My labrador (true to type) ate hot cross buns we *thought* were out of reach. Dr Alex was great in helping confirm we should take her to the vet. We didn't realise quite how much she'd eaten and though we knew not to let them have raisins, we didn't understand just how serious it was. She helped us make the call to go in on a public holiday and it was worth it!

Extremely fast and professional responses - I felt at ease knowing I had access to someone to talk to - Kaya is all fine.

Our kitten accidentally ate a piece of plastic. We shared the situation and greatly appreciated the helpful suggestions! Thankfully, the kitten is doing well now.

Our dog got stung or bitten by something for the first time on a Sunday when we were out of town and swelled up. They were very helpful in making us reassured that she was ok although looked terrible. Send through photos and videos asked us to check certain things. They are also notified out Vets at home who checked with us first thing Monday. And they also checked in the following day.

Living in a remote community in North East Arnhem Land NT without access to a Vet made our situation very difficult.
Out little dog was having a heart attack / stroke.
We contacted VetChat & were immediately connected & speaking with a Vet via Facetime.
Expert diagnosis & instruction was given & we managed to stabilise the dog.
A comprehensive report compiled by VetChat was forwarded to a Vet of our nomination. We have now received the medication required.
Our dog is recovering well.

Saved a callout and saved our worries.
Our dog got into a bad packet of chocolate at 8:30pm. With a new sick baby in bed I was worried about my dog but also couldn’t face a callout if It wasn’t urgent. Speaking with the vet eased my worries, it saved a late night callout, both my babies my dog and child could stay at home and be safe. I greatly appreciated it!

I contacted VetChat on a Sunday evening after I suspected my cat had been poisoned with a moss path chemical cleaner.
The vet was fantastic, but more than that, the app was incredible and I could quickly upload pictures of Milo and the chemical container itself, which enabled them to see what was applied.

They were able to inform me it was likely corrosive and how to support him. They also stayed with me online while I did what they advised. It was better and more economical than our usual face to face vet appointments in my home town.

The following day they emailed to check on Milo and how he was recovering.

I think this service is second to none. I would highly recommend them but also would like to take the opportunity to thank them for their unfailing help and support.

This service is prompt and efficient. We have used them twice now and it alleviates so much stress experienced prior to calling or messaging with them. Both of these were complimentary with our pet insurance.
They are very thorough and knowledgeable, our last interaction was with messaging and they got us to look at our dogs gums capillary refill time and send a photo through also. Very impressed

My dog was discharged from the vet after a seizure and had significant anxiety and would not stop pacing. I wasn't sure if he needed to return or how to help. I was connected with Dr Gous in 2 min for a video chat and she was incredibly kind, helpful and patient with my questions. I am so grateful for this service (accessed through my pet insurance at no cost) and will use it again for any questions I have. Wish I had considered it sooner.

Great service with the Dr online, it’s an awesome idea especially for after hours appointments instead of spending $100’s of dollars in emergency.

I’ve used Vetchat, the online veterinary service, several times, and each experience has been exceptional. Most recently, when my mini dachshund Rocky accidentally ingested grapes from the backyard (which are toxic to dogs), the online vet immediately provided the crucial support and guidance I needed. Thanks to their quick response, I was able to bring Rocky straight to the nearest vet hospital. To top it off, Vetchat followed up the next day to check on Rocky’s condition, showing genuine care and concern. Their service is fantastic—professional, compassionate, and responsive. My puppy got her 2nd vaccination and she started to develop flu like symptoms 2 days after that. She was very congested and being a first time dog guardian I was extremely worried. It was the weekend and our vet clinic was closed. I decided to use VetChat to ask a veterinarian if I needed to take my puppy to emergency. I got a reply under 5 minutes and got the reassurance that my puppy was only having a mild reaction to the vaccine.
