Avoid. Terrible service. No communication about a problem sourcing the part I ordered over a month with no contact to say they couldn’t get it. No call backs from staff I spoke to about the problem or the online ticket i raised. Lied to three times in one week about the part being shipped And even the manager refused to call back when I asked to lodge a complaint. Avoid

Third time i have ordered something from Abbey and the third time they have sent the wrong item. Emails go unanswered., just a standard message we are very busy at the moment.

Easy to find the parts I needed with good delivery. Very good service.

Ordered two rope grips from the website.
Took almost a month of constant chasing for them to arrive, and they were not what was pictured on the site.
Very very slow and lethargic service (very friendly people) and a complete disaster. Ordered on 30th August, arrived after four chases on 27th September. Everything that could go wrong, did. I will NEVER use this company again. Friendly but not competent.

although qualcast have discontinued many of the parts I needed Abbey were able to find another company that were still making qualcast parts sorted out my needs and supplied the parts within a few days excellent service

Appalling service. Ordered 3 items have chased this up with Chris John and finally got 2 out of 3 items delivered after delay of 5 weeks. 3rd item is to follow. Now been waiting another week no update at all.The item I am waiting for is strimmer line which I would have thought would be a stock item.

Will not use or recommend this company again. This is a shame as in the past I have made several purchases of higher value goods from them

Only gave a 1 star review as that is the lowest possible. I ordered a petrol hedge trimmer (TCK) from this company in June 2019 and paid in full at order. I was eventually informed it was being dispatched on 2nd July 2019 but ended up collecting it from our local sorting office on 5th July. When I opened the item for first use on 7th July 2019 I realised it wasn't running well (I have several pieces of two-stroke equipment, so I know proper mixes and how equipment should run) the hedge trimmer didn't hold revs and when turned on its side it cut out, with a recoil type noise. I immediately informed the company of the fault that day but correspondence was extremely poor with automated replies stating 'we are extremely busy but will respond as soon as possible'. I then telephoned and spoke to someone who said they would respond by email - they didn't. I then received an automated email stating the item could't be returned because I'd used it - totally at variance with their own T&C's. I ended up ordering a new hedge trimmer from another company who were actually cheaper anyway. I was eventually supplied with a returns lable on 2nd August 2019 and posted the hedge trimmer back that day. I then involved my credit card company to try andget my money back as the company now had my money and the hedge trimmer. I finally received a refund on 11th September. I have used this company twice before and everything was okay but maybe they are victims of their own sucess? Their customer services are non-existant. There are other companies that can supply the same equipment cheaper but I decided to use them based on past experience. However, I will not use them again and I wish I had read the Google reviews before I placed my order.
I recommend you use another company - just in case you receive a faulty item.

parts are great but had to wait well over a week and nothing to tell you they were not in stock and not a lot of communication i had to ring them

Awful, please do not use, still waiting for a part nearly 4 weeks now, communication is bad, never get back to you when they say they will, please spend an extra couple pounds and get your item quicker and with less hassle, worst company I have ever dealt with! DO Not USE!!

No problem with order my only advice would be to arrange faster delivery as 7 days is far too long as other companies such as chains direct have next day delivery available and when you are desperate for the new chain this is a massive draw to them. Thanks

I have just bought a shed from this company and I am very pleased with it. great value, good quality timber used, well built on their own site which we visited prior to placing the order.
The shed was delivered and assembled at our home at the date and time stated and the staff were very helpful and their work was to a very high standard.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering buying a garden shed check out this company first

First and final time making a purchase. Ordered a Petrol Tank for Hedge-cutters, selected part from their parts diagram
Wrong one delivered. Comms very poor, very slow, very unhelpful. Sent item back, at my expense, 4 weeks ago, I am still waiting for a refund despite several follow up emails.
Every interaction was followed up with "we are very busy , it might take some time to get back to you".
Very disappointed. I would always support a UK company over purchasing from abroad but with poor service like this I was forced to order from Europe (via EBay) and got the correct item within 3 days - no fuss.
