Awesome wedding suits, so awesome I came back for a tux!

I bought myself a Huntmsman and got 6 groomsman suits from the Drop... I remember standing at the aisle thinking their suits looked better! Better fit, more contemporary style but 20x cheaper at £300. I have an Oxford dinner this month and just got my tux... it looks awesome and Jeremy helped to educate me on the difference between black/white tie, cumberbunds etc...

There were a few nips and tucks on one of the guy's suits but it was an easy fix through their network of drycleaners/alteration cos.

Excellent quality suit. Delivered on schedule as promised. Look no further!

Fantastic product, bought a suit for my wedding, fits like a glove. The team were very helpful with sussing out the details of the order. The only negative is the communication. Sometimes their responses can be a bit delayed. Despite that I couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

The Drop have a good concept going, the website is easy to Navigate, the choice of fabrics and style was plentiful however due to very poor communication from the very start and throughout the process I never felt confident my suit would turn out right and whether it would be delivered on time.

The suit was not exactly how I wanted it and the shape and sizes were slightly off and this could have been resolved if they answered their phones (I rang upwards of 20 times with no answer). With such a bespoke idea its important that having a conversation over phone is much more reassuring than going back and forward over 1/2 emails throughout the 6 week process.

Having said that they were quick to offer covering the cost of having the suit altered and also steam pressed for me. The suit turned out good for the price and actually the best part was the bespoke white shirt I had made alongside it.

If the communication improved and we could be updated on stages of the suits making I would not hesitate to order again.

Eerily similar experience to the reviewer Hugo Lopes' but mine was slightly more atrocious. I also paid the additional 50 pounds for expedited delivery but did not receive the suit I ordered until over a month after the intended delivery date.

I ordered a suit from one of their suggested styles. While I understand that the company doesn't necessarily make the exact suit shown in the images, I assumed because they advertised this style, the suit I would receive would match it pretty closely. I was incorrect. The initial suit I received was not even close to what the image showed. I contacted support and was offered a refund of 50 pounds which I did not accept (I paid 50 pounds for expedited shipping so by accepting this refund, I would be getting free shipping and a suit that I don't want for full price...not ideal in my mind). I asked support for a full refund or a remake of the suit if they can find the proper fabric and with the caveat that I absolutely needed this suit by a certain date (a couple weeks before my event, to account for tailoring). It took a week for The Drop's team to decide what they could do and give me an answer that they would remake it with the correct fabric and get it to me in time.

After agreeing on the details of the remade suit, I inquired about an order number that I could reference. This was never provided and I did not hear from The Drop for 11 days. At this point, they informed me that the product would ship directly from their production facility in China and provided a vague estimated delivery date of "early next week".

A few days later I got a text from FedEx (I had signed up for updates for any delivery) that something was shipping to me from China so I assumed this must be the suit. The Drop gave no notification of shipment. Upon receiving the suit the next day, I came to find I had been sent somebody else's suit. I immediately called The Drop to notify them of the mistake but they did not answer the call so I left a message.

At this point, it had been 6 and a half weeks since my initial order, so much for expedited. I received an email from the support team a few minutes after I left my message. They apologized about the suit not being what I expected and asked what was wrong. I explained to them again that it was not the correct suit. They responded and confirmed what I suspected, I had been sent someone else's suit and that they will ensure the correct suit is sent to me 'swiftly'. I asked for an estimate on when I can expect it and for them to confirm that my suit had not been sent to the wrong person as well. They responded that they will check on it.

Two days later, the support team responded by saying their supplier sent my suit to their London office and that they would forward it to me once they received it and asked me my courier preference. I immediately responded and requested that they ship it overnight and suggested FedEx. After two more days of dead air, the support team responded and let me know they had shipped it via UPS but at least they provided a tracking number.

8 weeks after I ordered and paid for expedited shipping with an expected delivery of 3 weeks, I received the suit I wanted. Though not perfect, it was much closer to what I was expecting initially but that does not absolve this company of all of the stress, frustration, and disappointment they caused me.

