Very bad customer service and unreliable.

ordered a mystery box and the description said customers could choose the gun model but I was never given the option to choose. contacted customer service multiple times and no response. Order said it was shipped with no tracking number!! So i'm basically gonna get something I didn't order if i even get anything!!!!! will never buy from here again

Non existent customer service

I have had nothing but issues working with airsoft megastore customer service. I bought a 3 gun boneyard mystery box which was supposed to include 3 guns ranging from snipers to gas pistols to rifles l, it also stated in the description that they were "nonfunctional but may be used for parts or to be repaired"
Guns i recieved were 2 non blowback pistols both the same model both with the same problem (what are the odds of that) and a SPRINGER m1 carbine, please tell me what can i use any of these "parts" for. I felt as though i was screwed and gave them a call and surprisingly got a rep on the line very quickly after describing what i recieved she mentioned that yes the items i recieved had no value as repairable or for parts and should have been THROWN AWAY and NOT put into the mystery box . She said i needed to send pictures of the items recieved so that they could start an "investigation" into the items recieved so i obliged. 2 days later called back after no confirmation at all and got another female who stated that they did not recieve the emails (i sent 5 emails so they could get as many pictures as i felt was needed) and that while yes while i should not have recieved that springer that was a risk i took buying the boneyard mystery box as "if they could fix it why would they throw it into the boneyard instead of jist fixing it and selling it for more" but also stated that in order to continue with my request for replacement or refund i would need to resend the emails again, which i did.
After another 3 days of waiting no confirmation was recieved so i called again and this time got a guy who "seemed very helpful" he stated that while they have not recieved the emails yet they would still send me a new batch of guns and even offered a pick at model preference. He stated they would not be able to get them shipped out that day (call was after 4pm pst on a friday) and due to labor day would not be able to send them out until that tuesday. I was happy to accept that answer and moved on, UNTIL that following thursday when i called back to get an update on the shipment in which i was told "its being processed we only have 2 technicians who run the boneyard portion and one of them is out for an unknown reason and to give them some time and that i would shortly recieve a confirmation number with tracking info for a new shipment. Here i am writing this review almost a full 2 weeks since the most recent call and 3 weeks since the first call was placed and i still have not recieved ANY kind of correspondence regarding the package.

Avoid - No customer support or service

If your order is screwed up or your part is defective it will become very clear that this company is a complete joke. They sent me the wrong part, even though the invoice had the correct part number listed, the part itself was off by a single number. Didn't stop the "QC" person from signing it off and shipping.
First tried to call their 1-800 #. Repeatedly after a long wait a message comes on telling you they are so busy please call back later. Every time I called.

Next sent them an e-mail and got a auto-response that they will work on it. Nothing for weeks. Sent again, nothing. Not until I filed a Paypal claim did they try and reach out to me about the issue. They asked for a photo of the part which I provided. Then they ask me to send it back to them with a tracking # and they will send me the correct part.

Since when am I obliged to pay for shipping back your screw up?? No RMA number, nothing.

Every other air-soft site I've dealt with provides you with an RMA, pre-paid label, etc. Not these guys.

Read the other posts, look them up on YELP - Avoid Airsoft Megastore at all costs - too many other good vendors out there.

Absolutely awful company

One of the worst companies that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Their shipping is expensive and slow. It seemed like I was getting a good deal on an airsoft gun even with $16 in shipping costs. After two short weeks the gun showed up. The gun worked for an hour. So I went to the website to see what to do to return the gun. Thankfully my situation fell into the approximately 1% of reasons that you can return the gun (only for exact replacement). So I contact Customer support and wait some more. Then I contact them again and finally get the RMA#. I have to send the gun back for replacement, but guess who gets to pay the shipping charge for their faulty product? That's right, me. At least the $16 I had to pay got the gun there in 2 days...weird. After about another week they send an email saying that they don't have that gun anymore and I can only get store credit. So I get store credit for just the price of the gun. No original shipping cost, no second shipping cost, and nothing to cover the cost of shipping that would be incurred by using the store credit! I would understand if I was returning the gun because I changed my mind or if I didn't like it. They sent me a non-functional product. I would recommend not buying from this company and if you do, be sure to think about the complete lack of support or care that you will get from the company.

