I have previously booked 2 trips with tripadeal and currently had another booking which was booked about 18 months from the travel date. I contacted them to see whether my deposit could be left as a credit in which i advised as per conditions you forfeit your fee. Originally when I booked I was told I had up until 6 months to try and get another person to share, but now they advise that no credit available as everything has been booked. It would be different if I was asking for a refund, but just wanted a credit to use on another trip in the future. Totally nonsense. I won't be using tripadeal anymore and will stick with Inspiring Vacations or Holiday Max in the future.

Southern Japan Discovery - highly recommended. This was our first visit to Japan and it was a wonderful experience. We were really well looked after by our guide, Dragon, and our driver, Abe-San. Dragon was friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable and went out of his way to ensure we all had the best experience possible. We took the opportunity to do all available optional activities and this added depth to our experiences. Abe-San was an excellent driver and luggage wrangler and we always felt safe in his care.

Our experience with TAD was mixed in that it was very intense and some guides better than others BUT our guide in Suzhou through to Shanghai for 5 days was absolutely phenomenal. Angela did everything she could to make sure everyone was catered for and looked after irrespective of whether they chose to do the TAD optional tours or their own thing. She was so thoughtful and funny and open. She was absolutely great.

This was our third TripADeal trip and we will definitely be doing more. They are great value for money, and all the flights, accommodation and tours are so good. We did Southern Japan Discovery this time, and it was wonderful. Busy, interesting, spectacularly beautiful and so well organised. Our tour guide Dragon was very helpful and knowledgeable, and so kind and polite. He really looked after us, as did Abe-san, our excellent driver, whose bus was super clean. I would highly recommend this trip.

Tripadeal in China. We had tour guide Emily in Suzhou all the way to Shanghai in May 2026. Knowledgable, friendly , engaging and entertaining. Thanks for such a great guide.

We did the Japan Discovery trip this year. Well organised tour. Itinerary was good, but we spent to much time ex. fol lunch and not enough time at attractions. For example, we needed much more time on the Miyajima Island, as there was so much to see. Visited Hiroshima Peace Memorial Park and arrived to the hotel early afternoon ???
I would recommend this tour, but not tour guide Rajesh. He was friendly but lack of knowledge, explanation and communication.

We have booked to go to Uganda this june and due to recent embola corncerns so close to the boader the country has a level 4 travel warning with goverment website advising not to travel. Hovever this isnt enough for tripadeal to cancel the tour and have only been offered half our money back if we cancel ourselfs . We have been told if they cancel we would get a full refund but they have not agreed to cancel which leaves us with a desion to either lose half our money and cancel or risk traveling to country that has travel warnings . We have done many trips with tripadeal and recomended them to friends but am very dissapointed in the attitude . I would have exspected and better standard of duty of care .

Our recent TripADeal “Japan Discovery” tour (5836) was an absolutely unforgettable experience, shared with my wife and our two close friends. From the moment we arrived in Japan until the final farewell, the entire journey was exceptionally well organised, immersive, and genuinely enjoyable. The itinerary struck a wonderful balance between iconic highlights, cultural experiences, organised touring, and enough free time to explore independently. Japan itself was breathtaking, from the energy of Tokyo and the charm of Kyoto to the serenity of temples, gardens, traditional streets, and mountain scenery but what truly elevated this trip was the people who guided and supported us throughout.

Our tour guide, Runa, was simply outstanding. She was the perfect combination of professionalism, warmth, knowledge, patience, and joy. Every single day she brought an infectious enthusiasm to the tour, making even early starts enjoyable with her cheerful nature and positive energy. Her knowledge of Japanese culture, history, customs, food, etiquette, and local life added enormous depth to every place we visited. She didn’t just tell us facts — she gave context, stories, and personal insights that made each destination feel meaningful and alive.

What impressed us most was how genuinely caring and considerate she was toward every person on the tour. She always took the time to ensure everyone was comfortable, understood the daily schedule, and felt included. She On help us with directions, shopping recommendations, restaurant suggestions, and transport advice. Even during our free days, she remained available 24/7 via message and phone, responding quickly and kindly whenever anyone needed assistance. That level of dedication is incredibly rare and deeply appreciated.

Runa also handled every logistical detail with remarkable professionalism. Transfers, hotel check-ins, timing, tickets, luggage coordination, and daily schedules all ran smoothly and efficiently, yet she somehow managed this without making the trip feel rigid or rushed. She adapted gracefully when needed, communicated clearly, and always maintained a calm and reassuring presence. Her ability to manage a group while still making each individual feel personally cared for was truly impressive.

The bus driver also deserves enormous praise. Navigating Japan’s busy streets, highways, and tighter regional roads could not have been easy, yet every journey felt safe, smooth, and comfortable. Together, Runa and the driver worked as a seamless team and contributed enormously to the overall success of the holiday.

TripADeal recommends tipping approximately AUD$10 per day for the guide and driver, and we can honestly say both Runa and the driver earned every dollar of that and more. Importantly, this tip request was communicated politely and respectfully, never in a pressured way. After experiencing the level of care, professionalism, effort, and support they provided throughout the trip, we were more than happy to show our appreciation.

This was one of the most enjoyable and well-run holidays we have ever taken. We returned home with incredible memories, a deeper appreciation of Japan, and enormous gratitude to Runa and the entire team who made the experience so special. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone considering visiting Japan through TripADeal.