Unless you have no deadlines and infinite patience for mistakes, avoid ordering from here and actively discourage others from doing so.

Oh, and the cherry on top, a button came off the jacket about 4 hours into wearing it for the first time.

Making the order is incredibly easy I'll given them than and the website is well built. Anything after that is pure nightmare.
Tried to contact them before purchase but they only got back to me 2 week's after.
I paid the 50 pounds more for the quick delivery, that proved itself useless as they said that because of the high demand it was going to be late. The fabrics are of poor quality and the construction even worse. I found loose threads of fabric all over the jacket, no shoulder support, arrived all full of wrinkles and without the suit cover or case. The colour was completely different from the one showed in the website.
Ended up buying a new one from the high street for less the price, better fabric, better construction and paid a tailor to cut and adjust the bits that needed attention. In the end still paid less than the full suit from thedrop. And got a promotion for free shoes (they are bad, but free). Save yourself some money and shop around some shops. More time spent but you'll end up with some exchange money in your pocket.

communication with the Drop was excellent, as was the suit, fit was perfect and material of a very high quality, will definitely be ordering again

I usually struggle to find great fitting clothes off-the-rack and so gave The Drop a go after a friend recommended it. The suit arrived a week early and fitted perfectly! I had lots of compliments! I shall be returning very soon.

The review system only works if you apply a star rating with a minimum of one star which is why this rating is that high.

Very experienced in buying Bespoke suits for almost 50 years now, some doubt with regards the new breed of ITailor which has been confirmed by my experience with @The Drop@.
Without Doubt the worst clothing experience I have ever had, I went to their London Offices and had them measure me to ensure measurements were correct.
When the suit arrived, I could fit into it twice the detailing was absent and both the cut and fit were terrible.
Having sent photos of the suit to The Drop their response was a couple of adjustments would sort it. I returned with the suit to their offices to demonstrate the poor quality of the suit and their less than poor chances of making this suit fit.
Whilst they offered to remake the trouser they felt a couple of tucks would be OK on the jacket.
A remeasure ensued.
Whilst the trousers reappeared in the post the jacket and accompanying shirt failed to materialise after several weeks wait. I was informed they had lost both the Jacket and shirt?
If I could wait a few weeks they would remake them.
Having then insisted several times on a complete refund this was agreed provided I returned the trousers first.
Since returning the trousers (which were still wrong) I have received the refund in full.

I would not normally be tempted into writing a review but this place is shocking and inadequate, not to be recommended at all.

i ordered my suit from get the drop after seeing there instagram page and liking a lot of the pictures on there. I spoke with someone who works there and after thinking about it for a day or 2 i decided i would order a suit based on what i saw them advertise.

At first it seemed to be going well as i placed my order and paid my fee. Not long after my order was placed and payment was taken, i was sent an email to notify me that the suit i had seen and ordered, didnt actually look the way it was supposed to and the color was different.

Obviously this made me feel a tad uneasy but i decided on a different suit and continued with the order as planned.
Again not long after deciding on a new suit i was advised that with it being a new order it was potentially going to take a little while longer to arrive.

From here i waited for the suit to arrive and when it did i tried it on to find that the suit was baggy, crinkled and just didnt look anything like it was supposed to.
Even the color was different again!

I spoke with someone named Jeremy, who advised me whatever the cost of the alterations, get the drop would cover these costs.

I had these changes made and after already paying £349 for my suit and shirt, i paid a further £112 to have my suit and shirt tailored to fit me. Bare in mind this was a bespoke suit i had ordered!

Since this i havent heard anything back from anyone at the drop which is dissapointing. I expected a good experience and was looking forward to my new suit, this never materialised and feel like it was all a bit of a sham!

suit came delivered in a box, was wrinkled and didnt fit. cost me a fortune to get fitted and now been left even more out of pocket.

Advice to future customers...
GO TO A TAILOR AND DO IT THE TRADITIONAL WAY!

