Amazing quality phone and arrived very quickly

I sent an iPhone to this company to sell back in June, and it is now 10 weeks later and I still haven’t received my payment.

They received and inspected the phone, made me an offer, and I accepted the offer. Despite this, I’m still waiting for my money. I’ve emailed the company twice, and each time I’ve been given further excuses and delays regarding the payment.

Ten weeks is completely unacceptable, particularly when the phone has already been checked, valued and the offer accepted.

I would strongly recommend staying away from this company. My experience has been extremely frustrating, and I certainly wouldn’t use them again.

Sent iPhone to Ur to sell and I was sent an offer quickly, which was less then quoted online. I rejected their first offer and then received an increased offer which I accepted. They state payment terms are 14-30 working days. However we are now at 55 working days and I have not been paid. I have contacted them
and they state payment is in a Que as they have delays. Requested for my phone to be returned, but they have said this is not possible. So they have took my phone and not paid me a penny. Do not use this company to sell your phone.

I traded my phone in via UR, explaining the condition clearly. Despite quoting a price that includes the condition, they offered me half of that price they're having issues processing payments and can't process my payment for another 6 months.

Do not send your old phones to sell have today had email stating money by 27 feb 2027!! We have already been waiting 10 weeks this is not acceptable practice

After taking my phone and promising payment in 30 days, they have now said that I won't receive payment until February 2027!!!

I have requested return of my property since they are breaching their agreement and are actively deceptive in how long they will wait to pay.

If I could give zero stars I would, this company is a scam and will steal your device without giving payment. DO NOT trust them. They are liars and thieves, they have a phone number also ironically that just tells you to email. You will be robbed if you go with them. Having to go through the legal route now.

Avoid selling your phone to this company. I was originally offered £150, they then reduced this to £85.
Payment was advised at 14-30 working days, this was the end of June.
I have now chased seeing as it is getting on for 50 working days and they are telling me that the payment won’t be processed until February. This company is an absolute joke.

Avoid, avoid, avoid. The payment terms for trading in a phone are stated as 14-30 working, but I have been advised my payment will take around 7 months.

If I could give it less than 1* I would. I’ve been waiting now over 2 months for the payment and every time I ask them, they say it’s in the queue to pay me and they can’t manually process the payment. It seems like a massive scam. So far still no payment despite many emails back and forth.

Still waiting 65 days for payment and now told to wait until January 2027
I am extremely disappointed with my experience with UR.
I sent my phone to UR and accepted their trade-in offer, with the understanding that I would be paid within the agreed 30-day timescale. It has now been 65 days and I still have neither my money nor my phone.
After repeatedly chasing them, I have now been told that my payment has been scheduled for 11 January 2027 — meaning I am potentially being expected to wait several more months for money that should have been paid weeks ago.
What is particularly concerning is that UR have openly admitted that they have “overstretched ourselves and taken on too many devices”, resulting in a backlog of payments.
I completely understand that businesses can experience problems, but their internal decision to take on more devices than they could afford to pay for is not my responsibility. I held up my side of the agreement by sending my phone to them; they should hold up theirs by paying me within the agreed timeframe.
Even more concerning, they are telling me that they cannot return my phone because the offer has been accepted, while at the same time refusing to pay me for it until January.
I find this completely unacceptable. I have effectively handed over a valuable device and am now being told to wait months for payment, with no option to have my phone returned.
I would strongly urge anyone considering using UR to be aware of the potential delays and, in particular, the fact that their stated payment timescales may not be honoured.
I have given UR the opportunity to resolve this directly, but at this point I am extremely unhappy with the way this has been handled and will be pursuing the matter further if they do not resolve it promptly.
UR: I fulfilled my part of the agreement. I expect you to fulfil yours.

The only good reviews from this company are the people buying the devices from those that have sold to this company. So how they state they have no funds to pay the people who the phones previously belonged to does not make sense.

A full scam. I am taking this matter further legally.

The phone arrived earlier than forecast and in a virtually as new cosmetic condition. Battery life is proving to be very good, lasts me all day with power to spare. Very pleased all round

Sent phone in mid August, was told I’d receive payment by early August. Still not received payment and I just keep being told sorry for the delay and my payment is in a queue.

Definitely a scam. I'm currently 2 months past my payment date, with no solid resolution from the team despite calls and emails. Would not recommend. Would have rathered gotten less from another seller than gone through this with ur. Never again

⭐ 1 STAR – UR.CO.UK HAVE HAD MY PHONE FOR OVER 100 DAYS AND STILL HAVEN’T PAID ME

I would give ZERO stars if I could.

I traded in my iPhone 14 Pro Max with UR.co.uk for a substantial amount of money. I was told I would receive my payment within 30 days.

It has now been over 100 DAYS, and I am still waiting for the money I am owed.

What makes this even more unacceptable is that UR’s own terms state that payment should be completed within 14–30 working days once the condition and valuation have been confirmed.

So how is over 100 days acceptable?

The customer service I have received has been absolutely appalling. The people I have dealt with have been rude, arrogant and extremely abrupt, and getting a straight answer has been virtually impossible. There seems to be absolutely no urgency or accountability when it comes to paying customers what they are owed.

And to make matters worse, I have been told that I cannot get my phone back either.

So UR currently have my valuable iPhone, I don’t have the phone, and I still don’t have the money I was promised.

That is completely unacceptable.

I have been patient for far longer than I should have had to be. This is no longer a simple “payment delay” — over 100 days is taking the absolute piss.

I am now taking this matter further. If UR do not resolve this promptly, I will be seeking advice from Citizens Advice/Trading Standards and will consider pursuing the money through the appropriate legal channels, including a formal Letter Before Claim and court proceedings if necessary. Citizens Advice specifically recommends a formal letter before claim before commencing a small claim. (Citizens Advice)

I have kept records of the transaction, communications and the timeframe involved, so I have evidence of what has happened.

UR — you have had my phone long enough. Pay me what I am owed.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using UR.co.uk thinks very carefully before sending them a valuable phone.

My experience has been an absolute disgrace from start to finish.