Today we finished the first leg of our trip, as we leave Beijing and wonderful guide Forest Song, who went above and beyond with his efforts to keep his flock as happy as possible. Forest has made us feel like one big family, with his amazing wit and charm he led us into making memories that will live on forever, we are sad to be leaving him behind. From the colorful Fab 6 🤗😀

If your thinking about using this company. DONT. It’s cheap and you get what you pay for. They lulled us into a false sense of security. Visas for Viet Nam are extremely difficult to obtain. So we asked if we could get a credit, move the date etc. their response was no and a refund out of the question. The stress of this left me with a chest infection which landed me in hospital so couldn’t go anyway, they are so very inflexible. So it is one of those things great holiday if everything goes without a hitch but check all of the reviews that miracle only happens 20 per cent of the time.

Send inquiry via email 4days replied asking customer to call back wow!! Called them back longer than half an hour for waiting?! Just don't buy a hotel deal through this Agent!! You not gonna get any luck for help or sort thing out.

The tour guides, drivers, Hotels and all the people that we encountered, were so welcoming and helpful. you don't see that kind of sincerity in western culture any more.
Our tour guides were, Robin in Hanoi, Minh in Hoi An, Tung/Pine in Saigon and my absolute favourite Mr Phany Hang in Cambodia. These people went above and beyond to showcase their countries, their culture, history and customs.
I highly recommend these countries, it's not just a holiday, it's an experience you'll never forget.

This trip fitted perfectly with my expectations, the Tour director, bus driver and assistant were excellent, nothing was too troublesome. The range of experiences were amazing, accomodation varied between satisfactory and excellent, well above what I expected for what I paid. The group is also environmentally friendly. I just loved the range of experiences, the food was to die for, travel was comfortable and the Sri Lankan people were amazing. I highly recommend both this trip and the company, I will be travelling with them again.

We originally booked a 14-day Japan trip and were required to pay a significant “Peak Period” surcharge. However, only a month later, we received an email advising that the tour had been cancelled due to a lack of interest, despite the departure date still being four months away.
While this situation has been frustrating for both of us, the company did provide alternative offers and we have accepted the revised option in full. However, they are now advising that refunds may take up to 60 days to process. It is unreasonable that customers are expected to wait this long for the return of their money following a cancellation initiated by the company.

The trip was very well organised as per usual. The tour took advantage of great scenery around western Canada, and the activities were wonderful. The guide was keen to please the customers and was very informative. Good value.

The Alaska, Canada Yellowstone tour for April 2026. It began in Seattle, didn’t see Seattle and the next 4 days were extremely long driving, made more difficult as you had to shop for food for all meals. The breakfast that was on several occasions provided was very substandard and limited for choice. It would have been better if we flew into a city closer to Yellowstone national park to reduce the time on the bus. Our tour guide provided minimal information in regards to history and places and was not prepared with any details.

TripADeal are a booking agent NOT a travel agent. When things go wrong e.g. cancelled flights/cancelled cruises, they cannot help and take many, many weeks to obtain refunds which they do not detail/itemise. The refunds are very poor also as a percentage of total cost. Their holidays may be cheaper, but their service, proactive communication and helpfulness is even cheaper. I would not recommend them for any holiday.

Trip a deal packages and company are not worth considering in my experience.
No refund at all even though I had a medical certificate ,only a specialist whom I can’t see for 3 weeks can provide a medical certificate,not an GP.
Very quick to get you to cancel and agree on the phone to their cancellation terms.
Terrible company terrible terrible terrible.

First and last time booking with TripADeal. Terrible customer service and zero flexibility on a cancelled package
I booked a cruise to Norway through Tripadeal, including flights from Brisbane to Oslo via Doha on Qatar Airways for 22 April 2026. The Qatar flight was cancelled at the last minute due to the war with Iran.

As we knew prior that the flight was going to be cancelled, we called Tripadeal to cancel the flight 5 days before, as Qatar advised to do so. We wanted to avoid driving 2hrs to the airport, only to be turned back at the airport. We also had a pet and house sitter flying from interstate, if we did not travel, she would have to find somewhere else to stay for the 5 weeks that we had planned.
Tripadeal deemed this as a "voluntary cancellation" and therefore not refundable. That policy is far from fair.

When we contacted Tripadeal to request a partial or full refund for the package, they refused. We then asked if we could transfer the cruise portion to my sister who lives in Denmark so the holiday wouldn’t be completely wasted. They also refused this simple request.
As a result, we have lost the entire holiday and a significant amount of money. Tripadeal is showing absolutely no willingness to help or offer any reasonable solution despite the flight cancellation being through their airline partner. Their “no refund” policy in this situation feels extremely unfair and inflexible.

I will never book with Tripadeal again. If your trip involves flights they don’t control and something goes wrong, don’t expect any support or fairness. Extremely disappointed and very poor value for what was meant to be a dream holiday.

Hurtigruten (the cruise operator) actually wanted to help us and were willing to explore options, but they could not do anything because Tripadeal is the booking agency.
We had also paid extra for several cruise excursions, all of which are now lost. Our travel insurance does not cover situations involving war, so we are completely out of pocket for the entire package.
Tripadeal showed zero flexibility, zero support, and zero care for customers affected by circumstances completely beyond our control. Their “no refund, no transfer” stance in this situation is unfair and unacceptable.
I strongly advise everyone to think twice before booking with Tripadeal, especially any package involving international flights. We will never use them again.

Great trip that truly exceeded our expectations. Our guide, Dragon, was outstanding—his attention to detail and commitment to ensuring everyone was well looked after made a real difference. He is easily the best tour guide we’ve had and played a big part in making the experience so memorable. Thank you to TripADeal for a fantastic holiday in Japan.
