Very positive experience
We are very very pleased with this oak bed frame. It is solid, and has a central supporting leg making it extremely stable (unlike some beds we tried out in a reputable store). The wood is beautiful and the bed has enough clearance under it for storage boxes. Just perfect.
It was packaged extremely well and simple to put together.
The company were very quick to get back to me every time i asked a question and the sample service was good too.
I wasn’t sure about buying a bed online without seeing it first but the company’s communication and the very positive reviews are what persuaded me (plus I couldn’t find what I wanted in a shop).
I would not hesitate to recommend The Oak Bed Company.

Great ordering, delivery and replacement
Easy ordering from clear images and measurements. They kept in touch about delivery.
The headboard had a scratch, we reported next working day and they said they would replace. Courier emailed a new date, we declined and let the company know who immediately got in contact and asked for a day we could do and this we confirmed for us within minutes.
We really like the finished bed and it feels a very well built, sturdy product.

For me, the highlight of this company was Georgie, her professionalism and friendliness to put the customer first, will keep The Oak Bed Store on my radar for my next mattress purchase. She went above and beyond to assist in delivery issues I was subjected to, which I'm so greatful for.

Excellent bed quality, clear assembly instructions, but very poor delivery arrangement
I purchased the Wilmore Solid Natural Oak Ottoman Storage Bed Frame from Oak Bed Store, and the product itself is outstanding. The quality is excellent — the wood feels premium, the structure is solid, and after using it for about two months, it remains very sturdy with no creaking, shifting parts, or instability. The ottoman storage space is extremely spacious and practical.
The assembly instructions were very clear, and the bed was easy to install by myself, which made the whole setup process smooth and stress‑free. Overall, I’m genuinely very satisfied with the bed frame.
However, the delivery arrangement was extremely disappointing, mainly due to the outsourced delivery company.
During the first delivery attempt, the driver did not call 30 minutes beforehand as instructed. The delivery arrived suddenly, causing me to miss the drop-off and forcing me to reschedule.
For the second attempt, I specifically requested an afternoon delivery slot, yet they still arranged it for the morning, completely ignoring my availability.
The product deserves five stars, but the delivery service only deserves one, so I’m giving an overall rating of four stars. I hope Oak Bed Store improves the management of their outsourced delivery partners so that their excellent products come with equally reliable service.

Hi Becky,
Thank you so much for taking the time to leave such a detailed review — we really appreciate it. We’re delighted to hear how happy you are with your Wilmore Solid Natural Oak Ottoman bed frame, and that you’ve found the quality, stability, storage space, and assembly all to be excellent.
I’m really sorry to hear about the issues you experienced with the delivery arrangements. We completely understand how frustrating it must have been to have missed communication on the first attempt and for the second delivery to be scheduled outside of your requested time. We’ll be passing your feedback on to the courier directly, as we absolutely expect a reliable and considerate service from our delivery partners.
It’s great to hear the product itself has met your expectations, and we really appreciate you highlighting both the positives and where we need to improve.
Thanks again for your feedback.

Exceptional
We have now purchased two beds over the past few years from the oak bed store! We dealt with Nina and Georgie in their customer service team who have been exceptional!! Telephone manner, knowledge of their product and their advice and support in making these purchases has been superb! The beds themselves are made of excellent quality (Lyon and Chester beds), easy to assemble instructions and their mattresses are incredibly comfortable (Edwin and Taylor if you want a soft mattress and The flow serene cloud for a slightly firmer one). I wouldn’t shop anywhere else!!
