I have never been consistent with exercise before WAFA
I have never been consistent at exercise until I joined WAFA. For the equivalent of £20-odd per week, it's invaluable to my mood, energy and strength. I feel so much better than I did a year ago. Having a coach makes me feel seen and that I've someone who's on my side and having someone checking up on me helps my motivation!
WAFA is transformative
I’ve been with WAFA for 1.5 years now and cannot recommend it highly enough. It’s so much more than a fitness app, it’s a whole community supported by incredible, friendly, inspiring and positive coaches that engage with each and every one of us personally. I never thought I would be weight lifting or getting up at 6:15am 3 times a week but WAFA has got me hooked on the many benefits it brings to my life. Don’t hesitate to sign up for a trial, you won’t regret it.

I never thought I would be exercising regularly at 59 let alone with weights!
I've been with WAFA since May '23, and it wasn't easy.... but it was doable! The different levels for each exercise is great and yes, with consistency wall push-ups do make a real difference.
Thanks to friendly and inclusive support from coaches and members I am strong, I move with ease and I know and respect my body more than I ever imagined.

Do it...WAFA is great!
I have been a member of WAFA for over a year now and have found it a brilliant way to engage with exercise that feels relevant (especially as the years go by!) and is just so easy to access. The online classes are great and I was surprised to find just how motivating it is to be part of a real time group - but with the convenience of not having to leave the house. WAFA staff are supportive and encouraging and , if you want to make use of it, there are tons of resources and online workshops looking at wider issues like mind set and nutrition. I thoroughly recommend WAFA and have them to thank for being so much stronger and healthier than when I started.
Why I rate the fitness club WAFA
I have been a member of WAFA for -18 months. It has transformed my life. As someone who has never persevered or enjoyed any exercise I love every single class. The coaches and Anna are so supportive snd encouraging - I go three times a week , and love the warmth and friendship of the other members of WAFA . I leave every class feeling great, stronger , with a smile .
Got me the fittest ever!
I have been a member for just over 2 years now. I can genuinely say that in many ways i am now probably the fittest I've ever been (I'm in my mid 50s). Since joining I have become so much stronger and have better muscle definition in my arms than ever before (I joke they are my 1990 Madonna arms) and I have lost a stone and a half and am back at the same weight I was in my 20s and 30s. But the best thing of all is the friendship that the group offers - it's an amazing group of women who all support each other, whatever and wherever the are on their fitness journey. Thoroughly recommend- it changed my life and I love being a WAFA
I wholeheartedly recommend WAFA
I wholeheartedly recommend WAFA! I've been a member for two years now, and have consistently stuck with it (three online strength classes a week) because it's fantastic. The instructors are all so knowledgeable and professional, and even though it's online they correct your form when needed and give individual encouragement so it feels like you're all in a room together. The classes are brilliantly planned to get your heart rate up and build strength, and there are multiple options given for every exercise to suit all fitness/strength levels (literally ALL levels - if ask you can currently do is get up and down from a chair and lift your arms with no weights, there are options for you, and you'll be lifting heavy weights and doing full press ups in no time!). If you're injured or just not getting on with a particular movement the instructors give personalised alternatives, and regularly check in outside of classes to offer support or advice, e.g. on how to safely increase the weights without injuring yourself. The range of sessions (mind set, nutrition, etc) in addition to the classes is wonderful too. WAFA has made a hugely positive difference to my life - I'm noticeably stronger (lifted a heavy sofa with no problems the other day, which even my husband struggled with), and signing up for each week's classes in advance means I do them without fail, and feel brilliant afterwards. I thought before joining I'd just try it for the intro, but would probably go back to using an app or YouTube (which I never regularly did because I couldn't get into the routine of it). But I've stayed because the classes are so high quality, and the community and instructors are so wonderful and supportive. Join now - you won't regret it!
Life changing, friendly, supportive fitness
I joined WAFA in January 2025 and it’s been a brilliant experience in terms of helping me really commit to a practical and highly effective fitness programme. I do three sweat and strength classes every week, usually in person and sometimes online. I’ve managed to keep up with it consistently for a year now, and it feels a hugely important part of my life. I didn’t join to lose weight but to get strong. I’m miles fitter and stronger and in better shape than I’ve been for years. The ethos and members are massively supportive, there’s no judgement. Each class is really hard work but in a supportive way. I love it. Anna, Lorraine, Maria, Rebecca and all the other coaches online are both lovely and challenging. I recommend it incredibly highly
Rescued From Slothfulness!
We Are Fit Attitude has rescued me from sliding into complete slobdom! I saw it advertised on FB and then read a review in one of the papers and, realising I needed to get into better shape, thought I would give it a go. I do not regret that decision at all! A great range of online classes available both live and as catch up classes are set at times to suit all. I really value the fact that I can do these classes from my own living room at a time that suit me and I would highly recommend it

Wafa offers a unique combination of exercise, online and in person, learning, advice and support for women by women. I am a member of long standing and continue to benefit from my participation in Wafa. I am immensely proud of what I have achieved through Wafa in terms of my fitness, strength and wellbeing. I can wholeheartedly recommend it to all women who have always wanted to gain strength and fitness in a warm and friendly female strong environment guided by expert and supportive women.

I encourage you to join the wonderful world of WAFA!! I joined nearly 4 years ago and there is no looking back! Many members are long standing which says a lot. Apart from the excellent choice of many classes, there are a fabulous group of women, mostly 45+ age group who are so encouraging and such brilliant company, whilst working out to great music with the best friendly, inspirational coaches. There are many choices of things to do apart from exercise too including: nutritionists, mindset coaches, reset programmes, delicious recipes to follow if you wish and plenty of social interaction too…..lunches, walks, drinks and even occasional Laughter yoga classes!! You can join in person or on-line. It’s a no brainer, WAFA has transformed my life from being a couch potato to a fit, strong, healthy and happy 64 year old woman! I hope to see you in class soon. I’m off to one now!
WAFA is a totally unique fitness club
WAFA is a totally unique fitness club, unlike anything I have tried before. As a more mature woman, intimidated by weights areas in the gym, it introduced me to strength training in a way that made sense and was achievable, even for a 53 year old who had never lifted weights in the gym due to fear of looking silly or hurting myself. Reaching menopause, I knew the expert advice was to incorporate strength training into my life but had absolutely no idea how to do it! I read an article about WAFA in January 2024 and booked a call to find out more. It was one of my best decisions. Anna and her coaches are all knowledgeable, friendly, supportive and approachable. The work that has gone into designing classes that cater for total beginners right up to those used to lifting and striving with heavier weights is truly impressive. As an 'online only' member, the ability to receive advice on correct form and immediate encouragement from the coaches via Zoom makes this so much better than any generic online class. I have been able to take it one weight and movement at a time, with expert guidance, knowing I have experts watching to keep me progressing safely. I would 100% recommend any woman thinking about starting strength training giving it a try.