I had my suit for my wedding made by the Drop. The suit was nice material, and got lots of really nice comments on the day, but the service was a struggle and therefore stressful. Emails usually took a chase to get a reply. I booked a measurement session with them as offered in their emails, but was called back on the morning of the appointment to say they couldn't make it. I offered some other times, but didn't hear back from them until after those times had passed. Because I was a bit close to the deliver deadline, I relied on my own measurements, which felt stressful (despite their assurances that they had many online customers for whom it worked fine). In the end my worries were confirmed: the trousers didn't get close to fitting my waist or legs and - really weirdly - whilst the jacket fitted pretty well, the waistcoat (presumably using the same measurements) was waaaay too big. I went to a local tailor, planning to use the £35 budget from the Drop to fix it, and there was reminded what good service was like by that tailor. The suit was sorted out by the tailors, although it cost £50. The Drop reimbursed me the full £50, which was good of them, but really that just felt like a sign that the company hadn't met their customer service promises. I paid for express delivery, for peace of mind, but they missed it (by a week at least) so they had to refund me that fee, too. And they couldn't send the swatches I requested for fabric, when I asked for that, either.

Overall, my experience is that the drop make decent suits: it's lovely material, and overall the suit turned out well, and it's good value. But the service was a struggle, and the tailoring isn't (of course) as good a couple of suits I got tailored in Vietnam. If, like me, you are a slightly anxious type - especially where a wedding is concerned, when anxiety is higher than normal for most people - then prepare yourself for some service worries, maybe until they're a bigger operation. Pretty much every stage hit snags and it took a chase to get a response from them, and I was worried I would have to wear a different suit because when it arrived it fit so poorly. In the end, though, it was a great suit which got lovely comments.

After at least 2 months of procrastination, reading reviews, investigating the company and doing more research than necessary for an online purchase, I took the plunge and ordered 3 bespoke suits from The Drop and the results have surpassed expectation.

The first hesitation was around cost; how can a company offer bespoke, tailored suits, of good quality, for what appears to be a very low price compared to its rivals? This should not put you off. The first of my suits arrived, on time, and is flawless.

Secondly, they claim to be able to offer the perfect fit, but how can they do this when they aren't the ones measuring you for the suit? The provision of an online video library to ensure you measure yourself accurately and, coupled with the photos you send, the fit is truly perfect. I tried the trousers first and I have not had a pair of trousers fit me this well in as long as I can remember. The jacket hugs the frame of the body and is cut to perfection.

Throughout the ordering process, post payment and in the weeks leading up to delivery, I have been in regular contact with Jonathan (the CEO) and his team and, considering they are only just starting out, the level of customer service is already up there and I can only see it improving.

There is always a fear in making a purchase of this nature, especially when the product itself is not immediately tangible, but fear not! The end result is fantastic and I already can't wait to receive the next two suits I have on order. The future of bespoke tailoring is here!

The product was delivered as ordered and actually a few days ahead of schedule. I was concerned about the fit as friends had used other online only companies and they got the measurements wrong, however that was not the case here. Best fitting suit I've ever owned.
the instructions on the measurements and the ordering process are very clear and easy to follow.
Only little improvement on the service to me would have been regular order updates to reassure me that the product will be delivered on time.

Was a little hesitant at first to spend a not-insignificant amount of money on a suit online.... I am so glad I did. I wear suits every day for work and my Drop suit is already my new favourite.

I met with one of the Drop guys who took my measurements for the suit. He managed to fit me in very quickly in East London/Hoxton. He was great and really passionate about his work. The suit came some three weeks later and communication was great all the way through.

When the suit arrived it was a little long on the sleeves and on the back, but I was able to get it taken in locally. The Drop reimbursed me super quickly which is a great touch.

The material is excellent quality and would definitely recommend for work or personal use...I'm eyeing up my next Drop suit already!

Not the usual way to order a hand made suit, but I thought I'd give it a try. Very odd that you pay before they take your measurements, but the measurements and the photos you send are probably just as good as a tailor doing it and far less costly. They even questioned my measurements (I apparently have exceedingly long arms!). The fit is good, the material fine for Summer suits, and the choice of linings and personalisation are more than enough for most people. I am slightly larger than most, I would imagine their suits would be perfect for younger, slimmer people
