Organising a big company trip, my company booked several coaches to collect staff from UK offices and overseas staff from airports. We spent more than £5K with them. I had arranged for 2 coaches and other office managers had arranged the others.
I was concerned from the outset at how difficult it was to get hold of anyone to speak to, to arrange the specifics of our requirements. Every time I called I spoke to someone different and some of their staff answered calls in Australia. I established at the outset that I wouldn't be able to give a final exact number of passengers until the 170 staff had confirmed their attendance; but we booked for coaches with bigger capacities regardless. Trying to get confirmation on what size coaches would arrive was an ordeal. I gave the maximum number of seats I required but the quote replies kept coming back ambiguous showing 55 - 61.
I had to call multiple times to get the numbers corrected and establish the names and contact details of the drivers. There was a complete lack of customer service. One of the emails they sent advised that any further queries via telephone would incur a charge of £50. See snippet immediately below:
"Making Booking Changes:
We offer two ways to update your booking:
• Online: The quickest and easiest option is to use the change link included in your booking confirmation email.
• Phone or Email: If you prefer to make changes by phone or reply to this email, an administration fee of $/£50 will apply (excluding any additional depot charges). This fee is waived for account holders."

As mentioned by another reviewer, The Coach Company is a broker (middleman) and does not own any coaches, so their website is misleading. The coaches that turned up to collect our staff did not resemble anything that I saw on the website. The coaches were old, battered, dirty, with ill fitting and bedraggled curtains and smelled of petrol. One of the staff got a lot of chewing gum stuck to the back of his trousers from just sitting on one of the seats. The seats were dirty and soiled. The toilets on the coaches both on the outbound journey and return journey were filthy, with no light, no soap, no toilet paper. During one of the journeys, when the coach stopped for a comfort break, the staff reported to me that the driver disappeared for more than 20 minutes with no explanation on his return. The staff stated that the route the driver took was out of the way and longwinded. Given that there had been an anticipated 1 hour 40 mins journey of 2 coaches leave the same pick-up location, and we had allowed for additional time for traffic we expected them to be a little late. However, although both coaches had departed at the same time coach no:2 arrived much later than coach no:1 and almost 3 hours later than the anticipated arrival time. AT the destination one of the other office managers advised me that she had also had problems and had been spoken to rudely by the Coach Company when she had called about the names of the drivers for the coaches she had booked.
On the return journey I contacted the Coach Company to ask if they could make the pick up time a bit earlier. They were not able to contact the drivers......further proof that the drivers are not their own. Both coaches arrived late, and the same scenario ensued again. I was not made aware that there had been a change in drivers so wasn't given contact details of both, and the coaches again were filthy and of questionable safety.
Mercifully I had agreed with one of the drivers to detour from the original destination so that the people who had flights to catch would not miss their flights. I remained on the 2nd filthy coach, which again, had a foreign driver that did not appear to know the roads; took the wrong route and delivered us back to our final London destination 4 .5 hours after picking us up. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN.

The company was very easy to deal with, with friendly staff. The coaches I ordered turned up on time with an extremely helpful driver and got us to our destination with plenty of time to spare.

We had a really enjoyable and a very comfortable journey with the coach company. Door to door service, punctual and with a lovely professional driver. Would be happy to recommend and use it again!

We booked with the coach company for a hen party trip to the airport. We were a group of 24 and the experience was un faulted! Both journeys were absolutely fantastic. The buses both arrived early with no issues and both Huw and Jade were so helpful. The whole booking process through to delivery was seamless and made so easy. We were a big group so could have easily been a lot different. Would highly recommend!

After reading reviews I decided to book with the coach company to take our football squad of 21 young driver's on a mini tour. From starting the booking and throughout , this company has been fantastic. They communicate throughout booking process, they turned up on time for pick up and drop off to and from journey on separate days with friendly professional driver's and with comfortable clean coaches.
We fully recommend the coach company and we shall no doubt use them from now on with our organisation .

Anthony was our driver and at no point did I worry about whether our Executive coach would arrive on time, they communicated with me throughout the day, arrived on time and the journey there and back was seamless. Fast response to my request for a quote. Competitive rates. Company checked in with me regularly in advance of the booking date. Driver confirmed he was on his way on date of booking, arrived on time and was very helpful in getting our students on board and on their way. Company followed up on booking after the event to ensure everything ran smoothly. Would definitely recommend and use again.

Cancelled our entire booking with 6 days notice, offered no alternatives and no reasonable explanation. Refund took 6 working days. Do NOT recommend.

Used this company for a trip to and from Skegness to Oldham. Turned up on both times at the arranged time and the driver was always in contact with us. Great company
