Terrible customer service!. Call into the number on the website by my plumber to check the spec of an item prior to purchase - Emma gave advice. As the customer I wanted to clarify the information and called to double check. Plumber still not confident about the assurance the product would work as required so emailed into the company and had to chase a reply by phone. At this point Emma was downright rude. The plumber raised this with me, as the customer and asked me to purchase direct as he didn't want to engage with the company again. Having called this morning as the product was clearly wrong for the requirements, despite the assurance from Emma verbally and in writing when I called again she was again very rude. Long story short we will take the business elsewhere. Don't ask any questions of the products or spec and order online and you might be ok. Need help or have to interact or speak to the company - go elsewhere can almost guarantee you will get a better service

Having embarked on a home modernization programme where we were losing radiator/wall space, we decided upon underfloor heating. UFH1 was recommended to us and we were delighted to have them advise us on the correct type and layout for our needs. From the design through to the finished product, UFH1 listened to our requirements and installed the system exactly as we wanted. The system is now fully functioning and now heats our property as it never was previously (cold spots galore have now now gone). We are very pleased with the product and appreciation goes out to Damien and his team for what they achieved for us. Cannot speak too highly of them and happy to recommend UFH1 at any time.

The company installed my underfloor heating about five years ago. We recently encountered a problem.

Their response was excellent. My call for support was treated in a fantastically customer-centric way and the engineer attended to the repair both promptly and efficiently.

Sometimes you discover who the really good suppliers are when there is a problem to deal with. Their response was excellent.

We recently had our underfloor heating done in the kitchen through UFH. The team there are such professionals. They take the time to understand what you're looking for and offering solutions to best suit your needs and that of the space you have. Their work is meticulous and they go above and beyond to deliver great service. Our kitchen is now a cosy hub of the home and we love spending time in it. I couldn't recommend this company more. Thank you to Damien and his team for all their hard work.

This is a review of two halves - The product itself is good – I did a lot of research before going for this. The pre sales service was also very good – Damien was pretty responsive and helpful and came to the house a couple of times.
However very soon after payment had been taken, began a series of events that absolutely destroyed my trust in this company and caused me the most stress of any aspect of my substantial renovation – which is really saying something.
The way Damien talked to me on the phone the morning of the install was unforgivable and I cannot recall any other so called professional speaking to me so rudely like that ever. He was shouting down the phone, threatening to call off the install if I didn’t listen to him. I was actually almost concerned about his mental wellbeing.
His issue with me was because I raised a concern about the fitter not having any idea where the manifold was to be situated despite vising the site for a pre install check a week previously.
Then there is the company who they use to do the install – Warmfloors. The actual guys who did the fitting were great. However the owner was something else. First there was an issue about whether or not underfloor sensors are needed if using an engineered wood floor. All wooden flooring manufacturers suggest they are – to prevent the wood temp rising over 27 degrees and damaging the floor. Russel from warmfloors disagreed and felt the manifold would be able to do this – although how the manifold could sense the temperature in a wooden floor I’m not sure.

Anyway, rather than discussing this matter like adults, Russel and Damien resorted to shouting and swearing and making threats. It was really quite astounding, I’ve never experienced anything like it. Being a health care professional working for the NHS, I’ve seen it all, so for me to be shocked it takes quite a lot, and this really threw me. However having already paid for the system I had little choice.

It was amazing how the attitude changed once payment was taken. Even the tone of emails changed.
Russel then wanted complete payment in full before they pressure tested and commissioned the service, and before I had any paperwork to confirm this. I explained that I didn’t feel comfortable paying in full before this has been completed, and I suggested holding a couple of hundred pounds back until after commissioning. His response was to threaten to come and ‘rip it out’ if I did not pay in full (I still have the texts to prove this)

Before I started this project, one of my kitchen suppliers warned me about the poor post sales customer service for this company, but because until then the pre sales service was good, I thought it must have been a one off.

All in all, because the product itself is decent, if everything goes well, you will probably have no issues with this company. If however you run in to any problems at all, then brace yourself, because I can only hope that you have a better experience than I did because the thin veneer of professionalism and customer service is lost pretty quickly.
