If i wanted to jump through hoops id join the circus
Not only did I have jump through endless hoops to apply for an account it took over 3 weeks of back and fourth to get things set up. I signed up on the assumption my money would go into a high interest earner for two years only to be told at the final hurdle once my money was in the bank oh no only 10,000 can go in it the rest of the money has to sit in a poor interest earner account. Then I was told in not so many words like it or lump it or close your account. The terms and conditions stating about 15,000 remaining in the account at all times is poorly written and confusing, me and my wife thought it meant you had to add 15,000 to open the account before you could transfer your cash into a two year fixed bond, so I was repeat am not happy I feel let down and annoyed after all the weeks of hassle to get to this point now to be told its tough cookies.

I am sorry to hear about your experience and the delay you felt during the account application process. We always aim to process applications as quickly and smoothly as possible, as we understand that customers value an efficient and straightforward journey.
Having reviewed the correspondence relating to your application, I can see that in our email of 19th August, we included the following requirement within the information provided:
"All Trusts must open a Trust Reserve Deposit Account (paying a rate of 0.50%) and maintain a minimum balance of £15,000 to access our other savings solutions."
While I appreciate that you are disappointed with the outcome, I can confirm that this information was included in our initial email to you.
We fully understand if, in light of this, you decide not to proceed with the account and instead choose an alternative provider. Whatever you decide, we appreciate your interest and thank you for considering us.
