Everything about the process of working with Viewrail was a pleasure! From the first point of contact, through design and finally installation, it was a wonderful experience

Having used Viewrail before I was already familiar with the quality and ease of installation. You get a couple extra of all hardware instead of exact amounts. Lord forbid you should drop a crimp lug and can't find it.... I also noticed the hardware comes packaged in screw top clear plastic containers now instead of paper cups with lids. A small thing but demonstrates the attention to detail Viewrail employs. Clear instructions and quality components makes installation easy for anyone with a little mechanical aptitude. This was my second project using Viewrail and I will be using it again for any hand rail jobs that come up!

Outstanding customer service, particularly in understanding the options and getting the order correct.
Website easy to navigate.
Product shipped on time.
Install not difficult.
Results quite handsome.
This Viewrail application created the architectural interest intended in the staircase design for our new home construction.

I highly recommend ViewRail. After checking local options, we were happy to find them. We think the railing is good and pricing was very competitive, sales process was very smooth and the local installer did a good job.

The worst experience ever.
They demand full payment for the installation in advance and then never complete the work. We’ve been waiting over two months for them to resolve a problem they caused during installation, and they never show up — leaving us waiting and unable to finish the house only because of them.

They don’t respond to messages, completely ignore the situation, and refuse to take responsibility. They personally took the measurements, visited the site, and confirmed that everything was correct, yet still refuse to complete the project.

Avoid this company at all costs — never purchase anything from them.

I ordered cable railing for my deck, stairs, and screen porch. Everything went perfectly. The detailed instructions itemized every step. The parts were machined to perfection. I would not hesitate to order from ViewRail again if the need ever arises.

I have had the pleasure of working with Viewrail a few times. Mark DeLeeuw is the person I deal with on every occasion. I work for a contractor in Nokomis Florida and Mark has been amazing at getting me the info I need and the product on time. Viewrail's product have been top notch every time as well. I highly recommend using Viewrail.

Love the stairs overall, except the railings are not symmetrical, got a handful of excuses, nothing was discussed with me because it's always a problem getting someone on the phone, everything is email, so you better know everything you want before you order because they also make you pay 100% up front so when your not happy when thier done there's nothing you can do about it either.

Viewrail representatives from the initial contact in sales through engineering and project management did an outstanding job! They were all very knowledgeable and helpful throughout the entire process.

I got it, I am a small business owner that will pay premium price for good products and service specially if is local or made in USA. Despite Viewrail was the highest of all quotes that a got. You know the phrase ( You get what you pay for it) But not exactly!!!
Guess what, this local company doesn't have Google reviews when you Google them online the only reviews are by anonymous clients on their website.
Why, how did that happen?
Very easy. Now we're big and will pay Google to remove that option when you are looking for us on Google.
The company is total disaster. If I knew what I will deal with I would buy from Alibaba and pay half price. They are ok until you pay the first payment!!! After that they are undiscoverable. Phone calls, voicemail, emails. No one will get back my project manager Nate Kropf disappeared for more than a month. Your time lines are nothing to them. The only person responding to my problems was Jailyn Rolle my sales rep. I forgot to mention I made two orders with them because I believe in local businesses. Unfortunately the first order was wrong the cover plates on the base railing supposed to be ( Standard Silver) by I got Gray!!! After a payment of 12 thousand dollars should I contact them or just swallow it. Then I contacted my sales rep he was very understanding but offered me to pay for a new set of different color covers because they don't accept returns. Let me clarify here. Those items are standard sizes not custom pre cuts that they can take back and send me the wright once with no problem. I signed for that so that's enough for them to tell a client that placed two orders total costs of 15 thousand dollars to F...off.
Then the Manager comes to play Alex Stout this person keeps telling me the same thing over and over, takes him forever to respond to a simple email. I offered a solution twice they're not willing to even negotiate something that may be a mutual mistake.
Don't waist your time doing business with Viewrail they don't deserve it !

After a fairly rough start with ViewRail, they really came through; in particular, Angie was fantastic. Great customer support. Great product. Easy installation. It's transformed my entire house. I can only assume that the others leaving such bad reviews are leaving details out because they were pretty good to me. I couldn't be happier right now.

So incredibly frustrated with Viewrail. Their instructions are incredibly complicated and not personalized, their quality assurance is terrible - they sent me the wrong parts, and trying to get it fixed was a nightmare. There is only one person who deals with installation help, and it takes him a week to respond to emails and texts. They do not seem at all interested in actual customer support. It has taken me over a month to install my railing because of the countless errors and delays in support. I would never recommend them if you value your own sanity.

This is a first class, professional, efficient and most importantly integral company to do business with. I am a high-end custom homebuilder and have used Viewrail on several different projects, all successful. The support after the sale is what sets them apart. Two thumbs up and a smile from me and my clients. Thank you!

Very frustrated with the outcome of the product I recently purchased. The pieces came mis-labeled on almost half of them. Half of the posts for the railing have no holes drilled for the cable. The ones that do have holes, half of them have 14 drill holes and the others have 7. Complete disaster for installation and now fabrication has to be done in order to make the product work. I have learned that this is a common issue with Viewrail and I will certainly not be ordering another product.

Customer service, design and install was top notch across the board. Our stairs have elevated our home aesthetic while still matching functionality. Thank you!

Lots of things. Packaging was horrendous and led to multiple remakes. Then measurements were wrong; then glass shipped without holes drilled although they were for stairs; then purchased 9/16" glass but received 1/2" glass claiming it was "correct" and "nominal" measurements; then despite disputing miss measurements were stuck with paying the remake price or going without for our generally finished project. Not a good experience.

POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE AND BAD PRODUCT.
Order stair treads for our model home we built. After just 1 month after installation I started to see cracks on both landings. Called to ask them to send someone to fix them and was told because we had stained them and not them the warranty was void. There was never anything in writing in their ads or instructions that says we could not have our stain person stain them. Buy from someone local that will stand behind their product.

BUYER BEWARE !!! Don’t be fooled by the pretty pictures ! This is one of the worst companies to deal with. One major mistake after the other and they could care less about customer satisfaction. It was required that we use their ”certified“ installer and he basically skipped town after receiving our deposit. I have spent the last 4 weeks calling corporate trying to get my money back while addressing all the errors with our order. They sent incorrect material and delayed our job… the list of screw ups goes on and on. I keep hoping management will step up and do the right thing but after 4 weeks its not looking likely…
Hey Len Morris (CEO) if you reading this please call me theres so much more I’d like to tell you. You should be concerned if this is the way your company does business.

I was looking to add a glass and metal rail system to my small home project of duplexing my apartment with the basement. Called up Viewrail based on a friend’s recommendation. Good response time to request a quote. I gave Damon my dimensions and what I was looking for. He got back to me with a quote a bit higher than I was thinking it should cost. I asked him a couple questions via text and that’s where it ended. No “I’ll get back to you” or “let me work on that”. Just no response. After 3 days of no contact, I called another company, that came back with, not only a lower quote, drove a rep to my home to discuss my options with installation as well vs. Viewrail’s install it yourself cost.