Not sure why they have such bad reviews

Hello,

I am a guy who just wanted a good airsoft gun to shoot around with. After lots of research I got a good deal with this company. When I received my package it seemed that they sent me the wrong battery for my gun. When I called them, the lady on the phone was really nice and knowledgable. After explaining my issue she reviewed my order and then noticed that the battery I ordered wouldn't have worked for my gun anyway! I was really appreciative that she took the time to look that up. She then sent me the correct battery free of charge. Don't bother emailing the company because I haven't gotten a reply via email, but over the phone they get stuff done. I've had a fine experience with it and I'm so shocked that they have so many bad customer service reviews.

Customer Service Non-Existent

This is by far the worst company I have ever dealt with. My son and I ordered an M4A1, chest rig, goggles, face mask, and gloves. I only received the face mask and gloves. I have been trying to contact them since February 2nd. It is almost 3 months later. They never respond to their emails and I cannot get a hold of a customer Service rep despite waiting sometime upwards of an hour on the phone. I don't know what to do. My son saved for 6 months to buy all of this and it has been a nightmare ever since.

What customer service?

Purchased a AR styled rifle for a Christmas present for our grandson beginning of 12/15. He opened Christmas day it fired 3 rounds & quit. After making numerous phone calls I finally spoke with a young lady. She promptly informed me I would receive return information within a few hours. 3 days later the email arrived. The short version, today's date is 03/25/16 the replacement is to ship 03/29/16. If you don't mind 40-60 minute wait times on hold & no response to emails other than automated ones then this is the company to buy from. However, I feel 3 months is a long time for our grandson to wait for his Christmas present!!!!!!!!!
Oh, the on-hold message must have been written by a 14 year, it certainly was not written by a responsible adult. Sorry for insulting 14 yr olds.

I bought a $300.00 paperweight instead of an airsoft rifle

I purchased a SCAR-L Sportline MK-16 Mod O last June for my sons 13th birthday. The first one they sent worked for 2 days and then would not fire. We ended up sending it back because they could not fix it over the phone and I had to send it back at my expense. Airsoft sent another rifle they said was brand new and that quit working after maybe 3 days. I asked for my money back and they said to send the gun back at my expense and they will fix it. By then, it did not make sense financially to send it back so it sits in its box as a $300.00 paperweight. Do yourself a favor and buy locally. Airsoft megastore is not worth the couple bucks you may save.

Great Airsoft Store, Good deals, Good Ship Timing, Good Everything

Who ever thinks this company is a joke, it isn't. I got a great price for a gas powered SR-25, which I normally would pay over 600, and yet I got it for around 4-500 dollars. I also ordered some clothing related items which I have to admit came a little damaged. I kind of ignored the damage until it actually broke in mid fight. I called them up like 2 days later and told them how it broke. Because it was damaged in shipping and the ups guy made a note of it, I was able to get a full refund, which I used to buy the same mag holder and belt. Another time my gun I ordered which was an M4 CQB got lost in shipping. I told them and they just sent me a new one with almost no questions asked.

horibble customer service

No reason to expedite shipping because it will still take 4 or 5 days to process your order.
Oh and customer service is a joke. It sounds like it one girl answering the phone after waiting 20 min just to speak to someone always managesbto hang up on you. Don't bother emailing they will not reply.
For awhile I thought I got robbed by a fake conpany but 2 weeks later after paying expedite shipping I got my gun

first time no go

Took a full week to make a shipping label for an order that was "in stock". Non existent customer service. Contact via email was never answered and when you call you will spend a lifetime on hold listening to (I'm assuming the owner) make stupid jokes about their crappy customer service. Given all the other bad reviews here I have little faith that my order will show up to my house intact, if at all at this point.

DO NOT ORDER FROM THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Their website says "free shipping", it takes you through the entire process; Name, address, shipping info, then it sends you to enter your credit card number, as soon as you click on continue it charges your account... This terrible company charged me $500.00, yes that is correct $500.00 US dollars for shipping a $131.99 gun!!!!!!! We went to the site again and went to complete a "dummy" order...Shipping went from $12.99 to $79.99 to $250.00 all inside of 3 minutes. I have emailed them twice, I have called several times, currently been on hold for 10 min. TERRIBLE customer service as well... In a nut shell a $131.99 gun cost me $914.00!!!!

Horrible service and shipping

I ordered my package on December 30th, 2015, and after a total of about 10 business days, I have still not received a package. It is now January 14th, and the website said my package shipped out on January 3rd. Apparently not. Customer service is also horrible, as I emailed them and I got a response about 5 business days later (even though they say it will be at MOST 1-2 business days).

