Terrible experience – Sent my iPhone 15 in June and still no payment 

I sent my iPhone 15 off on the 26th of June, and months later, I am still empty-handed with zero payment received. Communication is virtually non-existent, customer support gives endless excuses or blanks you completely, and they are holding onto expensive hardware without coughing up what they owe.
It feels less like a legitimate trade-in service and more like they are withholding money and devices. Do yourself a massive favor, protect your tech and your cash, and avoid these thieves at all costs!

Had my phone months and months. This is a complete scam. They’ll pay you out in 7 days, then 14 and then due to high demand in 28. 28 days was a long time ago. I’ve demanded my phone back and they’ve said no due to the work that’s been done on it. I know for a fact it didn’t need any work doing to it. Emails to them are no longer getting any response. I have a feeling this is some idiot in a shed who’s just not sold my phone yet. I am now taking legal action. I’ll probably get nowhere as eventually they’ll just disappear if they haven’t already. DO NOT USE THEM, TAKE LESS MONEY ON THE HIGH STREET AT LEAST YOU’LL GET PAID

Sent them two devices back in May, 2026. They knocked down their original offer to half saying there was scratches ect. Got them increased slightly and agreed the price on 30th May, payment to be made within 7 days. I’m still chasing payment. Email I received this morning now saying that my payment is now due 2nd August, 2027. This company is an absolute joke. Don’t hold up much hope of ever getting paid.

Dont use, been waiting 3 months for my payment, i get the same email back with no answer, i then just had a email saying i will be paid on 23RD JULY ‘2027’

Sent my phone to them in June. I've been chasing since then for the payment amount (which was confirmed by them at the end of June 2026) but no joy.
Submitted a formal complaint 1 September 2026 and have received a reply to say my payment is scheduled for May 2027!
From reading the other reviews this company clearly accept and refurbish tech sent to them, sell for a profit and do not pay for the tech being sent to them.
This is theft. I have contacted Citizen's Advice, and am starting a case through the Courts also.
Please do not use this company if you want to recycle your tech!

I sent my iPhone to them in July and they reduced my refund quote down by nearly £80 stating there was minor scratches and the incorrect GB was advised and battery charge was 80%. I accept the last points however they quoted 14 to 30 working days for refund however they are now quoting my refund will be paid by 5th July 2027 which will be is just under a year. How can a company give a timescale as long.

Offer you a high price then lowball you when they receive it,

Ended up giving me pretty much what they 1st offered after I refused the first 3 offers,

They then tell you it’s 14-30 working days for payment, now on working day 26 since I accepted their offer and 32 days since they revived the phone and no payment…..

I’m still waiting for a £115 trade-in payment that was originally supposed to be paid within 7 working days. I was then told 14–30 working days, yet that deadline passed too.

After repeatedly chasing them, I was eventually told the earliest I will be paid is 9 April 2027 — despite the money already being owed to me.

I asked for my device to be returned instead, but was told this was no longer possible because it had already been refurbished.

They have my device, they have my money, and I’m being told to wait months and months for payment.

I have reported the situation and was advised to make Consumer Advice/Trading Standards aware. If you’ve experienced similar issues, please report them too. People need to speak up so this doesn’t keep happening to other customers.

Probably the worst company I have ever dealt with. They gave me a quote and then knocked it down ridiculously when they received the phone even though it was in excellent condition. Now they are saying my payment won’t be made until April 2027. I have started legal action against them but i have little confidence I’ll receive any money. ADVOID AVOID AVOID

If I could give it no stars I would. I sold my old phone to them, and was told today after chasing for the payment (I sent it in nearly 2 months ago) that they were behind and payment would be made in july 2027!!!! Ie nearly a year away.

This is disgusting.

This is my second review but hopefully it will reach all the people like myself who have had their phone stolen from them and promised money in 2027. Please please log the issue with citizens advice and trading standards. The more people that do the more likely action will be taken. I have given their trading address for further investigation. To anyone thinking of buying from them please don’t. You are literally handling stolen goods and they are clearly not a company to trust with what they are selling you.

They have had my phone since May, they used to text me every week to keep me updated on what was happening until they told me it was with the final payment section, since then they only reply if I send them an email asking what is happening, after several emails they say they are very busy and can’t send my phone back to me, yesterday they sent me an email saying that I will get my payment on 8-6-2027 so 14-30 days is actually 1 year, I’m contacting trading standards about this company. THESE ARE SCAMMERS DO NOT USE.

Sent my phone in May. Accepted a reduced offer. Told payment in 7 days, then it could be up to 30 and now my payment date is April 2027 due to a back log in payments. I’m not being funny but what are they doing processing 1 payment a day. Absolute joke. Won’t return my phone probably already sold it and are now with holding my money. So basically robbed my phone and by the looks of all the reviews I’m not the only person as no doubt by the time April 2027 rolls round they will make another excuse.

I sold 2 phones back on 4th June 2026 and I am still waiting for payment of £640!! Kept promising between 14 and 30 working days and still nothing. Absolutely disgusting DO NOT USE!!!

My partner sent this phone to this company in early June and agreed a price - their payment terms are 14-30 working days however, still no sign of the payment. My partner has contacted them numerous times but there latest reply via email says they are experiencing a backlog of payments and his payment his scheduled for 1st July 2027 (!!!) and they are unable to return his phone. DO NOT USE!!

After querying what happened to my payment I received the response below.

As we've shared previously, we are currently experiencing a backlog with payments. We are making payments every day and working through these as quickly as possible. I've checked your order and can confirm that your payment is scheduled for 22nd of July 2027

I appreciate this is longer than you expected to wait, but I want to reassure you that you will be paid and this date will not be pushed back any further. Although we're unable to return your device at this stage, your payment is confirmed and will be with you by this date.

We'll also email you each month with an update, either to reconfirm the date or to let you know if we've been able to bring your payment forward.

Thanks again for bearing with us."

Payment will be a year and two months after!!

I am speechless!
