Sam has been excellent help with our trip to Budapest. Everything was organised and allowed for seamless travel. Even down to ringing us in the early days of enquiry to discuss better flight options to enhance our trip. We will be using him again for future breaks.

Would put 0 if I could. Absolute SCAMMERS. Had an absolute nightmare with this company. Trying to downgrade the holiday for MORE MONEY, not offer the advertised holiday at all. I kept asking for a refund, outright refusing. Trying to offer other holidays I am not interested in for MORE MONEY! Going back and forth the last week, getting nowhere. I have not agreed to the alternative rubbish, yet they send emails saying the booking is confirmed. I am contacting fraud action, the ombudsmen, the police etc;. What a nightmare.

Voucher TD3YS9-C8N9MK. Agent 'Sam' demanded an extra £120 on top of the Wowcher price. I formally rejected this and requested a refund on 27 Feb. I have been ignored for 14+ days. This is a breach of Package Travel Regulations. I am now initiating a bank chargeback.

Nothing was too much trouble, and she took the time to make sure everything was just right. I’m so grateful for her help. Got to Dover with car and passenger to be told they'd booked us as foot passengers. Didn't answer phone for ages, we ended up paying a fortune for car to complete our holiday. Most unhelpful when we did finally get through. Just hope when we get to destination the hotels actually been booked. Advise to avoid at all costs, it's not worth the stress.

Another WOWCHER scam by the look of it, Order Number 51265426. Selling holidays that are not available for the advertised price. We missed our holiday

Despite redeeming these vouchers, I have not received any formal booking confirmation, flight details, hotel confirmation, or applicable terms and conditions from your company. For the avoidance of doubt, I have not agreed to any arrangements, nor have I confirmed any revised pricing.
I am particularly concerned that you are seeking to charge an additional £79 per person for a direct flight option, notwithstanding that the direct flight is currently available at a lower cost than the indirect alternative. Requiring additional payment in such circumstances appears unreasonable and inconsistent with the price and representations made at the point of sale.

Further, the hotel advertised at the time of booking was Rum Hotel Budapest. I have received no confirmation of accommodation. As this formed part of the material basis upon which I entered into the contract, any unilateral substitution without prior agreement would be unacceptable.

As no confirmed booking has been issued and no revised terms have been agreed by me, there is currently no concluded variation of the original agreement. If you are unable or unwilling to provide the holiday as advertised and purchased, I require a full refund without delay.

My best advice is to avoid however contact Paypal you will have to contact with wowcher who will respond with something useless and then escalate your claim with paypal and you will be refunded, DO NOT GIVE THEM MORE MONEY

You have informed me verbally that the advertised flights and hotel are “no longer available at the advertised price” due to price fluctuations. However, you have declined to confirm this position in writing.
At the time of purchase, the holiday was advertised at a fixed price, including specific flight arrangements and accommodation at Rum Hotel Budapest. That representation formed the basis upon which I entered into the contract. A post-purchase attempt to increase the price on the grounds of “fluctuating prices” is not acceptable unless clearly and lawfully provided for within the original contractual terms.

If the holiday cannot be provided at the advertised price, this raises serious concerns under:

The Consumer Rights Act 2015 (requirement for services to be performed as described);

The Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008 (prohibiting misleading actions and omissions);

The Package Travel and Linked Travel Arrangements Regulations 2018 (restrictions on post-contract price increases and material alterations).

A business cannot advertise a holiday at a stated price and subsequently require additional payment because market prices have changed, unless such variation rights were transparent, fair, and lawfully incorporated into the contract prior to purchase.

Furthermore, your refusal to confirm your position in writing is concerning and does not reflect transparent commercial practice.

I have not agreed to any price increase.

I have not agreed to substitute flights or accommodation.

No confirmed booking reflecting the original advertised terms has been issued.

They are an absolute scam. I booked a short trip with them through Wowcher. Then I was contacted and forced to pay extra for a better flight which then the said none of the advertised hotels are available and they gave me something far worse and when I checked on booking(.com)
Both hotels were available. If you have respect for your hard earned money stay away from these scammers.

I purchased a Wowcher deal with this company which turned out to be a complete scam! I was supposed to have a minimum of 40 hours in my destination for a two night break. The deal only allowed 31 hours. I could upgrade to receive the 40 hours however the cost of the package would be doubled.
I have been trying to get a refund since December. Sean at Travelolo allegedly requested this on 16 January however he now doesn’t reply to emails to confirm where my refund of over £400 is.

I purchased a 4★ all-inclusive holiday advertised at BLUESEA Puerto Resort or Costa Jardín. I was offered a different hotel, unsuitable flight times, and asked to pay £300 extra for the advertised hotel.

These guys need to be seriously investigated as ALL of their reviews online show they are a scam. They force you to take crazy times meaning you will miss days of your holiday in able to buy a different slot at a crazy price. Then they will offer you a random hotel but try mislead you into signing away a half board instead of all inclusive. It’s all a swindle.

Travelolo refused to honor the deal as sold. Asking me to pay extra I had to cancel and request a full refund.

Be cautious: their advertised packages may not match what you receive. I advise checking carefully before booking.

Do not buy anything through this scamming company!

I purchased a holiday booking on 2nd February and the experience has been problematic from the very beginning.

There was constant back and forth with “Sam” over the phone, with repeated promises of call backs that did not happen. He was very condensing and rude, making consistent sarcastic remarks to get me to follow and agree to the bullsh** he was giving us. We were told information about flights and the booking that later changed, creating confusion and concern from the start.

We were then told we had been “upgraded” to a different hotel because the hotel we booked wasn’t available. However, this hotel was miles away from where we specifically wanted to stay and was of noticeably poorer standard. This was not an upgrade in any reasonable sense.

Due to this, I formally requested a full refund on 12th February. I was advised to allow 24 hours for a response. No response was received. Since then, my emails and messages have been ignored.

It has now been over two weeks since purchase and the matter remains unresolved despite multiple attempts to communicate.

I have retained full documentation of all correspondence, including emails and records of calls. I am simply seeking cancellation and a full refund. Or this will be going through bank and legal advisors.

I had a lot of trouble booking the flight but Sharron really helped and was lovely. In the end I got it sorted no big problems and I would use this company again 100%.

Do not believe the good reviews that all sound the same, written by bots. Believe the bad reviews because this tie up between travelolo and Wowcher really is abysmal for customers

I only found the trust pilot reviews after paying my money. Sure enough even though you pay for one thing they tell you it’s not available but can offer you something similar for more money. Then they try to hide behind the Ts and Cs. When you object.

My advice is please do not touch either fraudulent company.

I'm super impressed with Travelol I'm so glad I found them through Wowcher. Our travel expert Krishna was super sweet and experienced. She picked a breath taking All inclusive hotel in Turkey for my mums birthday. We were blown away with the staff service tasty food and the stay in general. I look forward to speaking with Krishna again to book another trip.
