Quality bifold doors, well packed... installation instructions could have been a bit more friendly but still we managed to put them together.

External aluminium French doors.
Very happy with my lovely external, aluminium, French doors. My fitter was very impressed with the quality of the doors. Small problem with the lock which has been dealt with promptly. Everyone I had dealings with at Vufold was very helpful and patient with my endless enquiries. I would definitely recommend these doors.

Ordered an Inspire White 2.4m (approx…
Ordered an Inspire White 2.4m (approx 8ft) Internal Bi-fold Doors on 4th November and was told that the doors would be dispatched on 30th November. Received a message from the delivery driver on 1st December in the morning that the van had broken down and would keep be updated. No updates till evening so I sent a message asking about delivery and was told that it would be delivered on 2nd December. The couriers delivered a couple of days later - one door was clearly damaged and another package was open. We returned the damaged door. As we have builders in the house, I did not open the packages that contained the remaining 3 doors. I was told that a replacement would be sent on the 8th of December. Accordingly, I asked my builder to open the packages and start installing the doors expecting that I would get the door as promised. The builder informed me that one of the doors was damaged. In the meantime, the promised door was delivered, but the it was an oak coloured door instead of white! I then called up Vufold to complain about the damaged door and was told that it had crossed the 72 hours limit. I explained that had I got all the door packages in good condition, I would have opened the packages and inspected them but because the delivery was not complete I did not open them till the promised replacement delivery date (the 2nd one). They refused to replace the damaged door and despite me telling them that their 72 hour should be applicable when the entire order has been delivered rather than in parts.
I would seriously avoid this company and would recommend their products based on the experience I have had with them. I have ordered a number of products online and never had any problems with the product, delivery or service, but I can that dealing with this company has been the worst in my experience.

We are very sorry for your experience as a Vufold customer, it was way below the standards we set for ourselves and the way we expect customers to anticipate being treated.
Vehicle breakdowns do happen and this is out of our control, however the communication should have been better.
As you pointed out, as soon as we knew and accepted there was a problem with the first door, we provided a free replacement and dispatched this to you the next working day.
Sadly, additional mistakes were made, for which we fully apologise for everything for which we are responsible.
We have tried our best to rectify things for you by offering to review your case and replace the other damaged door, but you have declined our offer.
Once again, please accept our apologies, having reviewed the whole situation, we see several areas where we could have done better and we will be reviewing these in order to implement improvements.

Genuinely impressive product and service…
Buying a big purchase from a company you don’t know and a product you’ve never seen is quite daunting, but I needn’t have worried. Vufold have provided excellent products as well as an excellent service. We had two windows and a set of external bi-fold doors made to custom sizes. They were made and delivered on schedule. There were a couple of issues with the glazing which again can seem daunting when you’re not dealing with a company face to face, however Vufold were extremely helpful, their communication was excellent and they were extremely quick to rectify everything. They made everything as pain free as possible. Our installer was super impressed with the quality of the products and we are delighted! Would not recommend this company enough.

Ordered one set of doors and very pleased with the service and good value. Our builder was also impressed with the doors, and hence ordered another set. We are working in a conservation area and hence needed timber doors or good quality. There was a slight issue with part of the order but I found customer services to be exceptionally helpful and very prompt. Issue was fully resolved and very quickly. Delivery was well communicated and on time each time. Would use again.

The doors are average quality
The doors are average quality.
Easy to order, online or over the phone.
Delivery on time and fast.
After care service is EXTREMELY BAD! The worst I’ve encountered. The agent was trained on how not to provide any help. It’s the art of saying NO I Can’t hep you with an art.
One of the doors came with a few scratches. Vufold was not willing to replace the door free of charge. I am told I have to pay for a new one, despite it was reported within 72 hours! The reason is simple, - I reported the issue while installing door. And I found out the scratches immediately after unpacking the door.
Word of advice, if you order any doors from Vufold- check all your items during the delivery process and have the person doing the delivery to witness.

We are very sorry that your experience has led you to writing this review and that you are not as satisfied as are the vast majority of our customers. We are always happy to respond to any customer feedback in the hope that we can further improve our services. However, that feedback needs to be fully authentic and corroborated if we are to take on board any criticism about our products and the manner in which members of our team respond to customers. With that in mind, we would like to respond to some points in your review.
You are quite right that the issues you raised where reported to us inside the recommended 72 hours from when a customer takes receipt of their doors. We request this so that we can respond, investigate, and put matters right if we are found to be at fault. We also ask that customers do not install the doors that they claim to be faulty or damaged so that there is no risk of the installation being seen as the cause of the damage or fault reported. Unfortunately, you had already installed the doors before you contacted us about what you refer to in your review as “a few scratches”.
To help us get a better understanding of the reported issue, we requested images of the door. The photographs you provided showed significant scratches, dents, and gouges to both sides of one of the doors, which we would class as substantial damage.
We have gone over the emails and recorded telephone calls with yourself and are a little confused as to when the damage was spotted and why you went ahead with the installation once it was seen. You have stated in your review that you noticed the damage when you unpacked the doors, and yet you told us that your fitter reported the damage to you. You also told us that the damage did not become apparent until they had been fitted and the spotlights had been turned on. We are at a loss as to understand or explain why anyone would go ahead with the installation of such badly damaged doors, doors which we would happily have replaced if it could be shown that they had been delivered to you in that condition.
You later sent us an email stating that you were happy to keep the doors and that the damage could be fixed, which was after we had offered to provide you with a new door at a reduced rate – but you declined our proposal.
In reference to your comments about the approach of our aftercare team, we reviewed all the conversations between yourself and ourselves and believe that our member of staff was very professional throughout, offering to assist you and explaining politely why we could not provide a free replacement door.
We would also like to point out that our Home Owners Manual issued to you on placing your order and the assembly instructions provided for the internal oak doors you purchased, state very clearly that the timber frames should be treated before installation. From the photographs you have provided, it is clear that the instructions have not been followed, which is a shame, as that would have been a perfect opportunity to identify any damage that had occurred prior to installation.
We are always happy to assist our customers in any way we can and the offer of a replacement door at a reduced rate still stands. If you would like to discuss this matter further, please do not hesitate to contact a member of our aftercare team.

