Excellent end to end experience all the way from sales (with James Battrick) through to installation and early life support. They know what solar products work together well as a system, and also got me through a very difficult period for them through the new year with winter at its peak. The performance of the systems keeps getting better as we are moving into spring and summer.

We had solar and ashp fitted by ERW. The installation team were great and did a good job. However it did take much longer than we hoped and the level of communication could be improved. Overall satisfied.

The workmen were friendly, thoughtful and efficient. They tidied up after themselves and dealt quickly and efficiently with every request or query.

Solar panels fitted by this company. Great to deal with. There was a delay before installation but that was down to the suppliers. Eco Roof and Wall kept us informed at all stages.

- the people who came round were sincere and considerate and explained everything clearly. I'm no expert but the quality of the materials seems good and our loft definitely feels a whole lot warmer since we had the insulation (spray foam) put in!

I had external wall insulation added to my house by the Eco Roof and Wall Company. It was a large job, done at a difficult time of year and took several weeks to complete. Throughout the team worked really hard, and kept me up to date with what they were doing and any issues they had (usually weather related). The standard of work was excellent and I am happy to recommend them.

Recently had solar panels and battery installed by The Eco Roof and Wall Company- very happy customer.

From the initial sales survey, presentation and follow up information, through the installation and aftersales service, everything has been spot on!

The salesman was helpful, provided concise information and at no point did I feel pressured to sign anything or order anything.

The pre-installation survey resulted in a slight change to the design to improve output from the system.

Communication was clear and timely, with scaffolders, roofers and electricians all turning up as promised.

The installation itself was completed in a timely fashion and everything was left clean and tidy at completion.

After completion and following some heavy rain, I noticed a leak in the roof. Upon reporting the problem the roofing team returned the following day, identified and repaired the problem. Really can't ask for any more!

Overall, I would definitely recommend.

Once a date was agreed we were assigned a project manager who kept us updated on progress and was available to answer questions and deal with concerns.

The end result looks great and they tidied up after themselves.

We did have a problem with a drainpipe a few months later which they came and fixed within the week.

Just had solar panels and storage battery installed by eco roof. I researched this pretty deeply and after speaking to many companies, I went with Eco Roof due to the guarantees, the promised exceptional service levels, a confirmed date (if paid by an agreed date) and availability of the battery I wanted. I paid an extra £2500 as Eco Roof felt like a solid, reliable option.

On every one of the pillars that they sold themselves upon, I was let down.

1. Guarantees. The promised full guarantee on the down-payment does not cover 100% - it only covers 50%

2. The service levels. Despite having an oxymoronic “operations” department, Eco Roof have zero operational ability. Promised dates come and go with no contact from the company. Emails and calls are routinely ignored. Only when you phone and threaten legal action does anything happen. The panel installers were given the wrong address, scaffolders are given incorrect job sheet, Electrician turns up, but no battery, inverter, etc have been delivered.

Most staff are 3rd party contractors, all said they are new to the company. How they claim to deliver high level service with they are dependent upon new, 3rd party contractors is a mystery. The contractors were, in fairness, of high standard.

3. The installation date I was promised obviously came went. Trying to find out if the install was happening or not was a job in itself with the amount of ignored emails and broken promises of calls being returned.

4. The battery… despite the model being contracted, they changed this with no consultation. It only came to light after installation

Positives of the company.

They installed an extra 3 panels gratis as the initial survey would not fit the promised 9 panels. We ended up with 6 front, 6 rear which exceeded the original output level.

When staff did turn up, they were good.

Happy with the final product.

If I had paid market rate, I would have been reasonably happy with this company. The fact I paid a premium for the reasons above and they nowhere near delivered leaves me unable to recommend them.

There is a huge lack of management, organisation and customer care within the company.

They didn't know what they were doing.

I wish I done my research properly and got the work done by anyone but these clowns. If I had done this, I would be able to sleep at night knowing I'd be looked after. I then wouldn't have my trust abused, or suffered any harm and loss in damages. I'd have far better odds of actually getting what I'd paid for and have a warranty actually worth something.

I wish I listened to the genuine reviews which I have to sort by lowest to get to.

edit: I'm prepared for the nonsense they write in response to this review, pretending to care, pretending it was a one off. Terrible.

