You use this company if you’re in debt. No one actually chooses to be in debt. I work 50+ hours a week and found it hard to call them when they were open. I had a ccj registered and had agreement in place for a monthly instalment. However, I emailed to ask to set up the instalment with a direct debit as I had tried online but it wouldn’t allow me. I got a reply asking for my bank details about 10 days later. I replied same day. I heard nothing back and payment day came and no direct debit had been set up. So I emailed again. And again and again. I was then getting threatening emails telling me if I didn’t pay they would take further steps to recover the money. Like I was the one not trying to pay! I took a day off work and called them. They had all the emails there, and said I needed to call them. But why not mention this in the email they sent me instead of asking for my bank details to set it up? Absolute waste of my time. I obviously have several debts, and normally dealing with the other companies has been so much more straight forward and less degrading than this one. If I could give zero stars I would as nothing at all was straight forward.

The Call centre operator was polite and discreet and listened. Helpful and not patronising
Unfortunately there was a lot of noise distortion in the call background

They do not sent appropriate notices and the contact for the fraud doesn't work when using their own instructions!
There was no attempt at resolution and they didn't even bother to investigate the matter. All of which I have clear documentation thereof.

Mish is an absolute asset to your company. Calm , helpful , empathetic.

SHOCKINGLY AWFUL. Beth was an absolute battle to deal with. Full of attitude and lacked professionalism. No empathy, only concerned with making sure it was known that the admin issue was NOT her, nothing to with her it.. tm legals fault...even though she was supposed to be the professional face of TM Legal. Place should have their legal licenses looked at. Truly shocking.
I hope I NEVER have the misfortune of dealing with these cowboys again.
Beth needs some customer relations training ASAP!

Spoke with Connor today about paying a late payment.. But explained to him about my broken leg and not being able to work so he kindly put back the payments till I start work again in a few weeks! Top bloke, much appreciated!

I was put at ease within 2 minutes of speaking to a gentleman called Ian, very polite,very verbally approachable and worked with me to set up a DD with ease.
Thanks Ian,no longer have to worry about the outstanding balance owed.

I spoke to Mish about my current situation. This is why I like to talk to TMLegal, Mish was polite, professional, listened to my concerns and gave me valuable advice. He is a credit to your team. I felt at ease throughout and will happily deal with again.

Called to re arrange my payment plan , I originally set it up for the 1st of every month , but again the company tried taking the payment out 5 days before , called in today and the advisor said I need to make a down payment in order for any payment plan to take effect , absolutely refused to do this and agent said oh ok don’t worry that’s your plan all active , agent lied on different occasions to try and get more money out of me , not to mention the bombardment of calls on a daily basis

Just finally got enough to start paying and the process was so easy, great customer service, a weight off my mind.

The gentleman I spoke with sorry can't remember his name but he was very helpful and understanding of my situation and helped me set up my arrangement which took away my stress and anxiety off my shoulders.
