the test prior to administering it. The test showed deficiencies in my hearing.
I was asked if I wanted aids there and then. I accepted and was fitted with aids which I took away with me.
They looked similar to the £3000 pair on off er at Boots and the £2500 pair at Specsavers. I opted for the free pair from NHS

All very efficient. Staff friendly and helpful. Practitioner most understanding, thorough and diligent. Such a good advert for the NHS. I do think some sort of monetary charge should be made by those who can afford it!

Professional and easy service
Booking and referral.process was easy. Navami Joshy was great. My first hearing test and she was reassuring and professional throughout. Explained each step of the test and the results. Assisted with setting up hearing aid app on phone and ensured I was clear about care and maintenance of hearing aids before I left.

Beware unethical trading and non existent service.
My wife had an appointment on September 24th. 2025 for NHS hearing aids. The tests apparently showed that none were suitable and were offered Oticon hearing aids for spot purchase. This is against the NHS contract terms that AS have with the NHS on the grounds of unethical trading.
A follow up at home appointment was made for October 8th to finalise set up but this has never taken place despite repeated calls. At the end of February this year one of the aids stopped working and an appointment revealed that the receiver was faulty. A new one was promised in the post direct to our home. Despite repeated calls no part has been received over one month later. I was even asked to pay for a warranted part that failed after five months. I called Oticon and they immediately recommended I visit an alternative audiologist and within four days I had the part.
This company offers a good service for NHS aids but I strongly advise others not to pay them a penny for private service.
