I absolutely love Toast clothes and have bought many classic pieces over the years.
Following the demise of my cashmere/wool wrap I treated myself to another. Sadly the quality is not the same , thinner and smaller. Such a shame as the price tag remains premium.

Third time hopefully a charm
Customer service is helpful and on time, but received a damaged pair of shoes, returned them and received the wrong size and style the second time. Trying one more time. Each time I have to repurchase. Frustrating situation

Great products, great company
I really enjoy the products and the ethos of this company. If I go into store the staff are so helpful and knowledgeable and help select items that I will enjoy. In line is efficient and easy. Customer support has always been excellent when contacted.

Fantastic customer service
I had an issue with Royal Mail sending the wrong item to the warehouse. Spoke to Rachel at customer services who sorted it out. Parcel got redirected. Fantastic service from Toast. Thank you to all at the warehouse who helped solved this issue. Fantastic customer service !!

Don’t expect problem solving
They just repeat the information you gave right back to you without giving any support. I had reached out weeks ago about my package and they told me they didn’t have any control over it anymore. Now when I reach out about issues flagged at customs, they repeated back what information I had already provided to them without any acknowledgement that I am having a difficult time. The company does not seem to take ownership over getting their goods to their customers in a seamless manner.

Each time we contacted DHL for an update, they advised that a Social Security Number was required in order to clear customs. Unfortunately, the options available were either for you to provide this information to DHL so the parcel could be released, or to refuse the shipment and have it returned to us.
Having checked the tracking today, we can see that the parcel has now cleared customs and is making its way to you. We sincerely apologise for the inconvenience caused and appreciate your patience while this was being resolved.

I have many items from toast, try to buy on sale because things are pricey- hence 4 vs 5 stars! But always stylish and unique, quality made and ethically produced. Very good customer service as well - real humans. Purchased a pair of Vibae canvas shoes recently which frayed badly. When I brought this to TOAST’s attention, they immediately offered a full refund. I decided on a partial refund and have kept the shoes. Will keep coming back to TOAST.

Attempted to cancel order within 2 days of ordering. The order according to TOAST updates has not shipped. Customer service refused to cancel order, say they were unable to cancel.

Unfortunately, we have a very short window in which an order can be cancelled, often around 10 minutes after it is placed. Once an order has begun processing in our warehouse, we are no longer able to stop or amend it, even if it has not yet been dispatched.
If you no longer require the order, you can either refuse delivery when it arrives or accept the parcel and return it to us using our returns process for a refund.

Toast has consistently produced a uniquely designed well-made product. I find the pieces versatile with a timeless quality, I am able to wear the pieces for many years. Sad to say I've had a particularly unpleasant experience with Toast, and I've been a customer both online and in the York and Harrogate stores for many years.
I ordered two cotton poplin tops online at £135 each.
The order arrived 22nd July at 12:15 pm.
Both tops were wrapped together in one piece of tissue paper in the brown Toast bag.
They both smelt of stale perfume.
One more strongly than the other - this one has a white deposit on the back hem and some odd stitching on the front placket as though it's been stitched together to stop the front from gaping?
It suggests it has been worn and returned.
I informed Toast by email at 1:15pm on 22nd July - just one hour after the package was delivered and as soon as I'd opened it.
I'm old, and old-fashioned, I had informed Toast of the defects prior to my returning and I just expected their response would be 'please accept our apologies, please return the items for a full refund'.
Instead I received a request to send photos, which I did, then I received this:
"We are sorry to see that this has happened to your item. This is not something we would expect from our products.
We would like to have this item back for quality control, where our production team will investigate and determine if this fault is refundable."
And yet, Toast's quality control appears not to have checked the items before sending them out me in this condition?
And now they will, 'determine if it is refundable'.
I'm shocked, saddened and outraged in equal measure.
But, whatever the outcome, I could never have trust in Toast again.

We are sorry to hear of your disappointment. After reviewing the circumstances, the parcel was delivered in line with the delivery instructions that were provided directly to the courier after the order was placed.
As outlined in our Terms & Conditions, TOAST cannot accept liability for delivery instructions given to the delivery company that differ from the delivery address provided at checkout. If a customer requests that an order be left in an alternative location, such as with a neighbour, in a shed, or another safe place, responsibility for the parcel passes in accordance with those instructions.
We appreciate this is not the outcome you were hoping for and understand your frustration. However, as the parcel was delivered to address the order was placed with, we are unable to refund your order.
