DO NOT USE this company.

I sent my iPhone off at the start of June. Agreed a lower amount on 11th June.
- over 20 emails telling me they are very busy.
- Take 3-4 days to reply but then it’s a generic email, often without a name.
- Chased weekly and now told I will be paid the £360 owed to me on 22nd January 2027!!
- That would be over 7 months delay in payment for no obvious reason!
- Please DO NOT use as it’s stressful and avoidable.

I hope this is useful and helps others not fall in the same trap I did.

Can you imagine if CEX said they would take your phone but won’t pay you for it for 7 months…. They would go into administration in no time.

Total scam and MUST be avoided.

I wish I could do a minus rating. Sent our phones in May/June accepted the offer on 10th June, now I've been told it'll be April next year!! Just keep getting fobbed off 'we're really busy' 'we've had soo many sent to us'. Absolut con!!

I sent my phone to UR as a trade-in via tracked delivery, and UR confirmed they had received it. The agreed payment was £300.

Despite repeatedly chasing, I have now been waiting over six weeks for payment. I was initially told there was a backlog, but after escalating the matter I have now been told that the earliest payment date is 8 April 2027 due to payment delays.

So UR currently has my phone, I have neither my phone nor the £300 payment, and I am being asked to wait many more months for money that is owed to me.

Their customer service has been polite, but being told they cannot provide a reasonable payment timescale and that I may have to wait until April 2027 is completely unacceptable.

I have retained all correspondence, including confirmation that UR received my phone and their email confirming the payment delay and expected payment date.

I will update this review if and when the matter is resolved and I receive my £300.

Sold my I phone 15 to this awful company if I knew there shocking form of not paying people on time I wouldn’t have bothered using this company . August I sent my phone to this company after stating it was immaculate condition and having 1 price 285. After inspection they claim there were issues with it and gaveme a reviewed price 180 I accepted although I had my doubts on this price I feel they just get out of paying full amount to get phone cheaper . My 14-30 time frame has lapsed over and I’ve emailed asking when my payment is coming. I’ve been emailed back saying 12/3/2027 . This is appalling Why the hell should I wait this long that 7 months they not paying up and they have my phone which they are not sending back as I agreed to sell . Absolute joke this company have u till 14 th sept to pay me or im going to trading standards like many other poor people claim they are on here rightly so to

Avoid this website entirely. I sold my device to this company where they gave me an insulting price for a near perfect item worth more than £300. Originally I was quoted £314 but by the time they wormed their way around it I agreed to £255.

This was on the 3rd of June 2026.

By July 22nd I informed the company that I will be starting a Small Claims Court case to obtain my owed amount.

Today 1st of September 2026 I was just paid after the company received a Judgement from Small Claims Court.

Having experienced this and noticed how many people on here have left a negative review I will be starting a full investigation into this company, including visiting the address and fully exposing their company.

All details will also be forwarded to the police.

i have ordered 2 iphones from this website on the 26th it has still not arrived and its now the 1st of september

I got a good price for my old phone - that was the best part of my experience so far. I sent my phone to UR at the beginning of June for a sell for cash, they received it on 10th June. When I sent it the website said 7 day payment. After going through the checking process, payment was authorised on 18th June. After lots of emails chasing and an automated response telling me that payments are taking longer than expected on the 23rd July, I received an email saying my payment was “nearly complete” and “moving through the final stages of processing.” Since then, I’ve had repeated generic updates and no progress.
After chasing multiple times, I’ve now been told I won’t be paid until 30th October. UR also confirmed they cannot return my device and cannot move the date forward.
This is an unreasonable delay for a trade‑in service, and the communication has been inconsistent and misleading. I’m left without my phone and without payment for months. Very disappointing experience.

Sold phone back in may, still awaiting payment.
My phone was in perfect condition, they marked it down alot due to scratches, which there was none, had been in a 360case from brand new.
Accepted their offer as couldn't be bothered to resend off elsewhere..
Well over 3months and awaiting payment.

I sold my phone to ur.co.uk for £335.
They emailed to confirm the trade on 22June 2026
After having chased them for payment I received an email today saying that my place in the queue for payment means I likely will not receive my money until 9th March 2027
8 months!! This is a joke

iPhone 14+ purple was exactly as described, been using a few months now and no problems. They were really good re charging lead as it came with new type and they sent me the old type as that’s what I needed. I thought I’d already reviewed as I was promised a case and protector if I did but mb it didn’t go through 😊 so hoping this still comes as promised. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this company can only give 5 but 10 is more appropriate. Delivery price was great too 👍

Awful company. Was told payment would be made within 3 weeks. After a month of me chasing was told it would take 6 months! Never use!

Agreed payment in 14–30 working days. Kept fobbing me off — then said March 2027. Admitted debt in writing: "case of when, not if". Just holding cash with zero justification. Avoid. Started taking legal action if payment not made by 17sep

I have been waiting over a week past there own stated terms of 14-30 busines days to process the payment from recycling my old phone with them. Looks like this is a commom issue from other reveiws on this platform Steer clear and will have to look at alternatives ways such as small claims court

All seemed legit in the beginning. When they received the phone, they offered me a lower price, I accepted it anyways, its been months and they havent paid me... Essentially they basically stole my phone. When I message them I keep getting replies like payments are taking longer than usual and to wait. It's a total scam.

Time for payment for selling my Pixel 9 handset has been over two months and still pending. Communications have dropped off completely and I am genuinely concerned I won't receive my funds. Would not recommend if you're looking for anything other than money paid 5/6 months down the line.

I sent them my iPhone 15 Pro and we agreed on a price, it’s now been over 2 months and I’ve still not received my payment.

Other people who have sent them there device are also mentioning the same issue of not receiving the payment.

I sold my Google pixel phone to this company back in may this year and haven't heard a thing back after asking for my payment that's never arrived. DONOT trust tis company to pay you. It's now the eve of 1st September and even though I have sent them a perfect pixel mobile they offered alot more for they told me it had scratches on the face that it didn't have to knock me down to £100. And that was back in may 2026. Due to an excuse of them having too many mobiles coming in my payment was going to be delayed. I have chased this continuously since letting my phone go even over looking the fact of poor excuse about scratches when it's been kept in a case with a cover it's entire life. Even provided original box and headphones that came with it. I am still waiting my £100 from may and now it's September. Absolutely RUBBISH at paying people what they owe them. This week if I don't get my money ey I will be reporting this comp at to trading standards and then taking action to get what I am owed. It's now a matter of principle about my payment and the fact this company doesn't pay what's due. Do not recommend them and this sale has become a saga that they think is funny to drag on for months without paying what has been agreed. Sharks and lets see how they enjoy trading standards and then even claims court and bailiffs just to get what's owed to me. Never going to use this bunch of idiots again. My e mails asking where my money is means I get a mail stating the payment is being processed. What crap. I now feel like my mobile has been stolen as I haven't been paid for my goods I posted to them due to no money for the sale that's been agreed. Total sharks and rubbish and do not use this bunch of amateurs, you will be waiting for money that never comes. Would be interesting to see if they have sold my mobile and just pocketed the cash.

Avoid sending old phones. Promised to pay 14-30 days. Still not paid up. Need reporting
