This review relates to Michael Briscoe Electrix within Arnotts department store.
I recently purchased a television from MBE. The person I dealt with was James. I had a number of questions about the television, dimensions, inner workings and so on. James was so patient and tirelessly answered every single query with good humour and genuine engagement with me as a customer of your shop. I really appreciated how kind he was. I needed the help and I wanted to feel that I was getting the best television for me - I cannot thank him enough. There is no doubt that James is directly responsible for my buying the item on that day. He is a credit to Arnotts and to Michael Briscoe Electrix.

Visited the store in Dublin and had a wonderful experience with a retail assistant named Sarah working in the homeware basement. Went above and beyond what would be expected of her in getting a full kitchen set sorted for my Mother. Even rang another branch to check stock when an item wasn’t in store.

Customer service like that during a stressful and busy shopping period is hard to come by, not to mention while training new staff in. Credit to the brand and deserves to be shouted out!

I ordered click and collect by mistake once and the issue was sorted out extremely quickly over one or two emails.

Ordered a pair of boots online due to the fact it promised delivery by 8th November as I wanted them for an event. On 10th November the item still hadn't been received by An Post. On contacting customer service it took two days to respond to say they would look into the issue. Another day later they updated to say that the item was 'lost in transit' and they would refund. To date no refund has been received. Will not order online from here again. Steer clear.

Horrible online shopping experience from Arnotts. Placed an online order on 11/07 and still 8 days later the order has not been sent. Wrote to customer service, where they only tell me that they are busy and need to wait. When placing the order it was written that the parcel will arrive on 11/13. Bought a gift for a loved one and did not receive it on time. Will never order from this store again!!! Parcels from other countries usually arrive faster than from this store. Horrible!

I had been having an issue making payment online over a 48 hour period for goods I wanted to buy from Brown Thomas. After many phonecalls to customer service, the matter had not been resolved. Having explored all possible problems myself, I discovered that redeeming my points online was the issue. I placed a further call to customer service and spoke to a wonderful rep. called Ava who apologised and made sure I was taken care of. She sent me a wonderful gift and reimbursed me the delivery fee. After a frustrating experience, Ava was a breath of fresh air and I would like to thank her for her very kind and helpful assistance.

Was in the shop over the weekend, a girl call Pamela was so very helpful at the chanel make up counter, she made my shopping experience so easy. I would highly recommend Pamela to anyone shopping in Arnotts

Terrible shipping. Order online and it takes so long as well as charging you 6 euro to deliver ,it charges you to return also. But the thing is the service is so poor why am I paying 6e for delivery when they are so slow. Go to asos, harvey Norman, reiss, any other store is so much quicker.

Had issues with my password. The team got back to me promptly. Sarah reset my password and was very friendly. Great customer service

Easy shopping experience. I have shopped Arnott's online a number of times and always had great experiences.

Firstly Arnotts lost my returned item for 8 days. So far Arnotts have not decided whether or not I will be given a refund. This is in light of the manufacturer saying to take the it back for a refund which I have sent a hard copy to Arnotts.

Prompt response which was relevant and helpful.

Very responsive customer service - I recently made an error on an order I placed online. I emailed the customer care team who responded very quickly and were able to cancel my order before it was dispatched.
I have ordered from Arnott's a few times now without incident so am greatly reassured by, and grateful for their follow up customer care on this occasion.

Dior section....

I recently went to Arnotts to buy a limited edition Dior lipstick. I was in a bit of a hurry and I was also undecided about the color.

In the end I decided what to buy, but because I wasn't sure, I asked if they had enough stock because I intend to come back the next day and buy that lipstick in another color, because I really wasn't sure and the only solution to solve the problem would have been to I buy both.

When I asked if they had enough stock, the lady answered, and I quote: "we don't change lipsticks".

I find it rude and disrespectful.
The owners of the trust would have shown respect, which was completely lacking in the case of the employee in subject.

I forgot to add that I asked the lady in question to give me a recommendation for a Dior perfume, for indoor use. She looked at me in a strange way and started to introduce me to perfumes that had nothing to do with the theme...totally unprepared in this regard as well.
I suggest intensive communication and marketing training for the staff.

I have friends who avoid this shopping center because of the poorly trained staff in terms of communication and sales.

I'm sorry that I had to write this review, but this year alone I had, I think, 4 such events, with different staff.

The Asian lady from YSL, same....poorly prepared and very poor communication in English.
I will not add the fact that their knowledge regarding makeup is almost non-existent.
I asked her about some products that appear before Christmas and she looked at me very surprised...I quickly realized that she doesn't know what I'm talking about.

Thank you,Arnotts, for the good products, and I hope to see soon an improvement with regard to the staff behaviour and training.

Honest,reliable and efficient is how I would describe Arnotts.I've been ordering online from Arnotts since Covid.It is a comfort to know that when I order from Arnotts..I really will get what I ordered+that it will arrive speedily,sometimes even the next day. As for their packaging..it is superb..beautifully presented+boxed..just as if you'd bought them in the shop 5 mins.ago.If I order perfumes or body lotions or make-up..they always add in little samples.How wonderful is that!
My most recent communication with Arnotts was over items I mistakenly ordered for collection,rather than posting.No problem to Arnotts staff member Jess..she arranged postage..and so it was..promptly delivered with all their wonderful attention to detail.

Arnotts is the only original store left I. Dublin. Never had any issues with it staff friendly and very helpful and even ring you to say what you were looking for is back in store. Also always have great santa experience.

I would like to say that I have always found Arnotts staff, both in store and online, to be very helpful. Recently, I didn't receive an email to confirm my order, I got in touch with customer services, and they immediately dealt with the situation. I received my order promptly and safely. Also today I received a gift box, which was totally unexpected. I will always deal with Arnotts due to their great service. Thank you 👏👏👏👏
