Salesperson was helpful up to the point of purchase but contacted me too much for my liking. After purchase, she would not answer an email. Received my order with one item missing but after notifying shipping, the item was shipped without question. Products look well made and as advertised however I have yet to install it.

THIS COMPANY IS TERRIBLE!!!! If you need railings go somewhere else. we ordered the railings for our project in January. We sent pictures, measurements, drawings etc. We filled out all of their order forms with dimensions as well. After we received the order in May! they were missing a crucial corner post. then after contractor began installing the posts he realized that most of the posts were made wrong and actually hung down 1/2 inch below the skirt board of deck. Also the corner posts were all made wrong as well. After several phone calls and emails with our salesman, we were referred to Amanda Xander in customer support. We explained the issues and she told us that they cannot alter the shoe plates. She then told us we would have to get all new posts and brackets. When we asked for drawings before approving the new posts she assured me they would be sent right over before the end of the day. After receiving nothing from her, 3 more emails were sent the next day. We finally received a drawing at 730 or 8pm the next evening. 3 more emails later to her with no response, we finally called again. She told me it would take another 2 days in engineering (for stock parts i dont know what they were engineering) and then an additional 7 business days till they would be ready for shipping! My customer has been waiting for these railings so she can list her home. what a terrible company to deal with. I asked if this could be expedited in any way and was told no. I will be driving 2.5 hours each way to get the parts as soon as they are ready because I believe in doing whatever I can to help out a customer of mine. This company obviously doesn't believe in this. The only good thing I can say is that they are willing to send the replacement parts at no cost which they should

Ordering was very easy, and processed quickly. Unfortunately the experience went downhill from there. Although I had been very specific on the date needed and assured this was no problem, when it switched from sales to production I was immediately informed that date was absolutely impossible. After spending several hours on phone calls and emails, customer service came through and the systems were delivered on time. Everything was packed well on pallets and clearly marked.
We started to install the posts and quickly realized they did not fit the staircase. After speaking with customer service, we had to spend hours making brackets to accomodate the posts on the sides of the staircase.
Next problem, one of the posts was the wrong size. It had been made too short. At this point I was handed over to a production supervisor, who is a terrific assett to the company. After a couple of calls a new post was made, and expedited to arrive in 5 days. Frustrating when you are in the middle of construction.
Next major problem, all our risers were cut incorrectly. They were cut a half inch too short. To speed up the process we bought new ones locally.
Some of the hardware for the railing had too few pieces shipped, so again we had to wait on that.
Eventually we had everything put together and installed. The end product is superb. Extremely high quality and looks gorgeous.
To make things right. we were reimbursed for all of the incorrectly made product.
I think there was some disbelief that so many errors had been made witht the order, and hopefully some quality controls have been improved to assure this doesn't happen to someone else.
As myself and a friend did all of the work ourselves, the time lags were just frustrating, but had we hired a contractor could have cost us a great deal of expense.
With all of the problems, I would highly reccomend the product and company. They admitted their mistakes and made things right.
I will be building a new deck shortly and will certainly use the product again.

Very willing to be patient with me to make sure all the details are clearly understood and match exactly what I was looking for in the finished product. Very quick response time to all inquires and shipping. Quite unusual in this time of COVID-19 where many contractors and suppliers and less than willing to go the extra mile to be helpful and to make themselves available for support and prompt delivery.

Very nice product. Used metal cable railing for my ipe deck. Salesperson was very known and helpful. Delivery was prompt. Took 2 days to install approximately 40 feet of railing. Beautiful and well built

We used Viewrail's railings in 4 places in our new house (3 deck railings and one stair). The railings are perfect in style for our house and very good quality. Their customer service (when one package went astray in shipping) was also excellent.

Great product, excellent customer service, and support, good price. My project turned out great and looks fantastic.
Great detail with personalized instruction set, even when I had a small issue (my fault) customer service response was quick and fast to remedy.
Go with View Rail you will not be disappointed.

My carpenter is literally having to redrill holes through the metal posts because the brackets at the bottom do not line up with the holes. Nightmare. Do you know how difficult it is to drill through metal? Many more issues as well but that one takes the cake. You have been warned.

Your website is very quick and practical to use and the services of your customers are very quick and reliable. But because of your low-speed website page loading, I'm not happy with you.

I was impressed!! The help on the design details and the quick turnaround on price was a great first impression. The level of detail in the installation instructions and the quality of the product was excellent. The installation tools were even included. Now, this is not a cheap product, but it is a high quality product that looks great when installed and will get a lot of compliments!

I installed about 85 linear feet of cable railing around an elevated pool deck. The products are very high quality and were packed/shipped with care. My order arrived on time without any issues. Great products, great service, great experience.

Horrible company to work with. We ordered this railing for our home through their sales rep Anthony. We sent him the exact specifications for our railing and we received subpar product and missing pieces on top of completely wrong length of railing. Calling customer service was a nightmare. The lady had absolutely no clue what she was talking about and it was very evident she was trying to cover up Viewrail’s mistake. She claimed we confirmed the specifications but could not provide the proof of said confirmation. In turn we had to pay even MORE to get the right product that this company messed up. I am very, very disappointed for the amount of money we paid for Viewrail to in turn totally mess up our order. Extremely dissatisfied with this company.

I am a contractor and Viewrail was specified on a project. They were a nightmare to deal with once you got past the sales people. Engineering could not work with the seismic codes in California and we ended up doing the engineering for them. When the glass rails finally came they were missing a bunch of the clips, and some of the glass was cut to the wrong dimensions. They then charged us again for the missing clips and wanted to charge for the incorrect glass. I ended up having a local glass company cut the replacement glass. Don't be fooled by the nice website and sales people, it is a nightmare after they take your credit card details. They maybe ok for a very simple basic stair, but that is it. Save yourself a lot of frustration and don't work with this company.

I really wanted a unique and stylish cable rail for my new deck.
I cold called them and began designing a railing system.
My first contact was Rob Wallace. After my order was submitted and paid for I couldn’t get him on the phone. He stopped taking my calls. The main number would ring and ring. Finally sent me to customer service. Shelley was assigned to me.
Making design changes or adding new parts with someone in customer service versus my designer left me high and dry.
What happened you ask?
I was incorrectly delivered critically important corner posts. Stopped my project. This happened twice.
When I got the replacement post they were wrong! Another delay.
I asked for some kind of discount and they said no.
So I have 6 useless posts that I have to pay to dispose of.
Ron Wallace was a nice guy but once my design was done and PAID for he wouldn’t take my calls.
Lastly I designed a new cocktail handrail that won’t bend or deflect when you lean on it. It’s really nice.
