It is repeatedly advertised as being “for two people”, including:

- two-night mini cruise for two people
- price based on two adults sharing
- references to a shared cabin and wording throughout implying a couple’s package.

This clearly gives the impression that one purchase covers two people. In reality, you actually need two vouchers for two people — something that is very easy to miss given how the page is just simple “what’s included” highlights.
I only discovered this after redeeming the voucher to access full booking details. At that point, I also found that redeeming affects your ability to get a refund.

When I tried to resolve this, the experience got worse. A representative from Travelolo (Andy) was dismissive and rude, repeatedly pushing me to book an alternative holiday without providing full details upfront. That is not acceptable — I shouldn’t be expected to commit to something I can’t properly review. We also cannot afford to purchase an additional voucher, so this “solution” isn’t realistic.

To make matters more frustrating, Wowcher states that refunds must be handled by the merchant once redeemed, yet I am being sent back and forth with no clear resolution. At this point, Wowcher should step in and take responsibility for refunding this, given how the deal is presented.

Overall, this feels misleading and unnecessarily difficult to resolve. I would strongly urge others to read every detail carefully before redeeming — the headline offer is not as straightforward as it appears.

After booking a trip via Wowcher, firstly the flights were changed, then the football match was rescheduled to a totally unsuitable date.
Travelolo are more than happy to take your money, but refused any refund or transfer of booking, and were completely unsupportive.
£600 down and no trip. Crooks.

Again, hidden costs they don’t tell you about, to say poor customer service is an understatement. Have a look at WOWCHER RIP OFF for numerous stories of complaints of Travelolo.

I booked my holiday with Krishna for my birthday for Lake Como Italy and she provided me with a really good deal and was really calm and understanding and catered for our needs and budget. I would definitely recommend booking with Krishna specifically and will be booking again soon!

as they say if something looks to good to be true it usually is, and this was no different feel totally scammed by Wowcher and Travelolo and wish I had done my homework. 3 nights Lake Como break inc. hotel and flights £229 each sounded like a pretty good offer. Then I redeemed the voucher and got a call from Sam at Travelolo to go through the details that's when they get you, Our flight out with Ryanair leaves so late in Oct we dont land till midnight and then he told me we would have a 1hr 20 min transfer to arrange ourselves to Lake Como and there are no trains from the airport at the time we land, so in other words he said would cost us approx £120 in a taxi to lake como. None of these details are included in the wowcher description, then he hits you with "but I can upgrade you to an afternoon flight at a cost of £89 each more" and a £10 each fee not even sure what this was for as it doesnt state on the email I was sent but he added it in anyway and charged me an additional £198 so my £458 break became £656 just like that. Not only that I went on Ryanairs website and could have got these flights so much cheaper and with seats and luggage inc. something else we dont even get in this price. So Wowcher give you only the hotel you will be staying in, it doesnt tell you who you fly with or when or your return flights or how far away the airport is from your hotel as you dont know what airport your landing at. I am really upset and feel like we have been taken advantage of but its to late now to do anything about it. Please dont fall foul as I really believe this to be a hard core scam I could have literally got this so much cheaper if I had booked the flights and hotel separately and even got checked luggage etc. what I thought was bargain has me wishing we were not going already. I rarely leave reviews, but my experience with Travelolo has been so upsetting that I feel like I have no choice. I would strongly advise anyone considering booking through Travelolo to think twice. They do not care about the people they are dealing with and cannot be trusted with your money. DO NOT USE THEM. I cannot express enough how badly we have been treated.

I redeemed a Wowcher voucher with Travelolo for what was meant to be a special trip to Venice for my mum’s 60th birthday. I thought using Wowcher would make everything easier, but instead, the whole process has been stressful, disappointing, and exhausting.

The itinerary Travelolo offered was unsuitable, so I requested a cancellation in writing on 8th April, less than 24 hours after redeeming the voucher. I have full proof of this. No booking was ever made, no dates were agreed upon, and nothing was confirmed. However, Travelolo have repeatedly ignored my request and continued to push me to book something I had already declined. It is now 20 days later, and neither Travelolo nor Wowcher have tried to resolve the issue.

The phone call I received from Sean (the senior advisor) was particularly upsetting. Instead of acknowledging my cancellation, I was pressured and spoken to in a way that felt dismissive and manipulative. This was supposed to be a milestone birthday surprise for my mum, and instead I’ve been left dealing with stress, delays, and a complete lack of respect. I’m hoping that by writing this review, I can at least stop someone else from going through this.

So far I have had a good experience, Krishna was very helpful. I bought a deal on Wowcher, and then after buying the deal I was able to add on an additional night and add an excursion for a very good price, then once offered the choices of hotel to stay at, I picked one and then realised the other option would have been better so called and hoped they could change it after confirmation and for a tiny amount extra she managed to change it and upgrade the room for us.

I had an amazing experience with my travel advisor Krishna! She truly went above and beyond to find the best possible option for my trip. Everything was perfectly tailored to my needs, from the location to the price and overall experience. She was attentive, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable, making the whole process smooth and stress-free. I couldn’t have asked for a better service — highly recommend to anyone looking for a seamless and enjoyable travel planning experience!

I was pressured into agreeing to change my flight times within 10 minutes while I was at work. They called me saying my original flight to Milan would land too late because the hotel was around 2 hours away, so they pushed me to pay extra to “fix” the timings so I’d arrive earlier and have more time. Under that pressure, I agreed.

When I realised the details didn’t match what I was told, I emailed immediately to cancel, but my cancellation was ignored. Instead, I was told the booking was “non‑refundable” despite the fact it was made under pressure and with misleading information.

What they didn’t tell me was that while changing the flights, they also changed my hotel to a completely different town over an hour away from the original location. None of this was explained properly during the call.

Customer service felt dismissive and didn’t address any of the issues I raised. When I contacted my bank, they told me that because I had technically “agreed” during the pressured call, there was nothing they could do through their standard dispute process.

I would avoid Wowcher and Travelolo at all cost.

Booked a short break through Wowcher. You only get ALL the information AFTER redeeming your voucher with Travelolo, and the details of the break were totally unacceptable! Flights to and from different airports at ridiculous times of the day (late out, early back), and hours away from the resort hotel. Asked for a refund, only to get bounced back and forth between Wowcher and Travelolo. Both saying refunds not possible. Avoid Avoid Avoid!

Krishna helped me with my flight and hotel package and she was very helpful and kind, she spent a lot of time getting me the best deals. If you need the best price for the best deals I would recommend Krishna.

Dealt with a women named Krishna, it was quite the hassle initially to get through to them regarding my booking (getting a hold of my specific agent) but once I did she was helpful and accommodating. Understood my needs and genuinely went that extra mile despite me being a pain. It was a bit of a messy process regarding dates but got there in the end and would probably book with them again.