We had an air source heat pump installed two months ago, connected to a new underfloor heating system, however the hot water is not reaching the manifolds. I have called the company every day for 4 weeks being promised a call back and was disappointed every day. After three weeks they sent an electrician who could not find an electric fault. Towards the end of the following week they got a plumber to call us in the evening who suggested things to try but kept saying it wasn’t their fault. However no plumber has been arranged to come out and look at it one month after the fault was reported. It’s 10 degrees C in the house and we are absolutely freezing but there has been little to no compassion or professionalism shown.

The installation was also delayed for two weeks on the morning they were scheduled to start which left us without a shower for two weeks. The team then left the delayed install half way through to go and fix a leak at another property. The reason given for the delay in the first instance was fixing a leak at another job, so maybe the qualm of their work has fallen if they keep having to fix mistakes.

The electrician caused significant damage to the electrics by pulling cables over the main trunking in the house, delaying our rewire significantly. The company compensated us for the additional costs, but the inconvenience was very frustrating. The same electrician then returned and carried out further work. The following day, our electrician luckily checked the work and found significant risk of arcing that can lead to fire, so I would not trust this persons work.

I had solar panels, battery, air source heat pump, new radiators and sprayfoam installed.

Positives: the system works really well and the finished job is excellent. First contact mid August, fully installed by end October. Good pricing. Friendly staff who made sure we had what we needed and went the extra mile to get things sorted.

Negatives: Communication was very hit and miss. Most things rearranged, sometimes at short notice.

Overall: I felt I was a valued customer, receiving the customer service that only a small company can deliver. I got the products I needed and the installation was done to a high standard.

I was able to be flexible both with what was installed and when they could be installed which was handy as I did have some calls late afternoon rearraning things for the next day and finding out last minute that different things needed to be installed than what I had originally been told. The latter was due to the heat loss survey and the results / conclusions of this were not passed on to me. That said, what was installed was spot on and there was no difference in price.

At least part of this is down to current events - people are scrambling for these installations, or cancelling them as they can no longer afford them, leading to disruption for the small companies trying to deliver for their customers. This should not detract too much from the end result - a lovely warm home that is cheaper to run and better for the environment, with all items installed to a high standard and very quickly.

Service good from strat to finish. Chris was very helpful and responded quickly to any queries. We had a bit of damage to the wall and carpet but this was fixed.

The Eco Roof and Wall Company recently carried out an installation of solar panels on our roof. The whole process from initial quotations and payback forecasts was efficiently handled by Chris. He answered all our queries quickly and facilitated the instal well managing any issues that arose during this phase.
Also, want to mention Vinnie, the electrician, he made a very professional installation of the inverter and associated electrical hardware supporting the panels.
Would recommend this company to anyone contemplating solar for their home.

Had my solar and battery installation completed by the eco roof and wall company and Chris who runs the departments attention to detail when planning the job filled me with great confidence.

There was a material shortage so it meant that I had upgraded to a better spec at no extra cost to myself.

I am now looking to get my parents property done and I would have no problems in recommending this company to any friends or family.

Chris came to survey and impressed from the start. He explained everything to us clearly and was quick to provide us with an honest quote with no selling pressure. The Eco Roof and Wall Company were more than able to accommodate our specific requests. There was a hiccup with the scaffolding but Chris kept us up to date the whole time, which saved us stress. All of the subcontractors were efficient and polite and Chris came to ensure that we were satisfied. All in all the whole experience was excellent and we would not hesitate to recommend this company to anyone considering PVCs.

I would recommend Eco Roof and Wall Company.

Their initial quote was quick, accurate and very competitive.

The installation date was confirmed shortly afterwards, albeit there was a late-ish change due to material supply issues. This is understandable given current demand for solar panels.

The actual installation day could have gone better. Two seperate teams did the installation which I wasn't told about but it was finished quickly enough. There was also a few technical issues but it was again sorted quickly enough.

They supplied an inverter dongle for free which means I can monitor the solar supply remotely, which I really appreciated.

Throughout the process the staff were always available to speak to and answer questions. This definitely made me feel informed.

I have used them to quote for solar panels on another project I have coming up.
