I had a great experience with Triplebyte and the talent manager Alyson there. The overall process was well thought out and streamlined. One thing that I do not appreciate about software engineering interviews by companies is how they try to filter candidates through standard algorithms and problem solving questions. It doesn't exactly help to judge if the candidate is a good software engineer. Triplebyte helped me skip this step by getting me multiple onsite opportunities after clearing their quiz. The quiz had a few questions that weren't exactly relevant to my background but it was very well-structured and the interviewer seemed knowledgeable.
After you clear the quiz, you are assigned a talent manager who will help you with shortlisting companies, interviews, offer negotiations etc. I got to work with Alyson, who was really great! She understood my priorities, shortlisted the right companies for me, helped me communicate effectively with recruiters and with offer negotiations.

Overall, I would highly recommend Triplebyte to anyone who is looking to enter the tech space or switch jobs!

Triplebyte's interview process was very practical and relevant to the industry. Given that you go straight to onsite rounds after this, the hours spent was well worth it.

The talent managers were all very helpful and encouraging. They gave very timely advice and relevant information.

The only downside is the choice of companies, which are mostly startups. Booking flights and scheduling hotel is also a lengthy and difficult process.

That should tell you everything you need to know about how positively I feel towards this company. I was unsuccessful in getting employment (yet) with Triplebyte, but that does nothing to diminish my positive opinion of them, it was a very smooth and professional run service that fulfilled or exceded every expectation I had. I have and will continue to encourage any of my friends interested in working with startups to consider Triplebyte.

The model of interviewing and hiring process that Triplebyte provides and advocates I believe is the right thing for information technologies industry. It substantially saves times of an engineer by having only one tech screening interview which is quite deep and rigorous. After passing the tech screening you have plenty of opportunities to try out with tech companies of various sizes and domains.

After seeing ads for them all over everywhere, I decided it was worth a shot. I’ve applied to dozens of other places and never gotten past the first or second round of interviews.
