Lovely baby towel

Lovely baby towel and undoubtedly worth the money. Such a good idea the ‘apron’ style and so beautifully soft. I’ve bought Cuddledry towels before so I know they wash really well. The package arrived 2 days early wrapped in pretty tissue paper, can’t recommend highly enough.

Awful experience

I bought a product with them about two weeks ago.
They never sent me a tracking code or any updates about my order. After 1 week I sent them an email (since they don't offer direct contact via phone) and asked where my product is. They never replied to this email and I got worried if I would ever receive my product or got tricked by a fraudulent service. After another week passed without any reply I contacted them again and told them I want my money back or I will take further legal action. Only after this threat, they sent an automated answer saying a refund has been issued. I definitely recommend not to order anything on this website, their way of doing business seems very fraudulent to me.

The absolute worst company

The absolute worst company

DO NOT BUY FROM HERE. If you have any issues whatsoever just do you know they do not answer phone calls and give very limited email responses. I have been waiting over a month for my order just to find out from UPS that it has apparently been shipped to the wrong address. Not able to call or get in touch with anyone so I will be waiting days upon days for a response.

Worst costumer service

Worst costumer service! Bought a very expensive outdoor play set with swings and it broke within 4 months and because it just past their 90 day policy they didn’t take ownership of selling a damage product..

Per their response below, I originally provided the photos of the cracks all over the play set, it was not easy to show on photos what they look like and also the rotten wood doesn’t show in photos. Everytime my 2 yo or 4 yo daughter climbed on that thing it made noises indicating it was about to collapse it was 100% not safe to use and I said on my email that it seemed like the wood was not in good condition. I also have notes and messages with photos from the company that installed it saying how this didn’t seem to be in very good condition and they didn’t know how long this playset could last. I don’t know how you can provide a replacement part and fix the whole thing that to me was just a piece of garbage!!

After your latest email to us on July 11th, we email you back on the same day letting you know that because of the length of time, we are not able to issue a full refund or a full replacement. However, we offered to send replacement parts for the product but did not receive a response with the part numbers needed.

I ordered a monogram pink trim set for…great.

I ordered a monogram pink trim set for a baby shower. Received a blue trimmed item no monogram. Called and emailed multiple times with no reply. The only correspondence was 3 days later and said send a picture of the wrong item which I did. Still no response. Understand the climate we are in now, but the lack of zero customer service was horrible. A simple email or phone call with a update or apology would have been great.We have canceled all the furniture ordered and registry from there site.

Unbelievably bad company!!!

Unbelievably bad company!!!! I placed an order almost a month ago for a baby shower this weekend. This was the suggested company to purchase from through "Babylist" registry. No update on shipping status on The Tot website ("expected delivery date" is today and my order is still "being processed"). I sent an email yesterday and called today (no live person available). I am extremely agitated with this company and cannot believe that a registry would suggest purchasing from The Tot. I am going to contact the registry to express my unhappiness with The Tot.

I wish I would have read the reviews…

I wish I would have read the reviews before purchasing anything from this site. Baby pajamas were dusty and the snaps were so far apart on the onesie that the skin shows. Not worth the price!!!!!! Didn't return because I don't want to go thru the trouble. Read the reviews before buying anything from them!!!! Baby Pajamas ran slim. Slow delivery!!!!!!Over priced!!!!!!!!

Don't believe the 'expected delivery' date!

Don't believe the 'expected delivery' date! A week AFTER our item was supposed to be delivered we still had not even received the tracking number. Emailed customer service who did respond within 3 days to let us know they 'canceled our order because the item was out of stock and they do not plan to restock any day soon'. This information should have been provided as soon as we ordered so we could have purchased another gift in time for my grandsons birthday! Instead we showed up with an empty promise that 'your gift would be here soon'. Also 10 days to receive a refund seems a bit excessive - should be immediate. The products look great online and I was looking forward to our purchase but I probably won't order again as I need to trust that I'll actually receive my purchase. Best of luck!

order from a different reputable site

We had a dresser delivered and it had a huge scratch and the finish was chipped. The customer service is ridiculous. You cannot get a hold of anyone over phone, everything is over email. Took almost a full month to get our new dresser delivered. NEVER will order from this website again.

Loved the product (musical carnival)…

Loved the product (musical carnival) and when we lost a part, which was my son’s favorite toy, the Tot went way out of their way to replace it. Highly recommend!

DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THIS COMPANY - TOTAL SCAM. Ordered a very expensive product. I keep getting "delivering hold" from the courier company, they told me TheTot did not fill out the correct manifest papers and is stuck at customs. TheTot tracking number says cleared customs. The phone number associated with this business is just an answering machine. No human available to speak with. They never return calls. They only MAYBE return emails after 5 days with zero helpful information. They took over $1100 worth of my money with no product in sight and won't issue me a refund. I am enraged. This "company" is awful!!!

From the looks of what I'm able to find at this time, the issue was resolved by issuing a full refund for the undelivered products. Unfortunately, we did haves some items stopped by customs agents at the time. While all teams were working quickly to resolve the issue, it seems that the best solution for the customer was to receive a refund.

