Do not use this company TRAVELOLO appalling they firstly made us book an extra night in the worst hotel ever! Told us flights weren’t scheduled directly to Rome to coincide with our six nations voucher to watch Italy v Scotland then charged us an added £300 to book flights within the schedule

I rang up and didn't have to wait that long to speak to someone. The advisor, Nick, was really helpful and even recommended more suitable flight times when the ones I had weren't suitable. He explained everything thoroughly and made sure I received everything, excellent service

I am continuing to be pushed from pillar to post(again) continuing from the 28th of January. Wowcher replied to my previous review advising they have reached out to the merchant, and you can imagine that NO action was taken. Traveolo contact stating ‘ we tried to contact you. Please get in touch with Sam’ and they lie. They sent the message outside of operational hours and NEVER attempt to contact you.

I have been having endless conversations on WhatsApp with both Wowcher & Travelolo with no resolution. I had a message regarding a ‘ refund’ which I confirmed an option, then told it takes 8-12 days for an ‘advisor’ to contact me? The ongoing process in trying to obtain my refund is absolutely abysmal. Wowcher does not help resolve any issues and will withheld your funds!

I booked my mum a 50th birthday trip to Paris for 3 nights the first time I’ve ever been able to do something truly special for her. What should have been a meaningful, sentimental gift was completely ruined by this agency’s disgraceful, unprofessional, and frankly fraudulent behaviour.

I dealt with three staff members while organising this trip: Andy (sales rep), Shaun (line manager), and a customer service employee whose name I unfortunately didn’t catch. Every single interaction was appalling. Shaun repeatedly called me “buddy” on the phone in a patronising way, Andy was utterly useless agreeing with everything while offering zero actual help and customer service showed no interest in resolving anything.

After the trip was booked, I paid extra to improve the flight times so they’d be more suitable for my mum. Instead of simply adjusting the flights, Andy unbeknown to my knowledge changed and downgraded the hotel, moving it to the outskirts of Paris something I never agreed to and was never informed about.

When I noticed this and politely asked them to correct it back to what I originally booked, they refused. Despite the trip being 7 weeks away, they claimed it “couldn’t be changed” unless I paid extra blaming me for their mistake and demanding more money to reinstate the hotel I had already booked and paid for.

This is beyond outrageous. I tried to do something meaningful for my mum, and this company completely destroyed the sentiment of it. There was no empathy, no accountability, and no attempt to fix a problem they created.

Ask yourself this: if you booked a once-in-a-lifetime gift for your mum, wouldn’t you expect a travel agency to help rather than exploit you?

I genuinely hope no one else has to go through this. Avoid this company at all costs.

Sam is such a nice helpful bloke, he is well overdue a pay rise. Full of good ideas and once he got to know what we were after there was no stopping him. One of the best conversations with a vendor I have had in a very long time. Pay rise, pay rise. Get on Sam, thanks mate.

Bought a 3 night trip to Rome on wowcher. Told Travelolo would contact within 48hours of wowchers being redeemed. They didn’t.

Sent multiple emails with no response. No one ever answers the phone, called at all times of the day. When I eventually managed to speak to someone after a week, the flights they offered didn’t meet their T&Cs for minimum time spent in Rome. When I pointed this out was quickly offered alternative flights.

The hotel I wanted was not available and was offered alternative all over an hours walk from the centre of Rome and main sights. Told me they would look into alternatives in a more central location (which would cost extra). Have never come back to me.

I haven’t received any booking confirmation as at the moment the booking hasn’t actually been made but they have the money.

I was sceptical about trying a wowcher holiday and now really wish I hadn’t!

Avoid at all costs!