Ordered oak bi-fold doors
Ordered oak bi-fold doors, delivery was prompt and easy to order online. Very pleased with doors, great addition dividing lounge and dining room.
When putting hinges on the doors one of them was really stiff and was hard to open. So contacted the company and Martin who dealt with my issue resolved the problem straight away and a new hinge was delivered the next day...fantastic service! Very happy customer and will definitely recommend. Thanks again Vufold.

Excellent service and support - highly recommended
Excellent service right from the initial phone call to the specialist who came to fix the doors.
The lock on my bifold doors had completely gone and as such I had to call Vufold. The agent on the phone was very knowledgeable, and worked with me to sort out an agreed time and date for a specialist to come out. The specialist came out on Thursday and was very respectful of the current Covid situation. He knew exactly what he was doing and managed to fix the doors very quickly. He said that it was actually a fault with the door and not something that I had done and as such would refund me the money that had been charged for him to look at the door. I found this experience really refreshing and cannot rate Vufold highly enough. I am really pleased that I have these doors and feel reassured that if anything goes wrong in future that I would receive the same excellent service.

Came scratched and had paint all over them.
The door frame was damaged upon installation due to them putting the pilot holes in too close to the edge and company claim it's our fault.
Customer service rubbish
Wish I had just paid extra and found a proper company who come and fit them for you. They ship them in from another country so customer service are just glorified sales assistants and probably dont even know how to use a screwdriver let alone install doors.
They look cheap and rubbish aswel not happy

This is the third time that we have responded to what appears to be a series of reviews from you and your husband, and to be honest, we are at a loss as to what your aim or ambition is in creating more of them, given the steps we have taken to try and assist you and our very clear responses to the claims you have made.
Despite us showing clearly, thanks to the information and photographs that you provided, that Vufold is not at fault in this case, you persist in finding platforms in which to promote negative views of our products and services.
Despite us privately and publicly on more than one occasion offering to help you resolve the problem and asking you to get in touch with us, and despite us contacting you directly about the issue that we believe not to be our responsibility, we have yet to hear anything from you or your husband in person.
While we don’t want to go over all the points we have covered before on your husband’s previous reviews, we find it odd that there has been no mention of paint being on the doors until your review – if you want to clarify that with us, we would like to hear further from you. We also feel we should point out that your review suggests that we drilled the pilot holes that caused the damage – which we most certainly do not. The doors are reversible for left or right opening so that customers can hang the doors to suit their individual homes. What we do, is supply a template that fitters or customers can make easy use of to drill the pilot holes themselves. Your chosen fitter managed to do that perfectly with one of the hinges. From the photographs you have supplied, it is clear that the template was not used properly on the second hinge – as you say yourself, the damage was done on installation, so surely this cannot be our responsibility can it?
You also suggest that our doors are not of the highest quality because we import some parts of them. Vufold takes meticulous measures to ensure that our sourcing procedures and dispatching operations are of the highest quality. Last year, only seven out of 13,000 (that is 0.5% of all our door sets) doors were returned to us by customers. We don’t want any of our customers dissatisfied, which is why we have onsite quality and assurance spot checks to make sure our customers get the very best in bi-fold doors, ones that we believe are easily the best quality doors in their price range.
It now appears that other people known to you, who are not Vufold customers, are also writing very similar reviews to yours and your husband’s. We can only conclude from your actions that you are not interested in resolving your problem but are in fact intent on trying to damage our good reputation.
We are very proud of the reputation that Vufold has built up over the years and to have delighted the many thousands of satisfied customers that we have had the pleasure to assist in that time. We will, of course, do whatever we can to safeguard that reputation, which includes responding to reviews and where necessary, taking advice on any negative comments made about our company.
Once again, we are publicly stating our offer to help you if we can with this issue. If you or your husband would like to contact us in person, we would be only too happy to discuss things with you.

Vufold doors are great, but the service is even better.
We bought 3 sets of bifold doors from Vufold about 2 years ago. Two were special orders with triple glazed internal blinds and one set of internal doors. The doors look fabulous and very contemporary. The service was good and the company delivered well in time for our build. 2 years on the doors still look great, but one of the internal blinds stopped working and became stuck. Vufold provided excellent service throughout the issue. They provided a way for me to check the doors during the Covid pandemic. When it was confirmed there was an issue they provided a temporary replacement glass while mine was fixed and returned and refitted once it was done. During the process they kept me informed and dealt with my issue safely and efficiently sending their guys down on a 10 hour round trip. I don't like providing reviews for standard service, I think that should be expected, also I like to see how products hold up over time, but Vufold deserve this review and I would recomend them to anyone interested in good products backed by great service if you need it.