Don't trust customer service!!

I placed an order with Airsoft Megastore and Evike within 10 minutes of eachother. Placed the order on Friday Dec. 25...yes i realize it was Christmas. I did not expect either order to ship until monday the 28th. I received shipping confirmations and tracking numbers from both stores on the 28th. The Evike order was delivered to my doorstep on the 30th. Airsoft Megastore on the other hand did not show up, and every attempt to track the package ended up saying it was unavailable. After calling multiple times trying to find out if the package had indeed shipped, i was told by customer service that it had shipped on the 28th. It is now the 31st, the tracking number finally works, only because the package was dropped off at the usps TODAY, scanned in for the first time...NOT ON THE 28TH like I had been told. When tracking the package, it also says that it is being sent priority mail. I appreciate the effort to get it here quicker. However, I do not like being lied to about when an order has been sent out.

I will be doing all further purchases through Evike!

Dishonest

Their website lists a scope for $72. But got charged $84 at checkout.
Called multiple times to fix. They say they cannot find that price on their website. It was on their front page and wanted me to take a photo and email it to them. I did and no response. Called and they stated they were to busy and would get to it.

Avoid doing business with these guys

Terrible customer service

Would be zero stars if that were an option. I ordered some gifts for my nephews birthday a week and half before his party. After 1 week of the order saying it shipped and not getting a tracking number I called and the rep said the gun was out of stock. Airsoft megastore took no responsibility for the delay and had no intention of correcting the situation. They refused expedited shipping and honoring their prie match guarentee on a similar product. Overall terrible customer service. There are plenty of other online airsoft retailers out there and I will take all future business elsewhere. I would not be surprised if the positive reviews were from employees based on my experience.

Great producsts and high quality customer service

First off, Airsoft Megastore has an excellent stock of quality items, and some of the lowest prices on the market. I was very impressed not only with they're wide selection, but the affordability of it all. Once I had chosen my items and gone through checkout, I received an order confirmation, but no shipping conformation. I waited almost a full 24 hours before i received a polite email from customer service, saying one of the items I wanted was no longer in stock, and apologized for the lateness in getting back to me. They said that I could either wait for my item to be shipped later, and have the rest shipped now, cancel the purchase of said item, or replace it with something else. I told them exactly what I wanted to replace it with, and within a few hours they had thanked me for my patience and my order was shipped. Top notch service.

Customer Service Sucks

They used to be really, really good but that has changed. Bought from them the end of October 2014. Had a problem with the product and wrote the company. No response. Wrote them again, no response.

After about 4 emails I posted on Facebook asking why their customer service was having issues. I got an email from someone named Ross Collins who assured me they were aware of the problems and he would make sure they sent me a replacement.

So a few weeks go by and NOTHING, not a single thing so I wrote Ross again. No response. Wrote him again, no response. After 4 tries and several more emails sent to customer service they have not responded to a single one of them. So I have a defective product, am out the money, and their customer service sucks.

I now spend time posting on sites and Facebook warning people to avoid them and suggesting Evike, Airsoft GI, or a airsoft Station which so far have all been quite good with their prices, shipping, and customer service.

I just hope this helps some of you save your money. While I am fortunate and the $100.00 defective product isn't that big of an issue, it just might be for someone else.

Be safe, have fun, and don't waste your time or money with this company.

Horrible customer service!

Ordered on Dec 5th.Sent an email asking about the status on the 8th.

Got an email on the 10th saying it had shipped on the 9th. They lied. A label didn't even get created until the 13th and the package didn't ship until the 16th. I asked on the 13th for the order to be cancelled. They didn't bother to respond until the 16th after it shipped.

They agreed to give me a full refund if I contacted them when the packages arrived and didn't open it. I contacted them immediately when I got the package on the 19th. No response.

I've emailed them multiple times since then (it's now Jan. 6th), and they haven't responded to a single one. I've posted on their Facebook page and also not gotten a response.

This company does not stand by their policies and they have the worst customer service I've ever experienced. Do not buy from them!

missing parts

Ordered what I would call an expensive gun. A DBoy Reece full Metal rifle. .. stock was loose. Husband tightened it up and noticed wrong battery was with it. Called company and they said they would send correct battery and not to worry about sending back the wrong one. I thought to myself...wow they are willing to help...but.....still have not received it. Also the bi-pod had no where to mount it. Very disappointed. Will not order from them again.
