Unplugged Cabins Bewertungen 

This was my second experience at Unplugged. I stayed in Basil the first time and went to Otto this time. Both times a friend stayed in the nearby cabin (Gruff and Monty).

The worst thing about Unplugged is when you have to leave. The 3 days I spent this month were just what I needed as an antidote to the ever increasing pressures of a busy job and a phone and inbox that never stops. The Unplugged cabins create the perfect space to hear yourself think and properly reflect on how you are feeling about life the universe and everything in between. I will be back later this year - I'm tempted to book twice and stay for 6 days next time.

If you are thinking about going - book it now - it will be the best thing you did this year and may just change your life.

A wonderfully peaceful and relaxing stay, the cabin was very clean, and really well presented. The bed was comfortable, and was made more lovely by being sited next to the huge window, allowing you to stare out for hours on end! The supplied goods (tea, coffee, shower gels etc) were well stocked and the kitchen and its utensils also very clean - they didn't ick you out, which in many places, the kitchen and utensils can. I didn't do the full 'lock phone away' thing, as my care for social media and phones goes about as far as I could throw them - however, it did give the perfect opportunity to live a rustic and simple existence for a few days, away from general life-hassle. I certainly will look to book again.

Loved it so much! View every morning was exceptional. Lovely experience!

We had been looking forward to our unplugged escape for a while now and it was everything we hoped for.

Our cabin (Loki) was perfect and provided the opportunity to leave notifications and news behind and just be.

We read, played board games (Loved Sequence) and found some great footpaths near by.

The books available were really thoughtful (I’ve just ordered a copy of ‘Do Nothing’ by Celeste Headlee) and we enjoyed having unlimited time to read.

If you are thinking of having some time out from your routine, book this!

We will be making it an annual trip from now on.

I spent 3 days by myself in Monty and I loved it. I found it pretty easy to switch off. The cabin was very comfy - the log burning stove was a godsend. It was so cosy to just curl up in bed, reading, looking out over the countryside. At night, the only noise was the wind outside. I loved it. Bring plenty of socks and slippers - you can feel the cold on your feet during the day.

5 stars. I loved the experience so much. It was carefully thought out and meticulously planned! There were a few small pointers that I had, but nothing that would diminish a 5 star score.
- Whilst using the trolley to transport our luggage from the car to the cabin, we encountered a LOT of potholes. One of which unfortunately toppled the trolley and left some of our belongings soaked in mud!
- We’d love to see some plants/greenery in the cabins
- The boiler is obviously eco-powered, but will only give you about 30 seconds of hot water.

We LOVED the Deer Safari / Farm which was about an hour walk away, and we loved walking through the woodlands to co-op!

Rented the Olive cabin amd it offered an amazing view. We have a forest on the left side of the cabin and an extensive grass field in front. There was 0 light pollution and it was a perfect setting for stargazing and astrophotography

The cabin had everything, from a fully stocked kitchen, to games, a radio, coffee, tea, even a hand crancked flashlight that was useful at points. The location is fantastic, about 5 minutes from the main road (agricultural road) so very quiet, nested betten some trees but with an expansive view over a field.
The indoor wood stove made the experience truly magical.

I managed to catch up on reading, cooking, sleep and forgot about the pulls of digital devices for a brief few days. Really enjoyed it

Had an incredible weekend and working now to implement changes. I was so addicted to my phone and this was the reset I needed. I've made lots of changes from how and when I use my phone, email and Linkedin to taking more time to do offline things vs using my phone for everything.

We stayed at Marcel and loved our time there. Perfect, relaxing escape.

Attention to every little detail. Absolutely everything thought of. Loved my time at Monty and will return.

Awesome experience, so relaxed and just what we wanted. Bunty had everything we could need and the surroundings were beautiful! Couldn't have asked for much more... We want to go back already!!

We truly loved our experience at Bunty the brand new location for Unplugged. We didn't realise how much we needed the break away from technology until we came home and craved the simplicity that Unplugged Rest allows. The concept is so brilliant and we loved every detail! Would love to stay with you guys again.

I loved my stay with Unplugged Rest! It was the perfect way to get off-grid and disconnect with technology, whilst reconnecting with nature. The cabin (Marcel) was easy to get to with public transit and it was situated in a lovely area around plenty of walking trails. There was a cute village nearby too that was fun to explore! I definitely recommend Unplugged Rest for those that want a cosy escape out in the countryside.

We had the most relaxing few days staying in Pablo! Every little detail had been thought of and we had the loveliest time going on walks, exploring the local area, reading in the window and playing card games. It was so refreshing to take some time away from our phones and just enjoying the little things as well as each other’s company!

The cabin is really well located, with really pretty walks and footpaths surrounding the cabin. About 20 minutes away there was a really sweet little village with pubs and cafes which had been recommended on the map provided in the cabin.

Staying in the cabin gave us a much needed break from constantly reaching for our phones and we left feeling so refreshed and clear headed. It really highlighted to us how much we absentmindedly reach for our phones. Would 100% recommend if you’re after a digital detox and some time to relax and surround yourself in nature!

An amazing solo trip to Olive cabin - one of the best weekends I’ve had in a long time. Beautifully designed in a secluded part of the East Sussex countryside. Felt very safe and had everything you could need from a hot shower, fridge and big bed with amazing views. Great place to just switch off, read, light fires and unplug from everything. Will definitely be back!

I arrived at Loki with a busy mind and left feeling rested, calm, and inspired.

The cabin was functional and beautiful. From the clever storage solutions to the floor to ceiling window over looking the field and wild deer.

Everything was designed to help you get out of your head and doing things with your hands – cooking on the fire, grinding coffee, tuning the radio, reading books, and taking photos with the polaroid camera.

I slept for hours, read a whole book in a day and came home feeling totally relaxed.

It shows what a difference it makes when you give yourself time to think free from distractions!

I’d love to stay again soon. :-)

Just got back from my first stay at Unplugged (Monty) and WOW-A-WEE-WOW. Everything was just perfect. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept in (I want to buy the bedding immediately). The views through the pano windows were stunning of the rolling hills and woodland. We had everything we needed: amazing hot shower, fresh coffee, radio, instant camera and even games for the evening. I locked my phone away for 3 days and I didn't even miss it!
The area was so beautiful, we walked through woods and rolling hills - you wouldn't believe you were only 1 hour from London.
Since returning from Unplugged I've been sleeping without my phone next to me so I don't pick it up before bed or first thing in the morning and I'm leaving it out of sight during meal times.
Thank you for such a beautiful stay - We'll be back!
