⭐ 1 STAR – UR.CO.UK HAVE HAD MY PHONE FOR OVER 100 DAYS AND STILL HAVEN’T PAID ME

I would give ZERO stars if I could.

I traded in my iPhone 14 Pro Max with UR.co.uk for a substantial amount of money. I was told I would receive my payment within 30 days.

It has now been over 100 DAYS, and I am still waiting for the money I am owed.

What makes this even more unacceptable is that UR’s own terms state that payment should be completed within 14–30 working days once the condition and valuation have been confirmed.

So how is over 100 days acceptable?

The customer service I have received has been absolutely appalling. The people I have dealt with have been rude, arrogant and extremely abrupt, and getting a straight answer has been virtually impossible. There seems to be absolutely no urgency or accountability when it comes to paying customers what they are owed.

And to make matters worse, I have been told that I cannot get my phone back either.

So UR currently have my valuable iPhone, I don’t have the phone, and I still don’t have the money I was promised.

That is completely unacceptable.

I have been patient for far longer than I should have had to be. This is no longer a simple “payment delay” — over 100 days is taking the absolute piss.

I am now taking this matter further. If UR do not resolve this promptly, I will be seeking advice from Citizens Advice/Trading Standards and will consider pursuing the money through the appropriate legal channels, including a formal Letter Before Claim and court proceedings if necessary. Citizens Advice specifically recommends a formal letter before claim before commencing a small claim. (Citizens Advice)

I have kept records of the transaction, communications and the timeframe involved, so I have evidence of what has happened.

UR — you have had my phone long enough. Pay me what I am owed.

I would strongly recommend that anyone considering using UR.co.uk thinks very carefully before sending them a valuable phone.

My experience has been an absolute disgrace from start to finish.

Very fast delivery . Phone arrived Saturday , I was told Sunday when I ordered it . Can`t believe its not brand new . Absolutely delighted with the phone and the price paid .

DO NOT “SELL” YOUR PHONE TO THIS COMPANY!! - It’s a complete SCAM. I’m currently 48 working days from the date we agreed on a figure (after trying to low-ball me three times). They take your phone, then sell it on quickly and never pay. When I ask for an update, they can only say “their accounts team are working through a backlog- we can’t provide an updates” - (genuine quote).

Very high quality refurnished phone that was sent to me in 2 days. the phone was loose in the packaging box with a cable and shaking around in the post which could have damaged it. I would recomment some bubble wrap if sending other phones like this.
Luckerly the phone was ok and working well.

I am now approaching 90 days since payment was agreed. I have sent numerous emails, raised official complaint and sent a letter before action. Still awaiting payment.

I ordered a refurbished mobile phone it arrived on time and in excellent condition.

Non payers for trade-in phones. My agreed trade in-date was 24th June 2026. Despite numerous requests & having received an email, dated 5th August, saying I was in the final stages of payment, I haven’t received any money from them to date. (29th August2026)
I have issued a formal complaint to Ur co.uk for payment which expires in 1 day.
I received a reply to my formal complaint, saying payment for my iPhone maybe in January 2027.
So in one day I will be informing Trading Standards & issuing a Claim in Court for payment & costs. I shall also be contacting Rogue Traders & similar sites for public viewing.
Please save yourself the hassle & don’t use this company

This is my second review. If I could give -100 stars I would. I sent my iPhone to them in May. They received the device since the 1st of June it is now basically the 1st of September and they have refused to pay me or send my device back. Even though they told me payment would be 7 days initially. They sent a message on 10th of July claiming my payment was nearly ready and then when I reached out they told me it was a systems error. I sent a letter of claim to court they ignored it. So now I’ve filed a case against them via small claims court. Let’s see if they ignore that too. I’d absolutely urge you to think twice before selling your phone. They are clearly rogue traders.

Been waiting since mid June for payment. Lots of emails same answer ….. delays etc.
I’ve ended up going small claims court to get money. It would appear this is the only way you will get any money from them.

Do not use, this site is a scam site. Taken phone not made payment and stopped all communication. Disgraceful

Still waiting for payment on 2 phones, it’s now been over 90days.
They can neither provide me with a payment date, or return the items.

Sold my phone 30 days ago their supposed payment timeline now been told 27th Jan 2027 this is scammers big time im making a court claim against them

I sold my iPhone to ur.co.uk and they received it on 18th June. Their own terms state payment takes 14 to 30 working days. It has now been over two months, and I have still not received payment. Due to backlogs in payments, they say I will receive payment by 9 Oct! This is still not acceptable. If have to, I will escalate this case directly to Trading Standards via Citizens Advice.

This is the 2nd review I’ve left and just to literate to anyone thinking about using “UR” the bloody DONT
I had an email this morning (as I guess many more would have) saying “your payment is in the final stages and we expect you to receive your money on 22nd January 2027” are they taking the piss 🤷‍♂️ final stages HUH what a laugh!! They never respond to emails to me anymore so luckily ive kept every correspondence from them and have forward them to a solicitor and to trading standards for them to deal with as clearly they’re just a bunch of thieves and scammers!! I’ve also gave my solicitor and trading standards their phone number,email address and postal address so let’s homing the scamming sods get closed down!!!!
