Awful customer service when you have issues with your car!

Absolutely shocking experience with Tusker. My Audi Q6 has had ongoing charging faults and was sat with Audi for over a month, yet Tusker were still more than happy to take full lease payments while I was without the car I’m paying a premium for. Had the car back, the same charging issues are there, the car is completely unpredictable as to whether it will charge or not. Tusker refuse to take the car back without penalty costs and everyday is a battle of phone calls and emails between tusker and Audi! If you lease through tusker be prepared to spend a stupid amount of time trying to resolve issues whilst getting absolutely no-where!!!

Communication is appalling – they don’t call when you ask to discuss issues, instead just point to terms and conditions when you raise how unfair the situation is. Every time you reply to an email, you’re pushed to the back of a 5-day SLA queue, so nothing ever progresses. It feels deliberately obstructive.

Overall, zero ownership, poor customer service and no empathy for the customer experience. I will never lease a car through Tusker again.

We understand how frustrating it must be to experience ongoing issues with your vehicle, particularly when this impacts something as fundamental as charging reliability. Being without your car for an extended period, and then having concerns continue after its return, is understandably upsetting, especially when you rely on it day to day.

While decisions around repairs and technical outcomes are ultimately governed by the manufacturer’s warranty process, we do work closely with both the supplying dealer and manufacturer to ensure cases are actively monitored and progressed. Where issues are ongoing, dedicated maintenance support is put in place to liaise directly with all parties and keep things moving as efficiently as possible.

We also recognise your concerns around communication and response times. This is not the experience we want drivers to have, and it’s important that you feel supported, informed and able to have meaningful conversations when issues arise, not that you’re facing barriers or delays.

In relation to costs and lease payments, these are governed by the terms of the scheme agreement, which set out how situations such as off-road time are handled. However, we fully appreciate that this can still feel unfair when you’re dealing with repeated issues, and we do understand the sentiment behind your comments.