This has been one of the worst customer…

This has been one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had with a company. First, it's impossible to reach a human being. They do not answer any customer service calls, offering only to leave a message that is not returned for over a week. After waiting nearly a month while my product was "processing" after it was listed as in stock and available for immediate shipping the product arrived completely damages. This very expensive changing table had chipped door handles, scrapes along the entire side of the right panel and the magnets to open and close the door were crushed in pieces. Worst and most frustrating of all is the product is defective. The pieces do not fit together so I am not able to assemble the top piece. An absolute outrage for the cost of this item and the lack of response. I have yet to receive a single call back to address this issue. I will be contacting BBB to flag this as a fraudulent company today.

I can see that your shipment was in fact delayed due to worldwide shipping container shortages and I'm so sorry that this was the case here. Unfortunately, we do have to wait to hear updates from our vendors when it comes to larger furniture shipments such as yours. However, we did alert you to let you know that this is our process and we'd relay any messages to you as soon as we heard word regarding your shipment. Following, we were then able to provide the tracking information.
After you received your shipment, sadly, it was damaged within transit. We gave you the option of refund or a replacement following that in a timely manner. When you opted for a refund, we did refund your account within one week. Some cases take 10-12 business days to process depending on bank processing times.
While we try our best to reply to a new or current inquiry as soon as possible, we do try to make it clear that our responses could take anywhere between 1-3 business days.

I’ve contacted the Tot via email multiple occasions prior to placing an order, they never got back to me via email or after leaving a message. Went ahead and placed and order and have reached out to customer service and still no response. Poor communication, would not be a returning customer for this reason alone.

Still waiting for CS...

Update: changing my rating to 3 stars solely due to the CS experience. Hopefully most orders people place go more flawlessly than this order of mine did.

I love The Tot; I have shopped The Tot before; but I don’t think I will any longer.

I placed my daughter’s Christmas present order mid way through NOVEMBER - before Black Friday, so the delay can’t be BF related - and tracking is STILL saying “estimated delivery Thursday December 9th.” Obviously that’s not happening.

I emailed customer service December 2nd, and it leading into a weekend, I didn’t hear back from CS until the 8th. They said they would check with the vendor: as far I was aware THEY were the vendor, so not really sure who is actually shipping my order. With still no response back on what the vendor has said, I emailed them again on the 10th. Still no response. The phone number for customer service seems like it’ll be just as much a crap shoot as their email, as I had to leave a voicemail and will eventually - maybe - get a call back...

To top off the frustration, I keep getting automated emails from The Tot counting down the days until it’s too late to have Christmas delivery. Guess what day is the last day? TODAY! So essentially my daughter’s gifts, that were ordered almost a month ago, have to ship today for us to receive them in time.

I would love to continue supporting this company, especially since they have an amazing selection of companies, as well as the fact my other prior orders haven’t had issues, but I can’t support a company that has such terrible customer service. If you’re going to ghost on customers, it really doesn’t matter how awesome everything else is.

I’m editing to add: tracking an order is also a joke. If you lose the webpage from Narvar, you can’t find any other way to track your order. Most companies make it so that you can enter your order number and email to check up on the order. Not The Tot. For some reason finding any information about your order is impossible.

James is the best customer service representative

James is who I had the pleasure of communicating with on my order! He was so amazing and I can't not say enough about him! I was so so worried I was stuck with a ladder that I didn't want when I meant to order the ball pit (website issue) he emailed the vendor and fixed it all!! He even helped me to make sure I got the color balls for the ball pit! He went out of his way to make sure I got the color ball pit and balls for it! I can't thank James enough! I hope his boss/supervisor or whatever sees this. This man needs a raise!! lol

Item not delivered and no refund for 6 weeks

Absolute scam of a company. I had an order over $900. The delivered all items except the most expensive item over $200. The delivery person apparently could not find the address for this ONE ITEM. So it was returned mother worst part is, it has been 6 weeks and The Tot has not refunded me and is not responding to my contact messages. There is no phone # to call and no email address. BUYER BEWARE you can not trust this fraudulent company.

Please note that we do have a 1-3 business day response time. We were able to respond to your inquiry within 2 business days to find out more information about your lost package. Unfortunately, we do not as much control over packages once they are in the hands of the shipping carrier. However, we were able to submit a UPS claim and gave the option of receiving a store credit to give to the gift recipient, or a refund to your original form of payment. Our refunds do take up to 10-12 business days to process, but will be interrupted if a bank dispute claim is made. In this case, we did alert you in a timely manner of each scenario.
If you do not feel your case has been resolved, please let us know and we will do our best to come to a conclusion for you!

Bad customer services

I placed an order for my Sisters-in-laws baby shower gift and had it sent to her house. Unfortunately the gift never arrived (but it was showing delivered) you can't get customer services on the phone and they take days to email you back. I will not order from this company again the product that I purchased was not cheap and I was told to have her check with her neighbor (this was the first thing she did). I'm still wanting on a response from the Tot on how to get this fixed.
